Tim Jackson is a great tech. Very knowledgeable and trained very well. A lot of guys can manage homes but he's actually a problem solver. Highly recommend him for pest control and I promise you will not be disappointed.

I can't recommend A-1 enough. Our house came with a contract already in place for A-1 when we bought it in 2002. Keeping up with the inspections and the occasional under & around spray for the creepy crawlies has been easy and worthwhile (and very quick acting). Their employees are nice and professional and the service is fantastic.

For the past 14 years I've had A-1 as my extermination company. I've had outstanding service from them; never had an issue and when I needed additional treatments it was easy to call and schedule one. The office staff are very helpful and very responsive. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

These are the nastiest and most crooked people - My family bought a house and our contract was transferable - they claimed it was not despite us having the written contract - they demanded money that we did not owe - Ignores contracts and calls and harasses customers demanding money.

We are certainly sorry to hear this customer had a bad experience but this isn't us. I believe Mr. Smith has the wrong company. One, our Termite Protection Plans are not transferable. If we perform the Termite & Moisture Inspections Reports for closing, we do offer a free one year of Termite Protection to the new owner but it is free. There is no charge.<br>And our "contract" is quite easy to read. It's only the front and back of one page and it's not fine print.<br><br>Since this customer says he was harassed for payment, I checked with our Accounts Receivable Manager and she knows nothing about a situation like this. But the customer's listed name here is quite common so we cannot look it up. If the customer find that it is our company he was dealing with, I hope he will call and ask for me, Karen. I may be able to clear this up.<br>

My house has been under contract with A-1 Exterminating for 26 years. I am the owner of this home for six years and I am very happy with A-1 Exterminating. Everyone that comes out to service my home is always polite, knowledgeable, thorough, and very professional. I would certainly leave NO stars if I could thanks to my lengthy interactions with Karen L. Pye, owner of these businesses. The extermination services the company rep provided in May 2024 were adequate. What happened in handling how A1 got paid AFTER that, bc of a Yelp deal Karen setup & forgot, was NOT. I provided A1's tech the voucher and code on the day of service. Sent it via email a week later. Resent it aGAIN one month WITH proof they requested of my bank/credit card statement to show I'd paid for a Yelp deal, and all that time, they STILL kept requesting I pay for what I'd already paid for. Suffice it to say that Karen is rude, lacks business acumen, and will NEVER admit when she is at fault, so be ready for that if you engage with A1. Her Yelp reviews are great examples of the LENGTHY diatribes she goes on to show customers that EVERYTHING is their fault and not hers, so I can attest to receiving that same treatment. Once I'd finally had enough of her, I reported her to her company's professional governing organizations, and also sent her written and AUDIO proof that she was COMPLICIT in the BAD EXPERIENCE I had with A1. After that, Karen, who is able to setup Yelp voucher deals to lure customers, but unable to remember them, gave me a 2-word response - Thank you. No apology to me or acknowledgement of her wrongdoings. My advice: DO NOT use A1. It's just not worth a Karen experience!

Our company has apologized to Ms. Caldwell many, many times and there seems to be no resolution for her. Ms. Caldwell purchased a "deal" on Yelp and paid them. She later called us to schedule it and it was scheduled to collect payment at the time of service, We did not get paid at the time of service. It was later that she told us she had paid Yelp. There is no possible way to reach the Yelp folks by phone and so it was difficult to resolve this issue. Her service was performed on May 29, 2024 and we were not able to confirm her payment to Yelp or have Yelp respond to our inquiries so we had to require more information from Ms. Caldwell. Yelp does not have a customer service department. We simply asked for proof that that she paid Yelp so that we could pursue them. That's fair. She did NOT provide a "redemption code" (Yelp payment code) at the time of service or later. After much effort, Yelp paid us $62.30 for a service we performed at $89.00 that was valued at $125.00 but that was 45 days later and it was not marked as a payment from Ms. Caldwell or reference to her address or her date of service. We had to assume it was her payment because we had no other such Yelp inquiries. It took eventually finding a person in our marketing service company that knew a guy that <br>worked for Yelp before we could get a resolution and have the payment sent to us.Our position, my position, is that we all need to be cautious when buying services or products through a third party that collects our money. I don't know if Ms. Caldwell buys regularly through Yelp but we do not regularly pay them for placement. We had a bad experience years ago and thought we might give it another try but that was a mistake, obviously. Our relationship with Yelp has been terminated. Yelp took this customer's money and sat on it until someone came rooting for it. That's not good business for anyone and it has left this customer and us with a nasty experience. I understand she blames us directly but her anger should be with the organization that took her money and didn't pay the vendor. However, we are happy to take her continued argumentative emails three months later. Today, I finally just wrote back and said "thank you." Apparently, it's not enough. We will accept that and we thank Ms. Caldwell for sharing her Yelp experience. With hope, it will help others.

We've been using A-1 since we moved to the area five years ago and have always received fantastic service. We had an unexpected issue and they were able to send someone out the next morning. Timothy arrived on time, was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. He explained everything, answered my questions and showed me where the problem was.
