Had high hopes for this company, but I just can’t recommend them anymore. After this week’s service, you can clearly see that our lawn was damaged by the tires of their machine. The marks are obvious and weren’t there before the treatment. Very disappointed with the lack of care.

Mr. Whitby:<br>Your request for a lawn evaluation was received on 03/24/2026. We provided the evaluation the following day on 03/25/2026.<br>Your requested we provide Power Seeding, Lawn Maintainer Program, and Pelletized Lime services.<br>It was explained to you that for the Power Seeding to be successful in the Spring, you must water the lawn per our recommendations.<br>Your lawn was Power Seeded on April 06 and we left written watering and mowing instructions for you to follow.<br>On April 17, we emailed watering instructions to all customers due to the drought conditions that have existed since August 2025. A second email was sent at the end of May.<br>We provided Step 4 of the Lawn Maintainer Program on Friday, June 05. By email, you cancelled service on Monday, June 08 at 7:47am with no indication there were any concerns with the lawn; in fact, you wished us well and thanked us for our services.<br>On Thursday, June 11 at 7:59pm you emailed our office with pictures and at 8:20pm you gave us a 1-star review. <br>Tire marks from lawn equipment will be more apparent on a heat- and drought-stressed lawn as your pictures clearly indicate. <br>On Thursday evening, June 11, was the region's first heavy rainfall; the second was the next day, Friday, in the afternoon and evening.<br>We took pictures of your lawn on Monday, June 15 and there was definite improvement with the water from rainfall. Regretfully, it is an impossibility to attach our photos to this reply of your review. <br>A taller mowing height as we recommended, along with much needed water, will also enhance your lawn.<br>Had you given us the opportunity, we would have explained how the lawn will improve and alleviated your concern.

First year with Lawn Doctor and couldn't be more pleased. I'm seeing improvements in the health of my lawn. Justin has been great to work with. Also opted for the mosquito and tick control and have been very happy with the results. Not a single bite so far this season!

I would give them a zero if I could. My grass was treated with broadleaf weed control. Now the lawn is brown and looks as if it was overly treated in spots ($126.00 later). My flower was burnt as well as seen in the picture. If I had known my lawn would turn brown I would have left it green with the weeds in it. Now I’m being told that my lawn must be reseeded in the Fall. I wanted a green lawn this summer. Not the Summer of 2026 or the Summer of 2027.

Apparently a website issue prevented us from seeing this review previously but now that we have, we are happy to reply.<br>Weeds, which made up most of your yard, were treated with weed control. It is a fact that weeds will turn brown when treated properly with weed control; this is part of the process of ridding a yard of weeds.<br>It is evident we achieved good results with the weed control in just one application.<br>There was very little grass in the yard; what grass was there was unaffected by weed control but benefitted from the nutrients and pelletized lime applied.<br>As you were made aware from the professional lawn evaluation provided prior to your request for us to start treating the yard, your yard (we couldn't quite call it a "lawn" at that time but that is what it would have become with the care we recommended to you) contained heavy weeds and needed Power Seeding at the appropriate time. That is the information provided to you right from the beginning.<br>On a Monday morning following the weed control application, you contacted our office with a concern about brown spots (again, it was weeds reacting to the weed control applied) and your lawn was inspected that same day by the Operations Manager; he contacted by telephone before the close of business that very same day.<br>The Operations Manager proposed he go over the yard with you personally to answer any questions.<br>We received no response from you other than you writing this review stating dissatisfaction with a weed application doing its job.<br>We are aware that some time has transpired, but if you have interest in a beautiful, healthy Lawn*Doctor lawn, we will be happy to start creating one for you!

Only use this company if you want thick, lush grass! Granular fertilization, weed control and grub control all discretely maintained. Always responsive if there is a concern. The combination of these treatments and effective watering makes for a great result.

Hi, I don’t want to renew my next year lawn services. Don’t charge from my account anymore for next year services. Very disappointed with service. Messed up my front yard lawn and back yard lawn . There is a lots of patches due to wrong amount of spreading or bad product. So please cancel my next year service. Not recommended 👎

Hello again!<br>You called our office again today asking that we resume service for your lawn.<br>However, we consistently provided the appropriate recommendations and instructions for proper watering and mowing habits necessary for your lawn to thrive.<br>Bare patches will occur when the lawn is allowed to die from lack of water and being cut too short. On the several visits we made to inspect your lawn after hearing from you with your concern, the soil was so dry it was actually cracked.<br>You have contacted our office many times to request resumption of our professional and dependable lawn care services, but we have advised that without the commitment to water and mow the lawn properly, there is no point in spending any money on lawn care from any company!<br>Our goal is for every customer to have a beautiful and healthy lawn and we will always provide the necessary recommendations for that goal to be achieved.

The service was good and timely. I had two major issue for not renewing my contract, which was the weeds in my yard that your company was able to get rid of. I never had that issue with my previous lawn care. Lastly, I didn’t realize aeration was an additional cost, which was the final reason for leaving.

Lawn Doctor of Stafford is GREAT!! They treated our lawn all during this past growing season, and the lawn was really improved. This is such a good company; they are responsive to requests, came exactly when they promised, and their fees are reasonable. They explain the nature of the treatments they are providing, and offer a chance to opt out of treatments not needed. I was especially impressed when, after feeling they had missed a treatment I had requested, was told by the young lady on the phone that she had made the error and had not put the order through. She was very apologetic. That kind of honesty and responsibility is rare in today's world! We will continue to use Lawn Doctor of Stafford, because we feel we can trust them.
