I had a problem with losing water in my system, which is not exactly the core business of Emerald Oasis. Nonetheless, Eric checked into it and gave me some excellent guidance on how to go about understanding the problem. Surprisingly, there is no charge for the work, and I received candid proactive feedback on the rates they do charge if I did want to use them for work in the future. No sales pressure; just great information exchange. I will definitely be using this company for future needs

I contacted Emerald Oasis earlier this week to get an estimate for leaf clean up and shrub trimming/rejuvenation. Andy was very helpful, communicative, and was able to come over to my house and provide me with the estimate in that same day. After accepting their very reasonable estimate, they were able to come over to complete the job all within this same week. We're very happy with their work -- they did everything exactly as requested and our yard looks a lot better than it did before!

“We’re preparing to sell our home of 33 years. We live at the head of a draw…the second home from the Country Club of Leawood, just off of the 5th green. We handle significant runoff from the golf course and have an organic, native, regenerative lawn of river birch, pine trees, red maple, forsythia, honeysuckle, hyacinth, liriope, wild violets, Creeping Charlie, wild strawberries, and a native-based ground-cover that is sustainable thru both drought and excessively wet periods…with a number of native flowers planted in the easement at the rear of our property. We have left our leaves and have planted native tall grasses at the rear of our property so that insects, birds, animals and neighbors may benefit from our water retention/absorption ground-covers. We have lightning bugs, dragonflies, rabbits, foxes, hawks, a myriad of birds and mammals visiting us seasonally throughout the year and the only reason we are asking for the removal of our leaves is that we’ve received a hand-written angry note from a nearby resident who thinks ‘Your yard looks like crap! Why don’t you clean it up!’ I’d love to preserve the integrity of the property, the liatris, ajuga, hostas, astilbe, honeysuckle, tall sedum, daisies, tulips, etc. Can your guys use blowers rather than rakes?” They did exactly that… they blew our leaves from the grassy lawn onto the flower beds and under our bushes and trees and were gracious, as I directed their work. I was so glad when Emerald Oasis started taking care of my yard. They actually listened to what I wanted and needed, and they followed through. Unfortunately, this is not the experience I've had with several different landscaping companies over the last 5 to 10 years. I would absolutely recommend Emerald Oasis, you won't be disappointed!

Andy Kinkelaar and Emerald Oasis Landscape Group are a real find! I called them, “out of the blue” in the middle of the recent snowstorm (Monday, December 1) because the owner of our one-person snow removal service of many years had just suffered a heart attack. Not only did Andy respond to my call immediately, personally, and personably, texting me a clearly organized proposal sheet, but he also scheduled us for that day! And he and his team did an awesome job clearing our driveway, steps, and sidewalks and treating the pavement to prevent freezing. For meticulous work, responsiveness, and reasonable prices, I recommend them highly and look forward to working them in the future. They are our heroes!

All I can say is that Andy and his crew are incredible! They work fast, pay attention to detail, and deliver a beautiful finished product. Customer service is not dead with Andy. He went above and beyond to make sure our backyard landscaping turned out perfect. He refreshed our mulch beds, planted boxwoods and gorgeous flowers, and laid sod with care. Everything looks amazing and professionally done. Andy is reasonable, kind, and truly takes pride in his work. I’m a tough critic, but I have nothing but great things to say about Emerald Oasis. Andy deserves 10 stars across the board!

Lawn service has been good. Also did sprinkler startup and repair, and tree trimming. Also handle all fertilizer. Prior to EO I had 4 different companies providing the same service. This is so much easier.
