Dylan was quick and to the point about the inspection and nothing for me to worry about. I paid Dylan cash since was aware of tipping. 😊 The last two questions below is questionable. Are they for the individual that came to the residence for the inspection. Are for the renewal inspection you do each year. Kind of confusing in a way for questions 2&3. When an exterminating charges $85 for a 12 minute service, there is no way it can be thorough. Plainly a ripoff. Can't afford this high dollar company.

I set up an appointment to have someone come look at my house to get a quote for extermination services, was given a window from 8-12 and no one showed up, no one called and I wasted four hours of my day off waiting for a no show. Very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.

Very tricky people.... Estimate 3 times higher from other companies No scope of work or list of repairs to be done... This one of those companies thought big numbers to make salers pay for.....not trustful at all

However, we do feel that our price for the work to be done was fair, as it would have been done efficiently, properly and up to building code. Once again, we regret that your experience with our company was anything less than 5 star.
There was no experience. They never showed up for the appointment. Never called, nothing. I won't be recommending them to anyone. First impressions count and theirs sucked.

My experience with this company is that they charge you $250 to have a termite bond changed into your name when you buy a home that has a modern termite bond. This is crazy if you ask me. I don’t mind paying for a service, but changing a name on a termite bond should not cost $250. Especially when you consider that you have to pay at least $100 for a termite letter when you buy the home. If I could change companies, I would. The problem is that it costs $750-1000 to have a new company start up a new termite bond. Modern knows this and is taking advantage of the situation. I will not be using them for anything but the termite bond. I will try and make sure to tell other people to stay away from modern as well.

Our $250 transfer fee is a standard fee that we charge to transfer all of our termite guarantees into the name of the new owner. We apologize if you have an issue with this policy. Not happy.
I called for my yearly inspection and set my appointment for a Friday which no one showed because no results were left on the door like I was told would be so I called Monday at noon and was told someone would call me right back I waited till 3:30 still never heard from anyone so I called back they again said someone will call me now it's Tuesday around 3:20 still no one has called so I called back again and guess what I was told someone will call me still have not heard back from them
I originally had an extremely bad introduction with Modern Exterminating when trying to transfer the termite bond on a purchased property, but the owner Glenn Matthews III personally reached out to me to help. However, I felt like after transferring the bond to my name everything would have been fine but it has been four (04) weeks now and my floors are still messed up from the termites. I am the one who has to reach out for a follow up to see what is going on and each time I am told that they are backed up. In fact I don't even know the plan on what is going to happen to my floors as nobody will communicate with me since the bond is now in my name. Its like they wanted their money and then forgot about me.
The staff suggested a date I could not be there and came anyway and did a treatment not requested! Shameful! Consumers beware.
