I have never left any one star review but this place is such a scam. They require you to sign up for a yearly contract for a couple hundred dollars initially and $40 a month for “quarterly service”. You’re not allowed to only have them once. We signed up and one guy came to our house to spray ONCE. And they never showed up again but continue to charge us monthly. We tried to call customer service but no one picked up. When we finally got a hold of someone, we’ve already been charged for almost a year. They keep saying we should’ve got quarterly service even though we told them we did not. No refund was issued. We requested to terminate the service and were told we have to pay half of the remaining balance for early termination. So we paid hundreds of dollars for one time service. Even that, our pest situation did not improve. It’s a scam.

So far no termites!

The inspector went into my attic and said be saw mouse tunnels the diameter of golf balls and droppings. he said he was taking photographs and he would share them with me. When I asked for them later after he said fixing the problem would cost about $2,500, he said he didn’t have any photographs after all. After he left, I got a ladder and went in the attic and looked for myself. Everything was clean, there were no signs anywhere of mouse droppings nor tunnels. So I guess he wanted me to pay $2,500 to fix a problem I don’t have. Booooooo.

Senate covers us for termites ants mice and other nasties. We’ve been with them for almost 30 years. Always responsive and great results.

Keep in mind their initial contract is $650 for nothing. They wanted a review so badly here it is. Months after we hired them they are just now checking for and filling holes. First tech said he saw no entry points and somehow didn't need to access the bottom unit. This brought about a did he show up battle. The tenant's say he never knocked and he refused to put in his notes whether they answered the door or not as other techs have done so leading me to believe he did not knock because as he said he didn't feel like the bottom GROUND unit needed to be accessed. The activity has increased if anything and their bait is ineffective. Nice workers but it's irrelevant when the problem isn't being solved or even improving. It's getting worse. I'll likely lose my tenants. Try someone else. When the girl downstairs leave I will find a new service.

I had an absolutely awful experience with this pest control company. I initially requested a consultation, was surprised with same-day service, and got a $250 bill. When confused about this my tech offered an initial service but did not mention it was the same price. Since they never discussed pricing beforehand, it felt like a scam. I've been trying to contact them for almost a month now, and there hasn't been a single response until today. Their customer service is terrible, with hang-ups, relentless calls, and zero follow-throughs on my account after I asked to have them note I am waiting for the manager. This company's lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessionalism have made my experience a complete nightmare. I strongly advise against using their services.

Senate is really good at selling on the fact that they provide excellent customer service but that’s the only thing they are good at. After completing a whole locked in year contract I can definitely say otherwise. While promises were made quick turnaround service call of within 2-3 business days. My service requests are scheduled no earlier then 1-2 weeks plus. When I complain about the service the responses I received is that IT IS WHAT IT IS. A higher sign up fee - locked in contracts - minimal quarterly services (which you have to remind them about) is what you get with senate. When calls are made requesting a cancellation - threats are made regarding cancellation fees instead of addressing the disappointments in service and after the contract has ended the response is if you want to cancel go ahead and cancel without any regard to why I am asking to cancel.

I've signed a contract with them this year. The staff is very professional and helpful. My issues have not been resolved yet but hopefully with their help we can get to the problem soon.
