If I could give Star City 0 stars I would. They got the bats out of the attic in 2023 and we had bats again in the attic this year (2024). I had no idea there were multiple points of entry. Star City either didn’t look, or they didn’t care about the other problem areas. When we called them about the issue, they promised a “steep” discount and the quote came back a good deal higher than in 2023. We are sorry to hear that Aaron. We did your bat exclusion work in 2023 at your gable vents. In 2024, the bats used a different entry point. We returned to your house and offered a discount to seal up the ridge vent. The price to seal up the ridge vent is more expensive than the original gable vent
Let me just say - I love this service. I have a super old home and zero chill so when I started seeing what I felt like was an influx of new not-so-fun friends I was speed dialing Terminix! They actually had appointments sooner than I was available - which was so relieving. Our tech Eric is very knowledgeable and friendly - he’s very patient when he answers my questions and (sometimes panicked) texts. UPDATE 5/23/25: Brown Exterminating has really picked up their customer service. Still have them doing my inspections annually. Always on time. Carefully checking inside and out around the foundation. Comforting to have every nook and cranny poked and result being "all is well." I have had my house treated years ago and pay an annual contract fee. I have had termites return 4-5 times. Annual inspections are not performed as promised. After calling two other exterminators in the Roanoke Area, which both either were no show/no call, I placed a call to Brown Exterminating. Within two hours of my initial call, the Company representative Eddie was at my home!! Eddie is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. Update: For the second time All Pest Control has saved the day! I looked out my office window to find a hornet's nest. It was a decent size so I called up All Pest Control and in less than an hour they had someone on the way to our home to deal with issue. Travis was once again fantastic and so kind.
