Scheduled a promised time frame and got cancelled the day of, mid day.. smaller company came next day so I didn’t have to change my plans.

We have experienced dishonesty with this company and now will be switching to Living Water (much easier to contact and communicate with for the record). This past summer Senske claimed to have serviced our lawn and charged us. I was home all day and our cameras even showed no technician present at our home. This happened twice. More recently, my husband took work off as we had scheduled pest control with the company well in advance. Not only did they never show up, we kept calling and they reassured us a technician was on the way. Finally after waiting all day for them to show up, we received a text at 5pm stating they would not be able to complete the service. Additionally, our grass has never looked so horrible and we’ve seen live spiders in our basement with no obvious resolve from the company. I cannot recommend this company. Save your time and money and go with Living Water.
Do not trust your property to Senske. Multiple gouges and deep scratches were made to different areas of my walkway with aerator. These were not edge or accidental. These show a lack of care. They also bent out the kids' jungle gym and left it in a state stressing multiple joints. Senske acknowledges one of their technicians caused this damage by not lifting the cutters. This issue is still ongoing over a month later. Senske refuses to repair damage because scratches are "superficial" and anything other than staining (which won't hide the damage) has been refused by Senske. If you value your property, pass on any Senske services. "I received an email from the customer service department today that you are still not happy with the responses I have given to you. I chatted with my boss about it today and sent him the full chain of emails between you and I over the last few weeks. We have both agreed that we want you to get 3 estimates for staining the concrete and submit them over to us for approval. As much as this may frustrate you this is what we have decided to do and if that doesn't work we are not going to be able to move forward on anything else. As explained, these are superficial scrapes on the concrete and they will oxidize in time to match like they had before the service but will take a year or so if it is not stained. Andrew Spears | Spokane Branch Manager" UPDATE: 10/28/25 - Senske called to see if I wanted any services. When I explained about my past experience and that my sidewalk and driveway were still just as scratched as they were 3 years ago when Senke admittedly damaged the concrete. We discussed this post and he said he would have management call me. This was a couple of week ago and I still haven't heard from them. Just got notification that this post and pictures have been viewed over 5K times now. At this point their lost sales is greater than if they would have just fixed my walkway. I'll keep updating regularly so that more potential clients will pass up this bad service.

Unfortunately I had to rate one star higher than they deserve. We've used Senske for several years without too many issues, however this year we've experienced a dramatic increase in the amount of weeds in our lawn. I was assured by our service tech that he was going to address it on our last application, however the weeds are getting worse and no one at Senske seems to care enough to send someone out to inspect the problem, or even give us a call. It's been over a week that I reported the problem, but nothing has been done. I'm done with them and we'll be giving our business to someone local. Steer clear of Senske.
I’m extremely disappointed with the services I contracted for with Senske, and I was incredibly generous by calling back three times to give them a chance to fix the problem before I wrote a review. I originally called to get a estimate because we have an apple tree that has a fungus problem, and when it was pruned by another company, we were told to call someone to treat it with a fungicide. I called Senske and the sales person came out and assured me it would be treated and he sold me on a year round treatment package of our four trees along with another package. I was also told they work between eight and five and the first person arrived at 6:40 AM while our dog was still out in the backyard. He put an organic granular treatment on two of the trees and left the other two trees saying someone else would come out to treat them, but they never did. I called three times to the office and was told someone would call me but it’s been more than two weeks and no one has. I am tired of continuing to call. I was also told by the front office that they work between eight and five and the second person who came out to treat for spiders showed up at 7:40 AM. Both times I was told they would call and give a 20 to 30 minute window and each person gave a 3 to 5 minute window. I honestly wanted this to work, but I have no more tolerance for calling or reaching out. Really disappointed.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired them in March after explaining in depth to Dennis White (salesman) that I cannot have granular in my backyard, as one of my dogs would eat it. Dennis assured me the only granules they use are a quick dissolve ones. Well, after their first application in March, I went to water in the granular fertilizer, and it was not dissolving. I spent HOURS with my hose trying to dissolve it. Next thing I know, I get an emailed receipt from Senske stating they put a slow-dissolving fertilizer on my lawn that would take 3-4 weeks to dissolve! Of course, my dog ate it, and I had to spend thousands on vet bills. A manager from Senske called me and gaslighted me that it wasn't a slow dissolve fertilizer when I had the receipt from Senske stating otherwise, and saw for myself it was not dissolving! They claimed that going forward my account was noted in all caps that fertilizer would not to be used in the backyard. Fast forward to July, I was told at 9am the tech would be at my home at 11am. Took my dog for a walk, came back at 9:25 am, only to find the tech had been there and put granular on my backyard! Called Senske to complain and was told a manager would call me back. Nobody did. After the last August treatment, within days, major areas of beautiful green lawn were turning yellow and dying. I emailed the original salesman, Dennis White, photos, and he never responded. I then called multiple times, and finally someone named Miles said he would be at my house today between 10am-11am. At 10:51 am, I called him because he never showed and left a voicemail. Never got a call back. At 1:47 pm, Miles showed up while I was at the store, stating he went into my backyard, which I don't appreciate, as I was not home and have two dogs that are escape artists, to tell me the discolored grass was just going dormant. Really??? It's been well over 85 degrees for days, and the grass is not going dormant! Then, he changed his story and said I have creeping bentgrass, which is undesirable, and I should rake it out! Funny how my lawn was green and beautiful until a few days after the last treatment when Senske ruined it. Now, of course, they gaslight me that it's the type of grass I have or try to say it's going dormant. Well, if it's the type of grass, why didn't this happen before then? They clearly burned my grass and refuse to take responsibility or even give me a refund. They just make up BS excuses and think everyone is stupid. When I cancelled my account, I was told an area manager would call me back, which never happened. Shocking. Save your money and find an ethical lawn service that doesn't make you pay them to burn your lawn.
WARNING!! Senske completely botched our blowout last fall. When they came out to do a turn on this spring, the tech's diagnosis was plugged lines in 3 different zones. After hearing this, we started digging and found that pipes on multiple zones had froze and split. I sent these pictures to their office in May trying to reach a resolution and am still waiting for someone to call me back with a good answer. Last week, without checking with me at all, they sent someone out to 'flush the plugged lines'. Only heard about it because they sent another invoice for it. This is just sad to see and a clear sign of a completely disorganized and unreliable company
Extremely DISAPPOINTED in the service and results. I’ve needed to call multiple times in the short amount of time I’ve used them. They serviced my very large lawn in about 4 minutes, not possible to do this. Weeds throughout my lawn after 2 months of service.

I have gone back and forth with Senske supervisors for the past month or so, trying to get them to make this right prior to posting a public review. We have paid over $5000 in the past year on pest, lawn, weed management, and tree management. Only to find out that our trees were not on a "fruit tree management" package and were instead on a total tree management package. 3 out of 4 trees being sprayed are fruit trees... I have no idea why they wouldn't be treating them as fruit trees. So all of our cherries were full of worms this year. When I brought this to their attention, I was told they could at least come out and spray the plum tree still to try to protect the fruit. That took three weeks before a supervisor came out and said that actually plums don't usually get worms in them... Which seems like a way to justify that nobody came out to spray it after they were supposed to three weeks prior. My other issue has been with managing the weeds. Our rock beds look terrible with 2' weeds popping up all over the place. And once again, I was told that this would be resolved and that someone would come pull the weeds. Nobody has, now a month later. The "offer" being made is for me to reactivate my account and commit to another $5000 for the next year, so that I can have services comped. Why would I continue to pay and assume that they will now actually do what they say they will do, when they haven't been for the past year? I am requesting that the tree and weed management services be reimbursed, and that has not happened yet. It seems like pretty terrible customer service. I will gladly adjust this review if a manager is actually willing to make it right and reimburse me for services I paid for that were not actually done.

In April I called them asking them to fix my sprinkler system, which had sprung a leak in the side yard. There was water fountaining out of the ground in a very obvious manner. Senske had no availability that week but said they’d coordinate to come help the next week. The coordination call never came and after a couple weeks I had to turn my water off. Then I left for a summer deployment. While I was deployed, my grass died and I asked my girlfriend to call again and get someone out to fix the system. A specialist showed up, dug a hole in my back yard, covered it back up, said there was no leak and left. When I returned, the obvious leak was still there. They sent her a 136 dollar bill nonetheless. Since then I called three times and was promised each time that a manager would get back to me to discuss this, but that never happened. Instead Senske is sending debt collectors after after my girlfriend, since she was the one that made the call, even though it’s my property. I sincerely hope Senske reaches out to me soon, or a small-claims court lawsuit is a real possibility.

All you have to do is drive to Maribeau park and take a walk on paved trail. You will see first hand the shoddy work they do.The lawn is yellow brown drying up to the point of dying and not being taken care of. SENSKE is full of excuses. Still a beautiful park with pond, turtles, ducks, water falls and designated hiking. Visit the Falls so much potential but notice the lawn by the dock. Hasn't been watered all year! WARNING! DO NOT USE THEM .
