Everything seemed to go great. There was a yellow jacket nest under the siding of the dormer on my daughter's bedroom. Amber came out quick, found the nest and hit it from inside and outside. She was very nice to my daughter who stuck by her and was very curious about the process which I thought was awesome, answering all of her questions. Grateful for that part, as my daughter likes to be a part of any work done at the house. Amber was also very clean and tidy up in her room which was also great. A super duper experience all around, and I haven't seen much action at the siding since she left so hopefully they're all nuked and that's that.

Really upsetting experience considering most of the reviews are so good… When I initially called, they said they were booked up for like a month. That’s fine- I said I’d wait. When they finally sent someone out to look and give me a quote, I wasn’t home but my boyfriend (co-homeowner) was. They wouldn’t give him any info and said they would just email me the quote. Never heard from them again. Still have wasps. Frustrating that I wasted my time, thinking this company would come through.

According to our records, our technician visited your property on June 8 and provided a quote for a partial house treatment to your partner. At that time, we were informed that he would be discussing it with you and would get back to us.<br><br>As a policy, we only email estimates for commercial properties. For residential services, we typically provide quotes in person. We also followed up with a call on June 18 and were again told that the decision was still under discussion.<br><br>Since we aim to be a no-pressure company, we leave the next steps in our clients’ hands. We were hoping you would reach out if you had any further questions or were ready to proceed. I called Bee Control yesterday and spoke with Steve, the Owner, about a problem I was having. He sent Jeremiah and Amber out today which I very much appreciated. They were timely, did a thorough evaluation, discussed it with me, informed me of the treatment cost, and left the rest up to me. They were wonderful. I found them both to be friendly, thorough, and very helpful. They discuss everything with you up front. I have used this company before and will use them again. They are who I call when I have a problem. They do exactly what they say they will do. Excellent company, very helpful owner.

I called on a Friday morning to set up a service call for what I thought was a small bees nest. I got an appointment for the next day. The nest was larger than I thought and not just on the outside, but also inside in my kitchen ceiling. Jeremiah explained exactly what he was going to do before he did it and was able to identify the bees as yellow jackets. He took care of our problems quickly and efficiently. This is the second time we have used this company as the previous year we had a nest by our front door. I would highly recommend and will use again in the future.

got rid of the bees for awhile but ghosted me when they came back within the warranty period. now i have to pay someone else.

If all companies operated like this, it would be so much easier owning a home! Yesterday, I found a hornet's nest outside of my daughter's second story window. In trying to figure out how to get rid of that one, I found another nest hanging from a branch 20 feet about my yard. I contemplated trying to remove them myself, but thought I should call around on and get some estimates to see if I could find a professional to deal with the hard to reach locations. I called Bee Control that Saturday morning and left a message. My call was returned within 5 minutes. The man who responded was incredibly helpful and provided me with an estimate. To be honest, the estimate was less than I expected. He was able to send a technician, Jeremiah, out that afternoon. I could tell Jeremiah had a ton of experience, but he explained things in a simple, easy-to-understand way that I could totally follow. He brought ladders and extension poles and performed several steps to kill the hornets and remove the next. I watched from the window and thought, "Thank god I didn't try to do this myself." Afterwards, guess how many extra services he tried to sell me? NONE. No monthly maintenance plans, no extra sprays, NOTHING. And the cost was what had been quoted to me on the phone. I wish all companies operated like this... super responsive, employs good people (and does what it takes to retain good people), and treats customers with respect.

I used to struggle a lot with bees when I contracted a national company to do the bee treatment. Stephen and his crew (this time it was Brian) have saved my day! They are impressively knowledgeable, responsible and reasonable. Brian would go extra miles to ensure all the potential spots, like the rocks that were designed to stick out of the wall, were treated. Highly recommend such a capable, honest and pleasant local company!

Steve with Bee Control is awesome. The first time we used his service was when we had a nest of yellowjackets in our walls. They were all through the house. Steve came out for emergency removal and took care of them. We then continued to use his service for all stinging insects around our property for a few years until we moved to a different area. I highly recommend Steve any time anyone mentions a stinging insect issue.

This guy came back and repeated twice, it was a huge nest. Very professional, will man hire him again
They are not accepting new clients, waste of my time looking through their reviews and calling them. Only found out by a message on their answering machine. This information should be reflected on their website.

You called at 5:17 am today and got that voicemail. This is the busiest time of the year and since you were calling us at 5:17 am, we are assuming you found out that this is an exceptional year for all stinging insects. Since we do offer prevention programs and guarantees to our current clients, we will always prioritize current clients to new callers. Our ability to accept new clients is evaluated daily. I am wondering if you cannot get a reservation at a popular restaurant, do you leave them a bad review?

We posted the following response on Facebook the same day that you posted that you emailed us and we did not respond yet and inquired whether or not we serviced the Bulger, Washington County area:<br>"We do service the area however it is an extremely busy time for the staff and they do not always get a chance to respond to emails and website forms. It is always best to call them directly at 412.765.0335 for a quicker response."<br>Obviously we wish that we could service every person that reaches out to us. However, this time of year we work twelve hour days and sometimes we still cannot get to every potential customer who calls us. We get an abundance of emails and answer them in the order they are received. All emails do get an auto-response informing you that if you have an emergency, it is best to call us.<br>We hope that you were able to have your paper wasps taken care of and we are truly sorry that we were not able to help you in a timely manner. Be wary of this company. What you are told and what you are charged for could be different. I hired them to remove an underground yellow jacket nest and was told that the nest would be dug up. I was very clear about the location of the nest near my air conditioner and was told that area was "as common as common can be". When the tech came to perform the service, they dug around the nest just enough to ruin the grass but ultimately did not remove the it as I was told. Only insecticide was used and it did not work because the nest was very deep. The nest remained active for over a week and I had to purchase insecticide and apply it myself. I called the company and expressed my concern about the nest remaining but was given differing explanations than when I first called. I find out later that someone from this company entered my property once again without my knowledge or authorization to dig up the nest (as they were supposed to originally). I found out this out because of the chunks of yellow jacket nest left all over the location. Never received a call or an explanation. Moreover, they left rocks, chunks of grass, and dirt all over the area. Not to mention the gaping hole where the nest was - the work was unprofessional and lazy. If you are paying a company $250 to remove a nest, they should take care of it from beginning to end. Choose another company.
Rude and has no time for questions. I have a little one who is ill and im very weary of chemicals around the house. He made me feel like a bother when i asked questions. When someone arrived they were also rude and i was charges an extra $100 than what was said on phone for an underground nest removal.
