Lawn Doctor came highly recommended by my neighbors and friends. I always saw the vehicles around and I would check out the yards they serviced. I was not wanting to give into a company to perform some of my yard work. Like most homeowners, it is with great pride on having a well landscaped and maintained yard. So, I gave into having some help, giving my age and frustration with some of my lawn. I have only used this company for one year. My lawn has drastically improved and I will be using them again for an additional year. All the service technicians are friendly and informative. This company takes pride in what they offer and provide. Highly recommended! FD

We started with Lawn Doctor( Chris Williams) in June of 2015, and couldn't be more pleased. We had a great lawn service for years and he gave up his business to pursue a career in Ministry. We struggled for the next few years to find a service that would compare to what we had before, even doing it ourselves. After some lawn envy of our neighbor's lawn, we asked who their yard guy was and they said Lawn Doctor. The next time we saw him at their house we had him come and do ours. No more lawn envy from us, but people comment on our lawn all the time! Way to go Chris and crew!!! Five stars and I would do more if I could. They go out of their way to make sure you are a happy customer.

We have been using Lawn Doctor for two years now and are very happy with how our lawn has responded to their service. They spray for weeds and fertilize at appropriate times and provide guidance for watering. We believe that their service is a good value and expect to continue with them in the future.

My lawn has been the greenest in the neighborhood as commented by all my neighbors! And I don’t have to lift a finger- except to call the Lawn Doctor! Green thumbs up! 👍

4 treatments a year. Always let me know when they were coming and arrived on schedule. Advised on watering based on weather conditions as well as time of year. Lawn stayed green.

We have had Lawn Doctor for several years now. They are no nonsense with text information confirming if upcoming service is alright with the home owners. They are always consistent and thorough. Speaking with the office staff is always a delight...very professional and kind. We have no plans of changing to another company. We have had other companies...big names...and they do not compare.

Lawn Doctor performed an aeration and overseeding service I never requested, never approved, and never confirmed — then blamed me for not canceling something I never agreed to. They refused to correct my bill and have since ghosted me. It’s a shady and dishonest way to do business, plain and simple. They texted me several times asking when I wanted the fall aeration and when my sprinklers were marked. I never marked my sprinklers and never agreed to the service; therefore, I never responded saying I was ready. I even asked if this was an add-on service and never agreed to it or confirmed I wanted it — because I didn’t. Despite that, they showed up and did the service anyway. They didn’t move the swingset or trampoline, leaving about a third of my backyard untouched, and they aerated right over unmarked sprinklers that could have been damaged. When I texted to dispute the charge, they insisted it was my fault for not canceling — even though I never scheduled it in the first place. Almost three weeks later, the owner left a voicemail saying he would fix the bill “to keep me as a customer,” but he still has not corrected the bill, and they have since stopped responding. The charge remains due. That’s not just bad service — it’s unethical business practice. Their regular lawn care is fine, but performing unapproved work, risking damage to customer sprinklers, refusing to fix a clear billing error due to unapproved services, and ghosting the customer crosses the line. Based on other reviews, this appears to be a behavioral pattern when customers have disputes — not an isolated issue. I strongly urge potential customers to read their negative reviews and see for themselves how this company operates. Look at their BBB rating as well.

These folks did a fantastic job helping to bring back a lawn that I wasn't sure had a chance. They listened to my needs and concerns and were careful to follow through. I definitely would recommend their services.

10 out 10 would recommend using this lawn care team! I have been using them for my lawn care needs for 2 years now and it has made a big difference from when we started. They are honest, and helpful not just trying to sell you products or services you don't need. They have easy payment plans so that it's very simple to budget with no surprise hidden fees.

Nathanial was polite, energetic and respectful and explained the service he was providing very well. He was very careful while doing the core aeration, overseeding and applying the soil enrichment to not damage my lawn. He is new to the company and they got themselves a good one. I've recommended Lawn Doctor in the past and will continue to do so.

Terrible company! I used them last spring for aeration and paid upon job completion. Fast forward to this spring and I receive a statement for 165.00 in my email for "liquid aeration" already completed. I never saw nor spoke to one person from this company since last spring. I called and informed the representative that no one informed me of this service, and I never agreed to repeating aeration service. I simply purchased a one-time aeration service last spring and paid upon completion. The representative insisted that "correspondence was sent" notifying of this change and I had the "chance to opt out". I never received any correspondence, nor did I agree to additional service. This company is a joke. I would stay away from them and seek another option as I have dealt with several other landscaping companies in the area without anything like this happening. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

This company “guarantees” their work, but doesn’t stand by that guarantee. I did what they told me to do which was to keep our dogs off the lawn for 2 months while the lawn germinated. I did that by installing a temporary fence and my lawn never fully germinated. When I complained they blamed me for not watering correctly, letting animals on the lawn, I was then told we have to much shade in the back yard (we have two large maple trees) and that it would never fully germinate because of that. If that was the case, I should have been given that info before they agreed and guaranteed I’d be satisfied with their services. You can expect to pay them every single month from May- September for some sort of fertilizer and weed treatment no matter what. I’ve used other companies in the past and they never fertilized/weed treated every single month. If my lawn looked amazing then maybe this would have been okay, but I’ve concluded they just like to nickel and dime you as much as possible. When I asked them to come out and power-seed again since the first application didn’t work they told me I would have to pay, again not standing by their guarantee. I had responded to these people twice via text message not to come fertilize until I could talk with the owner about how dissatisfied we were. They ignored my two text messages and came anyway and charged me. I had to ask for them to remove that charge and thankfully they did. But when I asked them to powerseed again or refund me some money since my back yard looks like garbage they refused. Please save your money and do not use this company.

service was top notch, BUT, when I called to tell lady on phone I'm skipping my next treatment you would think I committed a crime, she went on and on telling me what a horrible idea that would be, she said my yard would be filled with weeds if I missed even this one treatment, she said it will completely wreck their entire schedule, she said they have employees who depend on the work, etc... Then she said "this better not become a pattern or they may have to "reevaluate" me as a client, lol. Extremely rude and aggressive woman. Great service but horrible customer service.

Worst customer service ever. I do not leave bad reviews but these people are a whole different level of rude. Unprofessional texts and they do not deliver. They did not provide the services asked for. Sprinkled bagged fertilizer on the grass and they considered that as fertilizer and weed control. Spent literally 6 minutes in my yard and didn't do the job they were hired to do. Don't use this company! This local lawn doctor service is a joke. They wasted our time and do not care. Pathetic.

I am not one who typically writes bad reviews about a company but felt this was needed as a warning to other people who are potentially thinking about using their service. Lawn Doctor hit our building with their mowers in several areas causing damage to our siding (see photos). I called the office and they gave me the owners number who assured me they would make it right. I offered to meet him so he could inspect it and he said he was to busy and asked that I send him pictures which I did. Following that interaction I called him numerous times and emailed him repeatedly of which very few were returned. When he would return my messages he always put me off as being to busy but always assured me he would do what's right. In the meantime I got a quote from a siding company on what would be the cheapest and easiest way to fix the problem. I was not looking for an upgrade or a new siding job, just a fix to bring it back to what it was prior to them damaging it. I learned way more about the siding on my building than I ever wanted to and did the leg work he really should have been doing just to try and help things along. Finally, at the end of the mowing season, the owner reached out and said his guy did not do the damage and they would not be fixing it. Mind you, he has never even inspected the damage which I tried to do with him multiple times. So, in conclusion, while their prices are below average please know you get what you pay for. Their quality is below average (which I didn't even go into but will put a few photos up) and will cause thousands of dollars in damage to which they will be unresponsive and finally when the season is over refuse to do what's right. If you choose to use their service.....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Well where do I start- I received a call from Lawn Doctor on March 15th scheduling an aerating appointment, was told I would receive a call a week before the appointment to mark my sprinklers and was told it would happen at the end of April. I called and left a message on March 20th stating I no longer wanted the aeration done. Well, low and behold, they showed up May 5th any way and aerated my lawn, left a bill for a service that I canceled and broke a sprinkler. I called them as the service was happening (thanks ring camera), told them that I had canceled the appointment, and that I would not be paying the bill for a service I didn't want. That night I left them a message since upon returning home I discovered the broken sprinkler. I was told they have no record of the call (thanks call log) but they would look into it and get back to me. After several phone calls and emails (one in which they claim they never received, not sure what happened there because it was magically found), the problem has still not been resolved so here I am leaving a review for a company I would NOT recommend. I am also contacting corporate to have this matter handled without having to further deal with a company that takes advantage of its customers.

Too bad you harass your potential customers. Well.. at least Chris In Spokane Washington does. Anyone who wants help feel free to text this “professional”. Text Transcript: “ Hi Alan, this is Chris with Lawn Doctor and I'm calling you back about your property on Longfellow. Give me a call when you can.” Me: Stop Chris: Lol…k’ I was called 3 times in about 24 hours and also texted. The aggressive sales and disrespectful/unprofessional text makes it an easy choice to go elsewhere.

Not good. Contracted, and paid for services, that were not done. Told them repeatedly that I needed at least 48 hours notice so I could give the tenant legal notice of services. Then they gave less than 24 hours notice. They didn't tell me that it was their policy not to do the power seeding unless the sprinkler heads were marked (even though they were told they are clearly visible and only on the perimeter). Given less than 24 hours notice, I was unable to mark the sprinklers, so they refused to do the seeding and then told me it would be 3-4 weeks before they could do it. Justine (who answers the phone) was not very nice.

I called Chris the owner to ask for a quote on what it would cost to fertilize and spray my yard for weeds through out the year. Over the phone with me he was able to give me a quote and he we was fairly priced. He told me he would fit me in his schedule and be at my house in two weeks or less and give me a call the night before to let me know when he was coming. Two weeks went by and no phone call. I called hi office today and talked to a woman and old he row my situation and how I was not happy and I wanted to cancel having them spray my yard. She immediately gave the phone to Chris the owner and he started raising his voice with me with an attitude so I told him was not going to take his attitude and find some one else to spray my yard. I think he is over his head with customers and he cant handle the added business.
