This was our 3rd treatment to a very large Silver Maple tree. The technician was professional and prompt. All 3 technicians have done great work, were professional, polite and listened to my concerns about my animals. Would recommend them for any tree work for bugs.

SPS treated my father-in-law’s fruit trees and ornamental shrubs years ago and now they skillfully maintain the trees and shrubbery around my property. Highly trained analysis of problems and skilled technicians to apply the treatments. Highly recommend.

I saw your truck leaving my driveway and this is how I knew that you were here. Is it not necessary to know someone is here unless there is something that I need to do in follow-up. I am told ahead of time that someone is coming for a service and that is fine. I was told yesterday that my lawn was seeded and I did not even know. so, it would have been nice to know since I probably should hhave been watering the lawns.

The quick, professional service was outstanding. Pete took the time to explain in detail the proposed treatment plan. He also told me what I could do to improve the health of my Crape Myrtle tree. I highly recommend Scientific Plant Service for the care of your trees. Tony came out today to do the Drenching for my Crape Myrtle tree. He was very professional and went over what he was going to do. Tony is a very friendly man who clearly has vast experience. He is a great asset for the Scientific company!

After making the mistake of using a "big box" type of company for our weed control and fertilizing needs, I found this gem of a company and I have never looked back! Scientific Plant Service staff are wonderful to work with. They help you to understand what the needs of your property are and they custom tailor the program specifically to provide for those needs - nothing more and nothing less. Tony - who consistently provides outstanding service for us - is reliable and knowledgeable. I never worry that our needs will not be met. Kevin from Scientific Plant Service came out to my home to evaluate my trees and create a treatment plan for my issues. Scientific Plant Service was recommended by a friend and our homeowner’s association for evaluation and treatment of our crepe myrtle trees. They were very responsive in coming out to look at our tree and provided a timely recommendation and estimate to treat the bark scale. They scheduled treatment very soon after sending the estimate. Communication with Scientific Plant Service staff was excellent and answered my questions in a very satisfactory and professional manner. Our crepe Myrtle seems to be doing well. Thank you. Overall, the service is excellent. The only issues we had was with the lack of notice for appointments and trying to sync the schedules up so that I could have the grass mowed before the service.

This is a shout out to Scientific Plant Service. I planted an out tree that I just love. One day I discovered that it was in really bad shape. It was covered with the caterpillars of the Oak moth. I contacted Scientific Plant Service and they came right out and got ride of them. Plus they fertilize my tree every spring. It looks so vibrant and healthy now. It’s at least 25 feet tall and has begun to produce acorns. Thank you so much Scientific Plant Service!

My lovely dogwood was looking sad, not her usual bright self. Scientific Plant came to my garden and diagnosed the problem. My tree was treated to three doses and is once again her shining self!

They do a great job attending to our landscaping to keep the deer from eating our shrubs and other pests from destroying the landscaping.

If you live in the Baltimore city area do not use this company. I don't often post reviews unless they're either amazing or horrible. The sales person in charge of Baltimore city is a mess. It took 3 calls and 3 emails to even get him to respond to my request. We agreed on a proposal which they were months late to. When they finally did it, there was no communication. They broke into our backyard and sprayed everything including our ferns. Then they proceeded to email me every week for their payment which I would reply informing them I will not pay. They did not hear out any of my concerns. I have had to escalate this to the manager. Save yourself a giant headache and avoid this company at all costs.

We had them come out to address some concerns we had about several older trees. They came and diagnosed them with the promise to get back to us with a quote to treat the problems. Unfortunately the quote was confusing in its wording and was way out of our price range. The payment terms were very restrictive as well. Sadly, the price will prohibit us from prolonging the life of our trees.😞
