I have been using mint for a while now and every single time they show up, they never do the garage, they never go in the back yard, they never do inside, and even though I pay for it, they never treat my yard. If I didn’t sign a contract I would cancel them. Then they ask me to leave a positive review for a bonus for my tech. They don’t earn good reviews, they buy them. Picture for proof. Do it yourself. It’s cheaper and more reliable. I pay $159 per quarter and they only ever do half the job.

**BE VERY AWARE BEFORE YOU SIGN A CONTRACT** My experience with Mint Pest Control has been very poor. We were charged a cancellation fee even though our property was never serviced beyond the initial visit. We have over eight perimeter security cameras on our home and there was no record of any technician returning for follow-up treatments. We attempted to contact the branch and our salesperson, Chase Taylor, more than 25 times with no return call. Instead, we received automated text messages, and when we replied, we never received a response. This was especially frustrating because during signup we were encouraged to leave a 5-star review in exchange for a discount — something I now deeply regret doing. When we contacted Kai (Manager) for cancellation, he argued with my wife and insisted we owed a $275+ cancellation fee, despite being unable to provide proof of ongoing service. In my opinion, this is unacceptable customer service. I would strongly caution others to review their contract carefully and consider their options before signing. We previously used Black Diamond and Greenix, and never experienced anything remotely close to this situation. I wish we had stayed with them from the start.

In 2024, they came door to door for new customers, I signed up. They came out one time and claimed they couldn't charge my card since. Again, this is in 2024. November of 2025, they send me an invoice, claiming they services my address the whole second half of 2024. I have cameras, they didn't. They, all of a sudden, can charge my card now and they did, a year later and no for no services rendered. Now it's hard to get someone on the phone to even address this charge but some business are quick to respond to a negative review, so here we go. All this could've been handled personally, had they just returned my voicemails. This LOCAL business is a scam !

Be careful when signing your agreement for a one time service. They also add on a monthly agreement that is never discussed. We paid $2225 for bat removal from our attic for a 1 time service and then they charged $25 a month for a continuous twice a year inspection that was never disclosed or discussed. A bit shady to me.

The kid riding the Segway thing on Clunie and Tee Rd in Corydon, Indiana on 8/20/25 was extremely pushy. Showed up to our home unannounced and would not leave no matter how much we politely tried to express that we were not interested. I asked for his business card so we could think on it and he quickly scrolled through “all his good reviews” instead, but considering that he was asking us to leave him a good review before he even got us to agree, it makes me doubt that any of them are legitimate. I asked for the ingredients used in the mosquito spray and he deflected the question. The three ingredients he mentioned for the house spray sounded a bit like “snake oil.” Seems very expensive for some essential oils and borax. He then proceeded to invite himself into our garage and made the situation extremely uncomfortable. Truly felt obligated to sign up for the service only so that we could to get him to leave and had to cancel the next morning. To top things off, he insulted my career after asking what I do for a living. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but if this is who they choose to represent their company, I’m not sure that I can stay quiet in good conscience.

Aaron sold me on flea , gnat and mosquito but what i recieved was normal control. Very nice kid but when i called back for my 2 week i was told i was lied to. I owed the $50 plus $70, no free follow up, just every 2 month cycle. When i complained Aaron called me 10 times to say they will not honor their service. I should "go away". Do not do business with Mint. Very shady.

They go around home to home begging for service . They came to me as I was working on my yard and I said okay for their service after listening to their promises and flat fee for $49.99 per month as I always like to support local businesses. They asked for the signature on their iPad and I did not know I signed a contract with them and any time if I would cancel the service I would have to pay $299.00 . Watch there guys, they will cheat you . One evening they were in my nephew’s house with their things to say for the service . I told them pleae leave this property you are never going to get any service from us . Their service is so ineffective and what I am paying them is all wastage .

Nice guy but I had another appointment around the same time who pulled in behind the tech. Rather than asking me to see if the truck could move, he drove on the saturated grass leaving deep ruts that will most likely be costly to correct in the spring. Will Mint correct this for me?

Very negative experience. Do not choose this company. Spend a total of two minutes here each time they were out so I attempted to cancel the service. Now they’re pressuring me with fine print in the contract and up charges. Also technicians are not pet friendly. One totally overreacted to seeing my dog in the yard. Again much better pest control companies to choose from. Sales person will be out this spring on a hover board. Young kid with high-pressure sales tactics claiming that he knows your neighbors. None of this is true.

Service techs are wonderfully polite but im extremely unhappy with their actual service and the lady who always answers the phone. For the price being paid to then charge a coupe extra hundred dollars for an additional pest treatment is outrageous. I will definitely be canceling services and starting up with a different family owned company whose prices were much less.
