Very good communication the day before and the day of the application. We have noticed significant reduction in mosquitos. We also get sprayed for ticks. Todd and Jose have been our technicians this year and are very thorough with their work and communication. When a family member came down with Lyme disease from a trip, we became extra paranoid about ticks and they added boosters for us! We will continue to use them again next year.

Anthony, the tech, has been great and always let's me know when he is coming soon. Costumer service was outstanding and Jessica was always very responsive and great but recently wondering if she still works there as they were not responsive the last couple times which has not been the norm the past several months. The timing was not good last month and I asked to skip or delay and got no response at all. Giving 4 stars for now while I wait to hear back from them as to what's going on.

Mosquito Joe is a proud member of the Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP) established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As part of a small number of pest control companies and organizations with membership, we are committed to educating our customers on the importance and impact of integrated pest management. We assure you that we take every step we can to minimize the exposure and risk to pollinators and beneficial insects, starting with our extensive training for technicians to our detailed treatment process. We avoid applying product to any flowering shrubs or bushes; however, if we do, we utilize our all-natural products to protect pollinators. My neighbor was receiving this service. I noticed the technicians spraying over the fence line into public parkland. There are bats and bees in the area as well as butterflies. The technician said they use Bifen, a known carcinogen, low toxicity to mammals but high toxicity to bees and butterflies. I'm writing you to Stars cuz it technician was nice enough to talk with me.

I received a message saying my lawn had been treated and I was charged ($89) for the treatment. When I checked my security cameras it was obvious that no one had actually showed up or treated my lawn. Very disappointing. I do not recommend this company.

We do send courtesy text notifications before and after our treatments, and this is the notification you received. Unfortunately, our technician misread the address and accidentally treated a different home on your street. We want to assure you that this was not done with ill intent. We were grateful you called us to express your concern, and we offered to return to your property that same day to make sure you received your services. After you declined this offer, we credited the charge back to your account immediately. We always want to make things right with our customers, and we are sad to see you cancel your services. Horrible customer service, I would suggest using a different mosquito company.
I have just started using Mosquito Joe for treating my yard for Mosquito and they have communicated every step of the way and I have seen a big difference after their services.

Update: I was transferred because there was a 6 week span of no service and the only reason this was caught was due to me calling inquiring why I have had no service. I was home all day June 19th and no service was provided. As for the failed payment, there was no change to payment on file. In addition, there was no attempt to contact me of said issue. I did not receive a text, email or phone call of "issue" in question. The reason I opted to be taken off the schedule was due to lack of service, not failed payments. When I did call to cancel, I was not asked for the reason. I was told "Okay" by a Noah. If the issue all along was failed payment, why was I not asked about this upon requesting the termination of my account? No attempt was made by Mosquito Joe to rectify anything short of an "oops" from the person I spoke with. This slipping through the cracks that you are unfamiliar with was used by the very same Noah. This does not clear up any misunderstandings, quite the opposite. Based on your response to my original review, I suspect you have me confused with one of your other clients as there was nothing accurate in your response as pertains to my account history. This does not surprise me. I "slipped through the cracks" (their words not mine) in their system twice. Upon calling about service for second time of falling through the cracks, I scheduled an additional service. The scheduled service date has since passed without any word from Mosquito Joe. I cancelled my service with them all together. Updated response from business: "Hello Chris, we were disappointed to see your review and wanted to take a moment to clear up some of the circumstances of the situation. Upon signing up with our sister Mosquito Joe location on March 22nd, you received your first service on May 4th and were then transferred to our territory on June 17th. We serviced your property on June 18th, and our technician returned for a complimentary booster treatment on the 19th. When we couldn't complete the payment for the June 18th service with the card we had on file, we made multiple attempts to contact you for an updated form of payment through multiple emails and by text message, but we hadn't received a response. We hate that your encounter with Mosquito Joe was not a true reflection of our operational standards and we are so sorry. Our technician knocked at your door several times and then checked for pets and people on your deck. He didn’t see anybody so he began spraying the perimeter of the backyard. While at the far end of your backyard, he saw your wife waving and stopped spraying to speak with her, assuring her that although she could smell our product, there were no safety issues.<br>We also had a chance to speak with her by phone to go over our protocol. We confirmed that we will always knock first and make certain that nobody is outside before beginning treatment.
