Purchased a 1 -2 yr plan because a neighbor of mine moved in with a horse. I had no idea!! Never gave it a second thought, until I had a deluge of them little critters running through every crack & crevice of my home. Called up Terminix, signed some paperwork, and asked that they use a natural way of catching the critters because I do not want to harm any other wildlife or cats around this neck of the woods!! I pay $40/monthly for a service technician (Rebecca Tandy) to come out quarterly and check the traps, and to check to see if there's anything else wandering around under my home. I continue this service, not only because my service technician (Rebecca Tandy) is the absolute best, but because I have to complete the contract.

We've had a Terminex contract at this house for over 12 years. Our technician, Joshua, is the best. He's on time and keeps us updated on his expectated arrival time on the day of service. He's professional and fast. Our contract is billed quarterly so I really don't have a price paid for this visit, I'm just estimating.

Original 11/12/25 I received a notification that a tech was coming to perform a service for my home when they had no appointment set with me. I immediately called Terminix and canceled that service, which I had not approved, and scheduled a new time for the service to be performed. In spite of Terminix contacting the tech and telling them not to come, the tech showed up to my property while I was unavailable. I tried calling the provided number for the tech without an answer. The tech spent less than 7 minutes on my property (I have it on my door cam) from the time they pulled into my driveway to the time they drove out. Terminix then charged me for this service that I had canceled and clearly stated I did not want. When I contacted customer service and canceled my account over this issue and poor service from this tech from multiple previous appointments, they said that they would issue a refund. However, it never came, and now months later they are saying that, since chemicals were used on my property, they will not issue a refund after all, despite previous promises. Update 11/20/25: In spite of being told on 11/12/25 when I re-filed my refund request that I would hear back from them in 24-48 hours, I still have not been contacted back. So, essentially, this company is supporting their employees in trespassing on client property and charging them for it. A complaint to the Better Business Bureau has been filed. Update 12/5/25: Terminix responded to the BBB complaint saying that they had initiated the refund on 11/20/25. In spite of this, I got my money back not through refund, but by having disputed the charge with my bank.

This is the fifth time they have had a scheduled appointment with me and have not shown up or contacted me to let me know anything. So annoying when you plan your day around being available or have an issue with pests and they just ghost you. So unprofessional and unreliable.

Terrible customer service. Hung up on me once and after I called back I asked if they took care of nutrias (once again). He didn’t say anything. Was silent . And I said they are big eats. He informed me that they could come out and inspect. But when I asked if they take care of them and why would be the options (like catch release, poison, etc), he said they would have to come out to give me options. When I asked if they do catch and relaxes as an option he said again, they would need to come out before they could give me any of that information. Basically extremely useless information. But they want $. When I asked why they can’t give me any of their extermination options for rodents he said “are you trying to tell me how to do my job!?” Would never use them.

I was driving and had gotten into a turn lane. There was a terminix driver who decided last minute they needed to be in the turn lane too. There was about half a car length between me and the car in front of me. The terminix driver not only began to cut me off but also flipped me off. Wild to do that in a company car.

Alas, I had to quit this company. My technician was AMAZING, but the infrastructure is just awful: it is so fractured that the right hand literally does not know what the left is doing, if you need help between routine servicings. Passed around on the phone; can’t find my account….they are seriously awful.

I need a pest inspection (WDIR) completed for my VA refi. I initially reached out July 7th and it is now July 22nd with no call backs, inspectors no call/no show, "disconnected" calls -3+ hang ups, different excuses/reasons each call with over 5 representatives and I am no further along than I was at the beginning of the month. I have been promised multiple callbacks from supervisors and I have still received nothing. This is me a (new customer) wanting a service and not getting it. How many other people are going through this?? Why are they the only company so far to have this license? I am on the verge of cancelling my refi due to the absurdity of having to get this freaking inspection required by the VA in Oregon. All the other bug places I've called do not have the license to do this inspection and so far it's only Terminix. In all of my 34 years of life and 15+ years in customer service, this is the worse Customer Service I have ever gotten!! This issue has delayed my refi by over two weeks which has added way more stress. My Mortgage Broker has even been calling on my behalf as this has been the last thing needed and he has gotten unfulfilled promises of of callbacks the past few weeks as well. I do not recommend dealing with Terminix, at least in the Salem-Eugene office.

I called his company for a quote, the young man I spoke to was very thorough . I wanted to talk it over with my husband and asked if he would call back later that day and he agreed he would. Since they work on commission I wanted him to get the credit. Well he never called back so I ended up calling the 800 number again the next day and was connected with a local office that never answered the phone and I had called at least a half a dozen times. Finally was able to reach somebody we scheduled for Saturday between 8 AM and noon but nobody showed up nor did we receive a phone call or text or anything saying that they were not coming. So come Monday I called again and finally able to speak to someone the first time I called . I scheduled for Wednesday between 10 AM and noon only to get a text on Tuesday saying there were no technicians available and they had rescheduled me for Thursday at 8 AM. I spent another 15 minutes on the phone and at least five phone calls trying to get a hold of somebody to cancel since they already had my credit card number I wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged anything . I cannot speak to their actual service because I was never able to receive it because they were so flaky from the very beginning . If you actually want somebody to show up and perform a service I would definitely not go with Terminix .. They are very unprofessional and I’m surprised that they are actually on home advisor.

We have scheduled an inspection twice with this company. The first one was a complete no show of which the inspector admitted to comply blowing us off. Bad way of doing business in my opinon. The second he showed up an hour and a half late of the end of the said insepection time. Twice that an appointment window can't be met. Inspection was not done as I refuse to pay a company that don't keep up their end.

Rotten service! This company has been completely non-responsive to concerns about the unsafe conduct of a Terminix employee on our property. I received a robocall seeking a service rating when I asked to speak to a manager and was told a manager would return my call. Not helpful, not respectful, and certainly not customer SERVICE.

After the third cancelled appointment in a month (2 times without even a phone call to inform me) I had to terminate my service plan with Terminix and seek another company where reliability is important.
