Listen. I heard something in my attic and called these guys to come check it out! Very professional, thorough, HONEST, and don’t try to take your money. These guys were the real deal, just good people! Will be using them for my vent screening in the near future! Thank you for the visit !

I called this company on 5/8/26 after it was discovered that there was an opossum with babies under the decking of a shed I was having removed from my backyard. They responded immediately when I called. They explained what the removal process would like, what their services include, how long to expect and the cost. All involved were very professional and super nice without the owner. They were equally consistent when the owner of the company was accompanied them. I also liked the fact that on day one after setting the traps, they walked around my home and made recommendations for other things that I needed to do to prevent other rodents or pest from possibly making entry under my home. I hired them to do that work and feel so much better about the preventive measures that were made. This company is very effective and personable. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs wildlife removal services!

The folks at Blythewood Wildlife Removal are incredible!! Just needed them to take a walk around the outside of my house, check in my attic and in crawl spaces to make sure that all things were sealed well and that we had no “visitors” before a home inspection. They scheduled me within 12 hours of requesting an appointment. They were professional, knowledgeable and very informed. They were able to easily answer all of my questions in terms that I could understand. They even complemented me on my clean attic!! I will call Kevin again if I ever have any concerns or need his services. If you have any issues or suspect that you do, Blythewood Wildlife Removal is whom you need to call!

Paid an exorbitant amount of money to have bats removed from my attics. They came and sealed off one section and it’s been over a year since and they still have not removed the bats from my other attic space.

I had an appointment today with Mr. Kevin Opalpin from Blythewood Wildlife Removal. After I explained my concerns about my residence, Kevin went into the attic to check for squirrels or any other wildlife that might have been present. Once he came down, we went outside and he walked the property, checking the rooflines to make sure there was no evidence of entry. When he finished, he informed me that there was no activity at all in my attic or on the exterior structure around my roof. Another company had come out the day before and told me there was squirrel activity in my attic and quoted me more than $5,000 for the job. I’m grateful Kevin was honest and explained what was truly going on. I sincerely thank Mr. Kevin for his professionalism and integrity, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs this service.

I cannot say enough good things about Blythewood Wildlife Removal. Today I was cat sitting for a friend. Somehow, the cat got stuck behind my dishwasher, and I was completely at my wits’ end and panicking. I probably cried a little too because the cat is diabetic and needed his insulin shot and I didn’t know if he would come out any time soon. Even though they primarily handle wildlife and not domestic cats, the owner took my call, listened to my situation, and showed an incredible amount of compassion. He did not hang up on me and stayed on the phone the entire time, calmly talking me through what to do until we were able to get the cat out safely. That level of kindness, patience, and professionalism is so rare. He could have easily said “We don’t handle cats,” and ended the call, but instead he chose to help someone in distress and it made all the difference. If you are looking for a company run by people who truly cares about animals AND people, I highly recommend Blythewood Wildlife Removal. I am beyond grateful!

Kevin and John provided excellent service for animals who had gotten into our crawl space. They removed the pests and further sealed our original cast iron crawl space vents. They were very responsive and did good work. Impressed with their communication and quality of work. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! They go above and beyond and are very experienced and care about the animal. They got a trapped baby squirrel out of our fireplace. Kevin is going to nourish it back to health then allow it to go back into nature when it’s ready. I’ve also used them for bat issues. I know I can depend on them to take care of the issue and Kevin responds quickly to calls/texts.

I had a snake in my apartment at 5:30am this morning. By 8:00am it was out of my apartment! Excellent service!

EDIT: I am revising my review as this company did not take my bat to DHEC for rabies testing on the day it was captured, as promised. In fact, they took a bat to DHEC **6 days later - and that was only after I called DHEC and DHEC intervened.** Needless to say, this is terribly negligent - and the whole situation is questionable. . . . . . . . . They deserve more than 5 stars. Kevin is fantastic. We had a bat in our laundry room at 10:30pm. I called and Kevin answered the late night call - he was kind and patient. They do offer emergency after hours services, but I decided to wait until morning because I had closed the room off. Kevin and his team came out first thing in the morning, took the bat/will send to DHEC, checked for the source of entry (loose dryer vent) and corrected the issue. They checked other spaces as well to ensure that there was not a larger problem. Kevin was fast, effective, and great to work with. Problem solved by 9:30 the next morning. Absolutely recommend this company.

Kevin’s team got rid of our squirrel in the chimney 🐿️ and fixed the issue. Easy to call and talk about the issue, called a couple of times late at night. Squirrel extraction and fix were about $600.

I am not from South Carolina, not familiar with the area, and never had this experience. While cooking in my kitchen last night an opossum walked across the counter. After calling 5 shops and getting the run around, Blythewood Wildlife Removal came to my apartment within an hour. Kevin was professional, kind, respectful of my space and efficient. Not only did he quickly capture the possum he found another!! Both babies were removed and he just called to say he was returning in about an hour to handle the outside of our building and come back to my apartment to seal the hole and prevent any further issues. Quick seamless experience and very kind. Thank you!

Kevin and John did a fantastic job by responding to our critters. Their expertise gave us the confidence that we needed to be able to redirect the wildlife where they should be. They are also skilled into repairing some small damages that the critters left. Even though the critters were not actually caught they were deterred into their natural habit and into places that they could be cared for so that they could be introduced fairly back into wildlife if you are an animal lover.

Kevin came out the same day on a Sunday with his wonderful colleague. He sealed two bathroom exhaust vents after removing nest materials before the birds could return.

Kevin came out right at the time he said he would; and removed the sick raccoon in our yard very quickly and HUMANELY. The service was great and he is very knowledgeable and a cool guy. If any more wildlife issues occur again I'll call him!

Excellent communication and service! Kevin and John did an awesome job cleaning and sanitizing an area on my front porch that was damaged by bat droppings. They also help resolve issues with mice in the crawlspace.

I called about a squirrel issue assuming they'd come out and at least charge for a service fee. No! Over the phone they made suggestions on how to deal with the problem. What? Who does that? Very impressive. I hope they'll be no further needs but if there are, I will absolutely call them.
