J&J has been doing services for my company for about two months now. We have multiple locations and they have been attentive to each one, even coming back if we have a new problem that arises. I called a few companies before calling J and J about a rat nest in the loft of my shed, the others would only treat and not remove the nest. Hunter came out to assess the situation, he explained what would be done, that the nest would be removed, bait boxes would be installed and there would be a follow-up a week later. Johnathan came out on Tuesday, he put pellets in my attic as a safety measure, made sure there were no point of entry for the rats into my home, put out bait boxes, he got up in the loft removed the nest, swept the loft of all the rat droppings, plugged up the holes of entry. Johnathan went above when he went to dispose of the nest and droppings he had bagged up to put in the trash he brought my trash can in from the street, just a little simple gesture but showed how caring he was. Around my home and shed was sprayed. The last thing Johnathan did I was not expecting my yard was treated for ants. This is something I normally do ad I am allergic to ants. I can honestly say that the service I received from Johnathan of J and J Pest was above and beyond any expectations! The price I paid was worth every penny! I have used pest companies in the past and have never been happy to the point of canceling. What Johnathan did was more than I have every seen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I understand that in Louisiana, jobs can be scarce and people need to earn a living—but lying to customers is completely unacceptable. I had a scheduled appointment, and no one showed up—no call, no update, nothing. The salesman was completely unavailable, and there’s no direct line to reach a real person, only an answering machine. After being ghosted in New Orleans for my appointment, no one from the company reached out to inform me of the missed appointment or even to let me know that my payment had been refunded. It felt like everything was discussed internally, but no one had the professionalism or courtesy to communicate directly with me. I had to email the owner and president of the company myself just to get things moving and to hold people accountable—something that should have never been necessary for a paying customer. The only two individuals who actually stepped up and assisted me were the field manager and the pest technician—both of whom were professional, courteous, and not part of the sales team. They were the sole bright spots in an otherwise awful experience. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I will never return, and I urge this company to remember that earning a living should never come at the expense of honesty, accountability, and basic respect for customers.

I am giving this one star because our technician was very nice. However, everything else was a disaster, to the tune of $350 for my car and $1500 for my house-- Both of which are still infested with bedbugs beyond belief. The last time my landlord called, about a month ago, she was told to stop calling or we wouldn't receive any more help. Very professional, right? We didn't receive any help after that call anyway. They refused to do anything but use a spray can of Crossfire pesticide we had already used for six months. I haven't been able to hold a job for several months because of the infestation. Every time I get out of my car, I am covered in bugs, all in my shoes, hair and clothes. When they tell you they've "never had anyone call back with a problem," for God's sake, don't believe them. I am responsible for paying this money back to my landlord, and J&J's treatments did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I was told that if we still had problems, they would come out and retreat. That was a total lie. J&J refused to believe me until my landlord put up the money. When I said there was still activity, I was sent an invoice saying "no activity noted." I was told by the technician that I didn't need to show him the bugs, since it was already paid for. They just want your money, they don't want evidence because then they'd have to do something. DO NOT GO TO J&J UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WASTE YOUR MONEY, SQUANDER YOUR TIME AND LABOR, AND BE THREATENED YOU WHEN YOU ASK FOR ADDITIONAL HELP. This place was my last hope, and I'm sitting here being bit by bedbugs as I write this. There are no words for my disappointment and grief. I threw away everything I owned, slept on the floor, and was late for work countless times because I was trying to to get the bugs out of my clothes and hair. My car is ruined. My life is ruined. This review is all I have to try to help others not make the erroneous decision I dId. I tried every company in town, and no one would believe me until my uncle got involved (I'm a woman.) This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life, and that is truly saying something.

Just had a rep come to my home for service unannounced. No phone call, no email, no text. Called customer service and told the CSR what happened and she sounded like she couldn't care less. No apology on behalf of the company. Nothing. . I'm not knocking the pest control tech because he's great but whomever is in charge of letting customers know about their service appts is slacking.

I have had exterminating services with J&J about 1 year now. I would never choose any other company. The young man in charge of taking care of my home exterminating needs is Nick. This young man is professional and always on time. If Nick informs you he will be at your home at a certain time you can count on it. Recently Nick was here to take care of the exterminating for the quarter. I signed up for the quarter. This makes it easy for me to afford. This is one of the reasons I love dealing with J&J. They don’t try to charge you an arm and a leg and you get excellent service. Anyway Nick came by during early November. He handled his business. He made sure all of the areas of the house was sprayed. He doubled back to check everything again. Nick always does this and I really appreciate him. He let me know he had completed the job and he told me all he had done. Not all companies do this. Many times they just leave and send you the bill. A week and a half later the cameras on the outside of my house kept going off. Something was causing them to react. I checked the cameras on my back porch and all I could see was wasps swarming everywhere. I could not go outside. I phoned Nick. He came over and took care of the wasp. Nick explained that the weather had been cooler. When it warmed up the wasps were confused. They thought the season had changed. Thank God for Nick and J &J. If you are looking for a great not a good exterminating company, people you can depend on, phone J&J Exterminators today. They know all about their jobs. They will tell you about the type of pest you are having problems with. They will take care of your problems. They are extremely reasonable. I guarantee they will beat the price you are paying now and qualified employees in the office and the exterminators like Nike and the other professionals will do a better job for you.

Called more than once 4 an inspection. The guy they send never shows up. I informed them the 2nd time he didn't show up & the call center agent insured me he would this time. He calls your phone way before the appointment then has the audacity to lie about coming. I called the # back to see what happened after another no show & he hangs up the phone & sends a text saying he didn't have service & would call later (never happened) I waited a few days and called him again & he claims he was in a meeting & would contact me afterwards, never did. If u just want a paycheck & don't want to do your job just say that 🤦🏾♂️ I'm pretty sure the company not going for that though the sad part is he could've have at least showed up and lied (something he's good at) to get out of actually doing the work. Robbery at it's finest

Can't quite give them a 1 star because their service guys do a great job. Their back office though is terrible. Twice I have had billing issues to the point where they sent me to a collection agency even though my account was up to date. I was told they were cleaning up their billing department but the problems still exist. Called 5 times today (a regular work day) starting at 0800 and left messages with the answering service 3 times. Its 5:25 and still waiting for a call back. Business must be off the charts. I have decided to cancel my contract. Good people servicing your house just be very wary of the business office.
"UPDATE: I must say once their head office was made aware of the situation and what took place, they apologized sincerely and also took care of the bill/account mentioned below. I received my letter from the creditor stating the bill was withdrawn and they are removing it from my credit history as well. Thanks!" The Exterminator came for the initial job and was only at the house for less than 10 minutes. This is not enough time to spray, set traps, and do everything inside and outside our home. The lady didn't listen to my Wife either when told what room to spray and stay out of. When the lady left we saw no difference in the pest control for the next month. After being asked not to come back, they didn't, yet still stuck me with the contract bill. They expect me to pay for services I not only didn't receive, but no longer wanted. Now my account is in collections for $255!
