I've used Lawn Doctor service for quite a few years now, and my lawn never looked better. It's always wise to get your lawn aerated and seeded at least every 2 years to keep it looking great. These guys do a super job in every aspect.

We’ve been using Lawn Doctor for about a year now. Our grass has honestly never looked better. Dustin, the manager, came out last year to help us make a plan. I was shocked that a simple phone call was greeted with such nice customer service. Dustin recently came out to our property last week to see the progress. I can only speak good things about the Lawn Doctor here in Wilmington, not other locations. But if you are looking for lawn treatments & a fuller lawn, Lawn Doctor of Wilmington is the way to go.

zoysia grass in my lawn looking very brown in a large % of the area. i read about the temperature and guess i'll be more patient since i saw your info in an email. i would appreciate any personalized input you might be able to provide when next you are in the area.

Grass has brown spots which they did not treat. The first tech said it was from water run off and my dog. Some of the spots were not available to my dog. My neighbor has the same and does not have a dog. NC extension unit says it is a decease. Not at all pleased with this company!

Really like my current lawn treatment guy. Does a good job, doesn’t avoid conversations and makes good recommendations. But, last fall he recommended lawn aeration and compost spreading to give the yard a boost this spring. I seem to remember he stated it would get done in late April/early May. To date, and today is May 24 I have not heard, nor can I get a response, as to when this might get completed. All I hear is that there are staffing issues. If I had known this was going to be such a problem I would have contracted with someone else.

the broad leaf weed control used is very weak. most of the time it does not kill the weeds I do not think the liquid fertilizer used this year as the granular type used in the past.

Poor quality or wrong amount of Fert. & weed control

We did not have a good experience with Lawn Doctor. Our grass died after several treatments. He said it is just the summer heat and refused to make any adjustments. I had landscapers and sprinkler technicians come to assess and they both said it looks like the fertilizer was too harsh. We have sprinkler system and water often so there is no reason for grass to burn the way it did. Everytime we reach out to the owner, he does not respond. It takes 3-4 calls to get him on the phone. I got too tired of trying to chase. Grass died and I will be moving to a new service provider. I wish I can post photos here. We will be spending money to aerate and reseed. The owner did not even offer this as an option or even remotely acknowledge any responsibility Go somewhere else.

We had service done on May 26. We had fertilization, pre-emergent and broadleaf weed control. The guy that this the service was running the machine fast on our lawn causing to leave nasty tire marks on our grass, our grass has been killed in those areas, yellow patches. I called the office and awarded them of the situation the supervisor advised us to water the lawn that it should be back to normal in couple of weeks, we follow the instructions. No change what so ever two weeks after so I called again, supervisor came out to our residence and admitted that the technician did over tire the lawn and there was tension on the grass, he said to water and if we didn't see change in couple of weeks to call again and they will Sent someone out again to do seeding and fix the problem, so I did call again since there hasn't been no change and the supervisor gave me a story that it will take some time, he never mentioned again. About sending someone out to fix the problem, he was avoiding my conversation. It's been 2 months and a half and my grass still looks like crap, with the same yellow marks, and I haven't heard back from lawn Doctor. I will not recommend this company since they will no fix the problem after they kill your grass.
