As I became in need of help with my lawn maintenance, I chose Lawn Doctor. They know what they are doing! The lawn has never looked better. Appointments are timed appropriately by seasonal need. I am notified of my appointment time both by phone and by email. Any questions I have are responded to quickly. This year Lawn Doctor also controlled the mosquito outbreak in my yard. Notification, treatment, billing, reports and recommendations are all given routinely. Many thanks for dependable help/service! Alice

My lawn was in very bad shape, due to the fact I was very busy and also afraid to do lawn treatments, lest I mess up and poison my lawn. The technicians were professional and kind, and did the work very quickly. My lawn looks great now. I wish I had hired a professional treatment sooner, it is definitely worth the cost. Thanks!

Lawn Doctor is an EXCELLENT lawn service. The people working for them are professionals, knowledgeable, friendly and their rates are affordable. I have used them for many years after trying several other lawn companies. I get compliments from my neighbors and friends on how beautiful my yard is. If I could give this place less than a star I would. I’m not the one to leave reviews, but this business lacks respect. Service is very minimal for the price they charge. They are in and out within minutes. The owner is extremely stubborn and rude and lacks empathy. 👎🏼

Had the friendly folks from lawn doctor out this morning spraying our property for mosquitoes. I’ve been using many of their services for several years and really appreciate their consistency and quality. If you’re dealing with mosquitoes in the yard or weeds you should consider hitting them up.

We hired Lawn Doctors about a year ago and things were going along well until this summer. We have called multiple times bc we noticed brown spots in May and here we are in September. When I called to raise my concerns, I was told the owner would respond. So far, nothing. Do not use them, not only is the service terrible, it is clear the owner doesn’t care.

The owner does care about the property because i came out and looked at your property and told your husband that you had a fungus in the front yard. Your husband said he did not want the fungus control because my secretary called him and the operation manager called him and he yelled on the phone NO NO NO and hung up on both of my employees. So the operations manager called back another time and your husband never called the operations manager back. We never received a phone call back so we could address the problem. We did all we could do on our side but never received a call back in responce to the fungus that the technician informed you of and we never received an approval for us to go back and apply the fungicide on your property. I understand your frustration but simple calling the office we could have had this handled in a timely manner.
For years I had full lawnto enjoy, it had a weed or two but I kept them pulled. Decided to take a chance on the Lawn Doctor thinking my lawn would be over the top. It's been a big disappointment. I still have the weeds but most the grass is dead. Pictures will follow.

Curt Nikolai, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience with us. We would like to address this- When we came out for the first service of the year, we informed you that you had winter damage and that we could reseed in the fall (we couldn't offer spring seeding since we had already laid down pre-emergent weed control on the lawn for that first service) We later found out that instead of calling the office to respray for weed growth in the lawn- that you pulled them out- which breaks our barrier, so then of course more weeds pop up. You also had a fungus in your lawn- which we did treat for you- but you did not follow the watering instructions after that service. The operations manager and the owner have both been out to your property, have taken soil samples- and have determined that there are many dry spots in the lawn. They have suggested adjusting the sprinkler system, and again, have also offered a fall seeding and aeration for the lawn- in which you declined, saying you wanted to tear up the lawn and get new sod. Please contact our office, if you wish to resolve this matter.
We put sod in 2019 and hired Lawn Doctor to keep it green. Well that didn't work. We notified Lawn Doctor once we noticed issues and they would send someone out to service us. Needless to say, we have spent plenty of money and the grass looks horrible. We paid our last payment and canceled service. Don't waste your money! UPDATE RESPONSE TO VENDOR: I disagree, we did follow your instructions and ensured the sprinklers covered all areas of the grass. We followed your guidance regarding how long, how often to water according to the temperature. Chuck came out a year and a half ago telling us we needed to rake the dry spots in the grass and it would grow back, he never mentioned we have low flow sprinklers. We have been raking the grass and it hasn't worked. We also paid for pre-mergent and we still have weeds. We decided to get Synlawn instead which will save us money on services that don't work and wasting water.

J9- We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the services that we provided for you. Unfortunately, there is only so much we can on our end, when we only at your property every 7- 8 weeks. Each visit, the technicians left notes/advice on how to water the lawn properly for each season, but you did not heed their advice. Even the owner came out to discuss your low-flow sprinklers with you, but again, you refused to take the watering advice. When our customers do their part, they always have good results.
Chuck showed up at my house after I had been given no timetable for arrival (the voicemail only said the day, not the time window), no phone call in advance, and no attempt to call me after realizing I was not home. He went through my gate and to my backyard and wrote some general notes about the grass which he left under my doorstep. It would have been nice to be called first so I could have been there to ask specific questions. I was able to ask these questions later over the phone, but he didn’t have any answers. Thanks for nothing.

This company comes up when you utilize Home Advisor for weeding. They do not weed, they ONLY spray for weeds. They don't even tell you verbally how to receive the best results, like "water the ground for saturation," you have to read the receipt to get the best results. Then you have to hire someone else to come and clean up the weeds.
