I called and THE SAME DAY Barry came to my home. There was a concern about mice because my house had been vacant. He came!! He did an inspection, outside, inside, downstairs, and the attic!! He was honest and wasn't out to collect big $$!! I'm willing to say the mice ran away because Brown Exterminating came to the scene!! He placed traps and NOT A SINGLE MOUSE has hit the trap!! That was January 19. Thank you Barry!!

We have used Brown Exterminators for years and would not consider anyone else. Eddie is always punctual and thorough. He is very polite and a joy to work with.

I would recommend Eddie to anyone. My husbands grandfather had horrible issues with roaches and Eddie came in one time and there is no more problems. Fast, affordable and very professional.

UPDATE 5/23/25: Brown Exterminating has really picked up their customer service. Still have them doing my inspections annually. Always on time. Carefully checking inside and out around the foundation. Comforting to have every nook and cranny poked and result being "all is well." I have had my house treated years ago and pay an annual contract fee. I have had termites return 4-5 times. Annual inspections are not performed as promised. I now have termites again and have called repeatedly with promise to come out. Now it has been a week with no response or day when they will come to treat the return of termites. Left messages not returned. UPDATE: Over a week finally came by and treated new infestation so this review has been updated from one star.

This is the only review you need to read. Read until the very end. This is a small locally owned family business so the entire experience is top notch. Everyone has been kind, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and honest since my first phone call. Amber is the person who took our first phone call and Eddie is our technician. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. Eddie was so overly thorough he even explained the difference in termites in Virginia versus Florida to us. He explained what attracts pests: moisture, vibration, and heat. His inspection was absolutely thorough (I sold real estate in Florida so I know this to be a fact; I attended many inspections as a buyer’s realtor). And in the end, he couldn’t find any pest issues with our home. That’s how we know this company is honest. He could have signed us up for a slew of pest management services but he said he can’t find any pest problems that require service. We aren’t pest control experts so he could have sold us something we didn’t need but he didn’t. That is how we know this is the most honest company around. We are so glad we called them. They will be the only pest control company we ever use and recommend to others.

My experience with Brown Exterminating was an awesome experience. From the phone call to Amber in the office and the call back from the technician Eddie it was stress-free. Prompt service, knowledgeable, respectful, professional in every way, reasonable price, explained everything in detail. Would definitely call again!!!

Great service, great people, convenient, thorough, i had the termite treament and the annual follow-up today, impressed with Brian the technician on my property doing the inspection giving me peace of mind my home is properly protected. Called the office and Amber took my payment over the phone.

Had contract for several years. Could not get a return phone call, text or email. Completely unresponsive. Would not recommend and would warn about lack if service

Eddie was friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciate him taking his time and explaining things. Of particular note is that he found where yellow jackets were coming in our house. He sprayed to kill them and put a powder in their holes. It was his first visit. He assured us that he would be our service provider every 3 months and wanted us to call in3 days if yellow jackets weren’t taken care. It was a pleasure meeting him.

After calling two other exterminators in the Roanoke Area, which both either were no show/no call, I placed a call to Brown Exterminating. Within two hours of my initial call, the Company representative Eddie was at my home!! Eddie is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. Brown Exterminating has a "10 star" rating in our opinion. If you want professional service, give them a call. Thanks again Brown Exterminating!! P. S. Used Brown Exterminating again this year 2022, for bee issues; after their treatment last year, we had fewer bees this year. Again, Eddie arrived promptly and sprayed our lawn. Eddie is VERY knowledge, VERY friendly, a TRUE Professional, and keeps his customer's issues his top priority. Way to go Eddie! Brown Exterminating is very fortunate to have Eddie as an employee!!! You are the best!!

Bill Saunders from Brown Exterminating is MY GUY to call for pest problems. Always responsive, always on time and always informative. If I see anything that doesn't belong in my house, I give Bill a call and he'll call me back within a day and usually schedule a follow up within 2 days of calling. Always ready to come to do a follow up, even if I'm not scheduled for one. Super INFORMATIVE-- provided me with information on how to prevent bringing them into my house.

Bill always does a great job and you can tell he truly cares about his customers! We have used other pest control services in the past and have been left unsatisfied with the results - that has not been the case with Brown’s and Bill! Thank you!

Fast and friendly great service

I was really excited to see there was an organic pest control option in town. I've called twice now and left voicemails requesting a return call and have heard nothing back. Not a responsive business with regards to communication with potential customers.

Barry helped me and my best friend with a flat tire we was literally screwed and he serviced us with no questions asked. God bless him.

Service man Bill is a very nice and polite employee for this company

I've been using Brown for several years now for overall pest control. I started using them when I had an ant problem. The ant problem was quickly and effectively solved so I started getting routine treatments. Bill is my representative and he is fantastic. I really couldn't ask for anyone better. He's professional, punctual, courteous, friendly...you name it. And it is obvious he cares about his customers. At the end of each treatment he always reminds me to let him know if I have any problems, no matter when that is. I highly recommend Brown and that's because of the experience I've had with Bill.
