Alliance Environmental Group - Seattle

My company has used Alliance Environmental (prior to that it was called Thermatech) for many years. Like all companies, including mine, some projects are challenging and some projects run smoothly. Overall, Alliance has been a great business partner as we always find a way to get through the challenging projects when they present themselves. Unfortunately, when it comes to regulated hazards, there are many "fly by night" companies that put profits over health and safety. However, the old cliche is true 'you pay for what you get'. In a world where customers are quick to write impulsive negative reviews to satisfy their emotional outbursts, I think it is important for us ALL to take a minute out of our busy days to also write about the good experiences. I truly am a satisfied customer, and will update this review if that is not the case in the future. Update May 2026. I am no longer using this company. It went from great, to good, now to bad. Even their previous project manager left due to quality issues. I won't say anymore and this is my opinion only.

Great company! We didn't know where to begin when we found out our flooring contained asbestos. But Alliance removed it all within two days and we feel much safer. Highly recommend. Will use again.

Our house is old and we know the dangers of demo projects and certain materials. Erik and Alliance took care of everything quickly, safely and professionally! Great Service!

Alliance came in and really took care of things! The whole process from start to finish was quick and painless. We will definitely call Erik again in the future for other abatement needs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I had Josh come out to assess mold in my attic after another company told me I needed costly remediation. Josh was incredibly thorough and honest—he inspected the attic carefully and confirmed there was no mold present, and no remediation was necessary. I really appreciated his integrity and professionalism. It’s rare to find someone who doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. Highly recommend Josh if you want an honest second opinion!

We hired Alliance to do some work for the apartment communities I manage in Tacoma. Josh was extremely responsive and quick getting the work scheduled and completed. His follow up was as wonderful. Thank you Alliance and crew, look forward to working with you again. Angela S.

I work in the space where we have extremely high expectations and performance demands. Alliance is my go to partner for remediation and abatements. They listen, make corrections if needed (we are a high demanding customer) and overall are outstanding doing to work with. Erik is the PM handling most of my projects; very responsive, efficient, welcoming and professional. 10/10 and I’m hard to please.

Erik, and Alliance were instrumental in addressing environmental issue at a property I oversee in a prompt and efficient manner at a very reasonable cost. I would absolutely recommend them as the highest caliber in their profession.

Not sure what is happening to get the bad reviews, looks like residential people and abatement can give home owners shell shock, I dont know. But I do commercial contracting in public works which is a pain and they have been indispensable, so for any commercial contractors looking at this, you should be a-ok.

I'm GC and I found this company on FB. After reading their good reviews there, I called them and everything was fine, at the beginning... Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough and after 2 more weeks and several calls and emails I couldn't get a quote for my client(( Probably their manager Colby was TOO BUSY (despite 2 of his emails with confirmation that he'll send it to me asap), and finally I received nothing. Sad...

Very knowledgeable an passionate about their duties as an asbestos abatement worker they don't mess around they get the work done professionally
