Landscaper “Lorenzo” blew 70% of our neighbors leaves into our yard. He then threw several large branches onto our property. When I saw him do this from our kitchen window, I walked outside and asked him if that is normal procedure, he told me, “maybe you can hire my services. I’m just making it all flat.” Whatever that means. Do not use these people if you have any respect for your neighbors.

I’ve used Imperial Landscaping for a few years now, and they’re fantastic. They are easily the most dependable provider in the Fredericksburg area. The professional mowing crew is seriously consistent and meticulous—the edges are always sharp, and the lawn looks incredible every week. What I appreciate most is their strong communication and reliability. They make lawn care effortless. If you want great service that boosts your curb appeal, this is the only company I recommend.

Always on time, very thorough, yard looks best ever.

It is almost impossible to get an answer from the folks to schedule or reschedule services. Our leaf removal did not happen when schedule and when we tried to get someone to confirm the next appointment, I constantly get sent to voicemail. The message promises a call back within 24 hours and that either never comes or calls are returned at very odd hours (11pm at night). The service is great and thorough when it does happen, and we’ve used y’all in the past for a few years now and pricing is fair, but the customer service is severely lacking when it comes to any issues that do pop up like a missed appointment.

Very quick and professional on getting an estimate. The crew that did the job were timely, very knowledgeable and detailed with the job. Will use again.

Our lawn has honestly never looked better. The mow crew is so incredibly professional, and the fall cleanup has made a huge difference. Highly recommend Imperial for all your lawn care needs.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It takes days for people to get back if they ever do respond. Our mowing was never consistent, showed up days late. They just stopped doing our mosquito treatment and when I asked they said they would get back to me and never did. After they didn’t show up for service on Monday I called multiple times on a Friday and cancelled service with no apology. They showed up that following Monday and sent us an invoice. When I questioned the invoice they said someone would reach out, they never did. I called after the second invoice reminder and they said they would look into it. Once again no apologies for any inconvenience that they have caused. Extremely unprofessional

I highly recommend Imperial Landscaping! They are one of the best lawn care companies in the area, offering great service at a very fair price. Their team is professional, reliable, and always does an excellent job. I really appreciate how quickly and efficiently they get my yard done every two weeks it always looks neat and well-kept. Grass crew never shows up on scheduled day I have a locking gate so everyday I have to unlock my gate for them not to show up, no communication to customers for delays, no response when sending an email, when they do finally show up they do a crap job missing patches when cutting grass and weedeating. Save yourself frustration hire another company. Tree crew was great!!

Imperial Landscaping Company is a very good company to hire for any and all lawn maintenance requirements. The are very professional, knowledgeable; equally important, they strive to satisfy the customer. I have utilized their services for several years and am completely satisfied with their performance. I would highly recommend to anyone needing lawn care of any type. Awesome experiences….

I had a huge tree that I wanted thinned out and, as you can see in the photo, Imperial Landscape completely butchered the tree. The photo speaks for itself. Not only that, but they were apparently unskilled at controlling the huge falling limbs because one hit another tree and snapped it completely in half. Also, I found that four of my cement paver steps were each cracked beyond repair, apparently by another huge limb. They never told or acknowledged to me the damage they had caused. I had to find that out on my own the following day. I suppose they were thinking I wouldn’t notice. They also did a sloppy job at cleaning up after themselves. I spent a good part of the next day cleaning up after their mess. I will say that their lawnmowing was satisfactory, although many times they would mow/weed-whack the front yard but totally ignore the back. Overall, I would give this company 4 stars, but I’m giving it 2 stars because of the damage they have caused, mainly because they butchered my once beautiful tree which, thanks to them, is now a terrible eye sore. If you have any large trees that need trimming, I would definitely avoid using Imperial Landscaping.

Imperial Landscaping is absolutely fantastic to work with. Everyone is kind and professional. I am very proud of my lawn. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I strongly advise against using this lawn care company. They bombard you with daily emails until you sign their contract, creating intense pressure. If you don’t opt for autopay, they demand immediate payment after service and send threatening emails if you don’t comply. Their relentless email tactics are infuriating, their prices aren’t even competitive, and though I’m stuck in their contract for now, I would never use them again. Avoid at all costs!

Great service! Prompt delivery. Couldn't be happier with our trees.

We had planted a large number of ornamentals in our front flower beds, but with the busyness of life, it had gotten overgrown with weeds. So last October, I hired Imperial Landscaping to perform three tasks: to pull the weeds to help encourage the ornamentals, to prune the dead limbs off a bush, and to lay down mulch around the plants to make it easier to weed in the future. But instead of pulling out the weeds, the “landscapers” just mowed down everything in the flower beds, including the ornamentals and flowers that were currently in bloom, save the one bush we had asked them to aggressively prune, which they left covered in dead branches. Most heartbreaking was them cutting down a photinia that we’d been nurturing for several years. They then mulched on top of the carnage, but didn’t even provide all the mulch - they found a bag of ours and dumped that out onto a corner of the flower bed, even though it didn’t match. What had been an overgrown but fully planted flower bed with liriope edging was left looking like bare new construction, save the one scraggly bush that wasn’t properly pruned. When I complained to the owner, he said “you wanted it cleaned up - we cleaned it up.” When I complained that the weeds had been cut instead of pulled, so they’d just come back worse, he quipped, “that’s what keeps me in business.” Eventually, they agreed to not charge for the “work” that had been done. Now, it’s the following spring. Because they were cut instead of pulled, the weeds are back even worse than last year, and while some of the ornamentals have come back, some haven’t, including our photinia. I was incredibly displeased with the work done by Imperial, but even more so with responses I received from the rep who I later learned was the owner, to the point that I felt the need to warn others.

Another fantastic job by Imperial landscaping. This is the third time I have used them for sod installation. They completed the job the correct way and installed fresh sod from that morning. They are a fantastic company and will continue to use. They have the best prices around.

NO CALL NO SHOW

Never had any service done because I couldn't get past the lady on the phone when inquiring on whether they performed leaf removal. She insisted that she needed my name and phone number first before providing a list of services. Not sure how anyone else feels about this, but this just reminds of auto dealerships who want to collect all your information first before providing the price, just so they can solicit you to death through phone calls, emails, and mail. Oh, and to top it off, she hung up on me twice. Not good business sense. I never leave reviews, but she deserved this one.

Their guys showed up to the wrong address, scalped our yard, jumped our back fence. The gate is screwed shut to keep people out. Then left everything a complete mess. When we called to talk to the manager he refused to speak with us. They had no concern for our flowerbeds and just threw our hoses on top of them smashing them. We have been working with another company trying to keep our yard green and long so it doesn’t burn off in this heat and now thanks to this company and the guys lack of ability to read address properly, we are going to loose all the work we had put into keeping it nice. And then when he figured out he was at the wrong address he stopped mowing the neighbors yard and left it 1/2 finished. This company is rude, and unprofessional.

I called a week and a half in advance and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. I called the day before for an estimated time of arrival and left a message which no one ever returned. I called the next morning around 9:30 and asked for an estimated time and I was told that I should have been first on the schedule and she said she would reach out to the person coming out and call me back. She never called back and they never showed up. I was extremely disappointed at the lack of communication and the fact that they never showed up or called. I saw the exact same complaint posted about a week ago by someone else and the response from the Company was are you sure you have the right company. Well I can assure you I do have the right company. The response the company provided to this review is false. They answered the day of my appointment and said the crew was out on jobs so the response of them not working that day is false.

I called to get someone to come to my home and give me a quote for some spring clean-up and shrub/hedge trimming. I was very impressed with other reviews and website. I called and left a voice message. The recording said I would get a call back within 24 hours. That didn't happen so I called back and spoke with Nicole. I scheduled a visit for today after 2 pm. So I took a half a vacation day to make sure I was home when you arrive. Its now 7 pm. No show, no call, no text, no email. I gave Nicole all that information when I called the second time. if this is any indication of your attention to detail and dedication to to customer service I'm glad no one showed up for the appointment.

This company destroyed my lawn. Their equipment left all types indentations and lines that were never there before. When I brought the issue to the owner, Giovanni, he didn't acknowledge the issue even though I provided him with picture evidence. His response was everyone else is happy and you are the only one. He proceeded to tell me there was no issue. I expressed that it doesn't matter if I'm the only one if I have a valid complaint. Rather than attempt to make the situation right he opted that we part ways. I couldn't be more in agreement. Beware of the non-customer service!!! I do not recommend!
