Able to help me with my concerns but needed to come back to finish all services, was not able to bring all needed equipment. Black box needed was not able to bring!

Installed a in/door for squires, removed in/ out door and left a big hole fo re-entry. Totally inexperienced workmen. May have damage our house.

Great services. These guys do wonderful job.

Every time a technician comes out I am more impressed than the last time. We have been with Affordable Pest for over five years. Just today I needed an immediate visit and not only were they prompt and expedited my service call, but the scheduler was so personable and funny and helped me calm down and laugh about what was happening. I am so impressed with this company.

I have had a horrible experience with this company. I had a mouse and called the first company I found (my mistake). The tech showed up and couldn't find the mouse, but signed me up for their "premium gold VIP" service for $349....then $149/qtr thereafter. I was told I'd get a copy of my agreement the following day; it didn't come. I asked for it several times. I finally got it on the evening of the 3rd day. Don't you know the agreement says I have 3 days to cancel, so obviously missed the window. They only show for inside service if you call. They never got rid of my mouse, and they show randomly for the outside quarterly service. There's no reminder that they're going to snatch $149 from you, it just happens. They aren't communicative at all. And whoever is answering the phone, email, and texts is a rock with lips. I filed a BBB complaint form and they've ignored it. I would not recommend this business to Satan himself or anyone else.

I had my 3 months pest treatment and Adrian came this was the first time I met him he did an excellent job. I’ve been with this company for a year and a half I think he was the best. He took his time and did what he was supposed to do he didn’t rush. Everyone is pleasant but I think I would recommend Adrian every time. I’ve been with this company for almost a year everyone comes here has been pleasant. They remove my insulation in my attic in the beginning and clean it out sealed any opening areas to keep rodents out and replaced it with new insulation haven’t had any problems with rodents. 🙏🏽 They come out every 3 months and in between if needed. I’m not sure what’s the going rate for every three months of getting this service done but I feel like it could be cheaper over it’s a nice company to go with they get the job done!!

Even though I was not able to be home, the technician completed all scheduled work and sent photos. He answered my questions via text. Highly recommend

Do not ever use this business. I employed them because I had a racoon in my attic. They charged me over 4k to put in new insulation and a roof vent protector. I just found out today they never did the roof vent protector but instead installed some makeshift wrap around over the opening, putting screws into the shingles instead of beneath them and leaving some screw holes completely open for the weather to seep into the attic ... WHICH IT DID. This is a very dishonest company. I'm older and could not get up on the roof to check their work so I found out about their dishonesty the hard way. If you are going to use them, get pictures of the work they claim they are doing. But, I would never recommend this company to anyone except an enemy.

Services is 1,000.00 percent better then Terminix I had for years and left them once this company came to my home remove Raccon and now taking care of property for all pest control Thanks a million times for being the best company for me

Very nice people and gets the job done. Also cleaned off cobwebs when they didn’t need too.

Affordable Pest technician texted when he would arrive at our home. And he arrived at that time. He first performed an ant inspection and then thoroughly applied bait around one kitchen window which is next to our kitchen table. The table is where the ants have managed to appear. Next he applied bait on the cove which is where the floor and wall meet. Then 5 or 10 ft past the table to make sure that the complete area where the ants may be. And finally he applied bait on the kitchen table legs. Excellent job. He then inspected the rodent boxes and refilled those with bait. He also went into our crawl space area to inspect for ants; however, he only found one; however, he still applied bait in crawl space area. He did it excellent job. Both my wife and I were totally pleased with his work.

First of all they are so unprofessional, called on two separate occasions and was told someone would come the next day. Both times no call and no show. Secondly, the service was $1,000 for wildlife removal! Lastly the techs kept reassuring me that the checked for entry points and there were no raccoons, so they sprayed raccoon deterrrant for “free” which not even 12 hours later at 1 am I was awakened by raccoons literally fighting in my attic. Ended up hiring actual wildlife removal company who found another entry point within 5 minutes of being on the roof. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SCAM YOU

Daniel was AMAZING!! Very knowledgeable. Very thorough. Very patient! And I love that they don’t just put out poison. They actually have boxes that trap them. I highly recommend.

The technician was friendly a d very knowledgeable. Told me he or another tech would be back in a week to make the the treatment wad working. Also not hesitate to call if I needed anything else. I am very happy with this company.

Up until the end of 2025 the company and teams have provided great, reliable and timely service. We paid in full upfront for a carpentry project and it has been since September 2025 that Affordable Pest has missed appointments, scheduled appointments on my behalf without asking and then not showing up, and then ignoring written and verbal requests to make the situation right. The project has yet to be completed or any indication from the staff when they will complete the project.

Terrible communication. I have been a customer for almost a year. They were attentive at the beginning, and not so much now. I found snakes around the house and spiders in my home after their routine treatment which doesn’t work. When I call they say they’ll call back, but never do. Can’t even unsubscribe cause nobody is returning my calls.

My recent technician was fine he took care of the issues I had. Customer service was horrible! I’ve been with the company for 8 years and have never been told No I couldn’t schedule an appt in between my quarterly. The reason I needed it was to fill my outdoor mouse bates bc every month they are empty. I live in the country by water so of course there’s going to be mice issues. Being proactive helps to prevent any issues from coming into the home. I was asked, “Why would I need services if there’s no issue it doesn’t make since and I could wait for my quarterly.” Eventually after talking to a manager, who lacked customer service skills, they made me an appointment. When the technician came all 4 bates were empty and were filled. I really don’t know what has happened to the company. It use to be a really good company. Technicians would show up to their appt. There wasn’t a high turnover of technicians. The customer service staff used to be amazing. I don’t know if the problem is the scheduling/ customer service are in another country and the technicians are in the US. Perhaps the communication between the to are lacking. I just know I have contemplated going with another company after this last incident because it doesn’t seem like they value their customers and I use it in plural because I’ve referred 2 neighbors in the past who didn’t have technicians show up to appointments and stopped using this company’s services.

Do not do business with this company. I contracted them to remove squirrels from my roof and attic. I was quoted $750 to do the job $375 was due initially and 375 was due upon completion The technicians kept missing appointments And the scheduling was horrible. Upon completion, the $375 was paid. The technicians forgot to seal one part of the roof so A follow up appointment was made. The technicians came in for a follow appointment and I was charged another $750. I called numerous times To get the charges reversed and finally got through Once the charges were reversed They were immediately canceled so no refund was issued. After that, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Nobody was responsive to my issue. Trust me, don’t waste your time with these people.

DO NOT sign a contract with this company. We moved back to the DC area in February and hired them for pest/rodent control at our house after previously working with American Pest. I so wish we had returned to American Pest, which is reliable, punctual, and honest—everything that Affordable Pest is not. Despite a quarterly payment of $170, their technicians have never once set glue traps inside our home for spiders, centipedes, etc. and they never send appointment reminders but instead give you an hour’s notice (or sometimes just show up) of their quarterly visits. Good luck getting your interior treatment done if you’re at work! Beyond that, we recently had an issue with mouse droppings in our pantry. I called on a Tuesday to get on their schedule and they said someone would come the following day between 3-6pm. The next afternoon, a person called me to ask if anyone had responded to my voicemail. I told them yes, a technician was scheduled for between 3-6pm. The agent responded with surprise, stating, “I’m sorry but I’m not seeing you on our schedule today ma’am.” Turns out I was never added! This agent said she would get me scheduled for 9-12pm the following day. Next day comes, I call at 9:30 just to verify that they are indeed coming between 9-12. ONCE AGAIN: “I’m not seeing you on our schedule but we can get someone out to your house tomorrow.” We pay $170/quarter and this is the type of abysmal customer service we get. Seriously, do yourself a favor and hire any other pest company but this one.

This is not a good team. They didn't help. They were late to the initial appointment. They avoided my calls when I asked them to come out again. Such poor communication. I had a dead mouse in my basement ceiling, which smelled bad. It hit one of my traps and ran off and died somewhere. They said they could get it if I purchased their basic $350 plan. I did. The service technician came 45 minutes late during my family dinner time and set traps but couldn't locate this dead mouse through a vent. I thought they would poke a whole and use a camera or use some equipment, but they did nothing. He said the inspector would come out and have the tools to inspect further. The inspector came out and basically said i don't do that and tried selling me insulation for my attic, which again wasn't what I asked for. After persistent calls, they are actively avoiding me. They finally scheduled a follow up and said to find the mouse it would cost more money... They were not able to find the dead mouse in my ceiling and essentially lied to me. I spent $350, and I have a dead mouse in my ceiling still. Do not use!!!

TLDR: Affordable Pest has poor service: difficult to contact, many technicians lack knowledge, missed appointments, and poor communication. Don't use them. ---------------------------------------- Detailed Review: I am disappointed with the service I have received from Affordable Pest. I’ve experienced a number of issues, primarily stemming from a severe lack of communication and organization. First and foremost, it's nearly impossible to get in touch with the actual company. All calls are routed through a third-party contracting company that seems to have no knowledge of pest control whatsoever. They can only take down information and relay it, which has been quite frustrating. I've never been able to speak to someone at the actual company to address my concerns directly. For example, I once called about seeing mice droppings and asked for advice until my appointment. The person told me there was nothing I could do. This is obviously was incorrect, as there are many immediate steps that can be taken when mice droppings are found (e.g., storing food in airtight containers). Adding to the communication problems, only two of the technicians who have come to my home seemed to have any awareness of the type of bug issue I'm dealing with. The others had no idea what they were, which is unacceptable given their supposed expertise. I have also experienced missed appointments, which is a significant inconvenience. When technicians do arrive, they lack the context of previous visits or conversations. I find myself having to explain my concerns over and over again, to different people. For example, I specifically scheduled an appointment for rodent trap removals, but the technician arrived thinking he was only there for the quarterly spray down. To make matters worse, the company agreed upon my request to send the same technician for follow-up visit, but a completely different person showed up. This demonstrates a complete disregard for my requests and a fundamental breakdown in their scheduling and communication processes. Overall, the service has been unprofessional and disorganized. I would advise against using this company.
