March 26, 2026: Adam conducted an interior and exterior treatment today. He used a different product on the exterior since we have stubborn ants: must be a huge colony. I had the pleasure of meeting Jereme today from Bulwark. He kept me updated on when he would be arriving and even offered to come in early if I was available. Once onsite he asked me where my biggest concerns were and inquired about my dogs to make sure they stayed safe during the process. Right away went to work and made sure to treat the areas needed. I called Bulwark out to deal with some mice I had noticed chewed a hole into a step leading to under our house. They were upfront with their pricing and services and very friendly. Josh came out and inspected the garage, around outside and crawled into the crawl space doing a very thorough inspection and set some traps. He was very knowledgeable about the process and answered all the questions I had with a very friendly demeanor. I’d definitely recommend Bulwark and Josh if you need an exterminator.

Frustrating and confusing experience. Their customer service will tell you one thing and the service professional will show up and do something completely different. This has thrown us off schedule and is a waste of time. 3 services with them and 3 of the same frustrating experiences where customer service has no idea what was performed on your house and tells you something that their service professional disagrees with. The best part, their customer service rep would argue with me (customer) while I shared politely with them about the miscommunication. I'm done with Bulwalk and I advise you to stay away from them too.

We’ve had ants for MONTHS, bulwark has come over and over again and they keep coming back. The tiniest crumb, ants are back. The exterminators come back and do the same thing, they spray outside and they leave some bait, and then leave. Then, like clockwork, ants still return. What’s the point?

We’ve had there service for 6 months and have seen minimal decrease in Ants. They are friendly and come out often but nothing seems to work. They are not available on Sunday and their call service doesn’t go to a voicemail nor does their bot help you online. The service rep Who does come out is at least friendly however, Scheudling a time for them To come out and spray inside the house is difficult and very limited on slots

Torrey was amazing. Never have I had someone literally look for the entry points of the rats getting into our crawl space. Not only that he walked the premises looking for issues and where there is a problem. He found the issue and now I can fix it. So he went beyond and I greatly appreciate it! Also did all that with a helpful smile and attitude. Update: Not sure if ownership changed but the service quality has dropped drastically. They keep charging extra fees for the same service. They don’t put bait in the bait boxes and only spray. Most of the rodents killed has been from our electric traps. The office supervisor honestly doesn’t care about customer issues and is more about finding ways to squeeze money from you. Prior we had great service. They spent time doing inspections and going into the crawl space. The last few times they don’t and even won’t put bait in the claw traps. Today got another bill increase because of an “audit” which came just a couple months ago when they did another “audit” and went back on what their contract stated.

I scheduled with Bulwark twice for my property, which meant coordinating with a tenant waiting on-site for their appointment window. They cancelled the day before the first time, then didn't even show up the second time with no word. Even though I had signed an agreement, when I called in they didn't even have any record of my information. It was a very frustrating experience and not very professional at all. I don't recommend.

I am a customer of Bulwark from the Tacoma, WA branch. I originally reached out to Bulwark with a flea infestation, and they told me that they would work with me from the first visit and the following 90 days to treat the infestation. But I have to say, I've been very disappointed with the service. 1) The company promised to send me instructions on how to prepare for treatment—and I reached out two additional times for said instructions—but they never followed through to send said instructions. It never appeared in my spam filter too. 2) Upon arrival, the technicians said they would spray both inside and outside, but during their last follow-up visit, they skipped outside, missed 3 rooms (2 of which are connected to the source of the infestation), and refused to treat the attic or crawl space. This is a major concern of mine since we have an old, unsealed house that has fresh rodent droppings in the attic. 3) The technicians sprayed our pet supplies, such as beds, potty mats, scratching posts, and toys even though the spray is poisonous to animals. And I know this is partly because of us not picking up, but they arrived much earlier than expected and unannounced with no instructions on what they were spraying or treating. 4) They sprayed around most of our furniture rather than underneath it, even though most of our furniture is standing at least 6 inches off the ground and/or mobile and on wheels. This defeats the purpose of targeting the baseboard or perimeters of the room to keep pests out. 5) The technicians sprayed the power strips in our house, concerning since liquids are not meant to contact electricity. This could lead to short circuiting and/or ruin our internal wiring and electronics in our house. I don’t know whether I’m disappointed because the quality of service is so low or my expectations are too high for what I would consider reasonable services. I called the local branch’s supervisor to complain, but I expect I was lied to again because when I called, the responder told me they were the manager but refused to disclose their last name or phone number. Neither did they understand how the process of flea treatment worked when I asked. They said they don’t know what technicians spray, either inside or outside the house. And when she commented saying she would send someone out, no one followed up. I don’t know if this is the norm with Bulwark, but I am greatly disappointed with the unprofessional service and the amount of lying with the company.

Horrible, disrespectful service. Scheduled an appointment for wasp extermination, no one showed up. When I left them 1 star rating in Thumbtack they called me and offered to scheduled another appointment and give me a healthy discount. I took it and someone arrived. He said he'll need another visit, which was scheduled for 2 days later. Guess what, no one showed up again. I called them, and after a lot of arguing they were willing to issue me a refund. The wasps are still there, BTW, the first treatment was completely ineffective. I'm updating the review after I got service from a different exterminator, who eliminated the wasps in one visit. I now realize how ridiculous Bulwark's exterminator was. Bulwark's exterminator came with plain clothes and spray something from cans that look exactly like what I can buy in the supermarket. No wonder it was completely ineffective. The other exterminator was wearing protective great and mix the chemicals in his truck, and used professional back spray. Based on the service I got from Bulwark, it really seems like a fraud.

Scheduled a service, but their technician saw the number of steps to get into our house and canceled the appointment. Rescheduled and they ensured the next tech would be able to handle stairs. Gave me an 8 hour window of when the tech would arrive, but no one ever showed up or tried to contact me. I tried to contact them that day, but they didn't respond until two days later and offered zero apology or explanation. I declined to reschedule a third opportunity for them to treat me like dirt.

I had a terrible experience dealing with Bulwark, I had an ant problem so I scheduled them to come out to my apartment between 4-7pm on a Tuesday afternoon. 7:30 rolls around and no one showed up! I called them asking them if there was gonna be an exterminator coming anytime soon and they said their exterminator had to cancel because of a family emergency. I get it and completely understand that emergencies happen and that takes precedent, but you know a phone call would suffice that the appointment needs to be a rescheduled... not me calling you!! Nonetheless the representative helping me on the phone was very nice and they promised to reschedule my appointment for a time that would work for me and it would be for free. I rescheduled the appointment for the following Saturday in the mid afternoon. They (bulwark) said they would show up between 3-6pm. So Saturday comes and it’s almost 6 and no one from bulwark has shown up... so I call them and the representative said that the exterminator had to cancel again because the gate to my apartment was closed, and there was no way to enter.... THERE IS NO GATE TO MY APARTMENT!!!! They said they would have to reschedule for a 3rd time. Bulwark I’m tired of freeing up my time for you guys to not show up even if the service is for free, so you have lost any future business with this customer. The only reason I don’t give you 0 out of 5 stars is that your customer service representatives were polite and respectful.
