Disappointed in this company. They will not deal with wasps on the corner of the flat roof of my property. What is the point of contracting with a pest control company that doesn’t control pests?

We have been so disappointed with this company. The first technician appeared irritated each time he came, especially if I mentioned any issues. Our last straw was the most recent visit. I was unable to answer the door; however, I observed that the technician sprayed just two of our bushes in the front and left. He didn't spray the porch or the back of the house. He spent a total of maybe a minute. Needless to say, we canceled the services. Just incredibly unprofessional and unethical.

Loved working to working with Steve, will ialways request him! He was very respectful and kind to my daughter. I really appreciated them! UPDATE: sadly the good service did not continue. A tech came to my house and lied about providing services as evident on my security cameras. Disappointing that thier entire team does not operate with honesty. Services canceled and will be sharing with all of my local friends to avoid this company. Especially in my development where they hold the termite certificates
Worst service ever. They don't even wipe webs and such off of the house like other services do. If you need to cancel last minute, they'll still show up and do a partial service and charge you a full fee...then hassle you about it. I'll find someone else do do a better pest control for my property.

I pay a yearly termite inspection for my home, so scheduled that service with Better termite and agreed upon a date and time. The technician that came was late and didn't really knock on the door, call me to let me know if they arrived nor ring my camera doorbell. I called they said they came and knocked on the door and proceeded with the inspection. Concerned that my security system wasn't working, I checked the cameras and I'm just going to say they didn't ring the doorbell, didn't knock, looked at one side of the side and that's it. Unprofessional as well because they were on the phone and I heard the entire conversation. Why take a job when you clearly don't care and didn't think my cameras was watching you the entire time.
Unfortunately, I have cancelled my service with Better Termite & Pest Control today. I was notified today that technicians have been servicing the exterior of my property for the last two months without any authorization or confirmation. I have NOT receive any notification via email or phone. The technicians did not leave a note or knock on my door to let me know they were on property. I have been working from home for the last two months and have NOT seen the technicians cars/trucks or the technician(s)s on site. I was quite pleased with the service until today. When I contacted the customer service representative to discuss my concerns, she was very matter of fact about it. Extremely disappointed and frustrated by the situation. I have written the company to cancel my contract effective immediately, today, Friday, May 8, 2020.

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our automatic notifications. It is our policy to send an automated call approximately one week prior to your visit and then email (if there is an address on file) the work order immediately upon completion and then again after the office processes the work on the next business day. According to our records, all of these steps were completed. The automated call and two emails were sent to you with the information. This is the same automated system that we have used for the entirety of your contract and it worked in the past as we did interior services with your permission. Per your request, we have cancelled your account.
Twice asked to speak with the owner about a business matter - first in person, the second time on the phone. It was quite obvious from the behavior of ladies in the office and the response initially given by the lady answering the phone that on both instances the owner was in the office. They are clearly however charged with acting as gatekeeper. Clearly Mr. Schultz hasn't the time to be bothered discussing business with customers. Clearly customer service is meaningless to this business that is ironically in a service industry.

We are a small, family owned & operated business and are happy to talk to customers. All of our office staff are trained to handle customer service issues. I also searched your name through our database but could not find a match which left me no way to reach out to you. I called to schedule a termite inspection for a Veteran. Was told by the agent on the phone "we can definitely do that". I then said the property was in DC, which it says is an area served on their website. She said they are not taking any new business in the DC area, because of traffic and "big trucks" etc. I don't think it takes a big truck to do a termite inspection. May want to change areas served on the website then.

Phillip, My apologies that we were unable to help your client with a termite inspection. We respect our veterans and all they do for our country. We offer military discounts as well as proudly supporting Project Evergreen which offers services to our deployed military personnel and their families. As I explained on the phone, the specific service you requested is not something we offer in DC. Our website lists Northern Virginia Pest & Termite Control Services and that we service Virginia, Maryland & the D.C. Area and that holds true. I hope that you were able to find a pest control company in Washington DC that was able to offer you their services. We wish your client the best of luck in his or her new home.
Very disappointed. We spotted a rat in our basement and called Better Termite and Pest Control the next morning. They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. The work order was to "give estimate and treat same day". We assumed that meant they would lay out traps, poison, etc to take care of the rat. Unfortunately that's not what happened. Instead they tried to up-sell us a "rodent control service for $650 yearly, $200 initial, $90 per service". We didn't want to spend upwards of a thousand dollars to take care of a rat so we declined. They laid no traps or poison or anything at all. Later that day I went to the hardware store and spent $25 on traps and poison.
