Chris was new to my house. I have crazy dogs that bark at any strangers. He did a great job doing the work. But I just don't need to be informed about everything that's happening. He let me know when he was here, and that's all I needed to know!

Insight pest solutions has been our go to when we have any problems with critters! They always do above and beyond when they come out. I had a emergency situation with some critters getting under my house. They had someone scheduled and were out here with in one day. Even when we weren't using them and had let our contract expire they were still so nice and talked to me and answered my questions and led me in a direction to fix my situation. The service worker they had come out was so polite and got right to it. He explained everything and was such a delight to have. (Thanks Brandon) One last thing, I needed my payment to be pushed out until I got paid and they were so understanding and polite to my situation and helped me be able to afford the services. So thankful for pest solutions

I’ve been with Insight for almost two years and I’m a big fan. Everyone who has come out has been great to work with and Caden has been the one to come out more recently and he is friendly and does a great job. Today he had to do a return visit to check my crawl space for rodent activity which luckily turned out to be old. I appreciate how thorough the team always is.

I would have given a way better review, but when you nicely ask for them to close your account they can't seem to get the message or do so. I asked to cancel weeks ago and they still haven't done so. What is really bad with them is the fact that when you try to call them and actually speak to a person you can not get one!!! So I want people out there to know my experience is not turning into a good one with this company. I would think twice before taking this company on.

They do not tell you about the contract early termination fee that is nearly $400. I only wanted a one time service and was later told the fee can only be waived 3 days prior to actual service. I only had one day since they did it the next day. Thanks a lot David. As nice as you were, I would've never agreed to such a contract like that and you knew that because i was unemployed at that time. Now I'm getting harassed with calls for payment, but I'm sorry, I refuse to pay that amount for one service. It also took them about 4 months to finally reach out. Ridiculous.
Work was fine. But chatted up my lady for over an hour while I was gone before actually doing any work. I would not like this individual at my home again if possible. Vin.

The technician did not knock to let me know he was here. I do not know what he sprayed for exactly. Is this how it goes, just show up, no knock on door, and ask for a good rating? I am willing to give INSIGHT a five star rating once the ant problem is gone.

⭐️ 1 Star I canceled my service with Insight Pest Control – Portland, and after cancellation my card was charged nearly $500 without my authorization. This charge was not approved and should never have happened. When I contacted customer service, the experience was extremely unprofessional. The issue was not handled appropriately, and I was left to deal with an unauthorized charge on my own. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company monitor their billing closely. Based on how this was handled, I believe Insight Pest Control’s billing practices deserve further review by the Better Business Bureau.

When the service rep came to our door and we signed up we were told we could cancel at anytime we wanted , we canceled after the first service because bills were tight and it wasn’t a issue at all to cancel according to the lady I spoke with on the phone . Fast forward 4 months later I had someone call and say that we couldn’t cancel and we have to carry the payment plan out for the year for 49$ a month and if we wanted to cancel it would be a total of 299$. And the guy that called me today said that there working on getting body cams for their sales reps so this doesn’t happen again. How are you gonna make someone re cancel and pay a fee when we canceled months ago and it was an issue that makes absolutely NO SENSE (Very unprofessional and not honest). Bills are very tight it’s Christmas time and we have two children and here they are calling 4 months later about something that was already handled. I would stay away from this company if you can just my honest opinion.

This company is a SCAM!!! If anybody from their team tries to sell you a membership SLAM YOUR DOOR IN THEIR FACE!!! They sent a nice guy to my door to sell me on removing pests for $79 a month and told me that I could cancel anytime with 0 fees. They just charged me $550 without my authorization and don't return calls. SCAM!!!

I liked Caden, he was a very nice young man. However I was not impressed with Insight as a company. I was excited when I could cancel permanently.

Don't be fooled by what they promise. Read BBB and other reviews....there are A LOT of negative complaints. I wish I had of read them because I would have NEVER hired Insight Pest Solutions. After the home inspector said there was sign of rats in the crawl space & attic we hired Insight to exterminate for rodents and insects. On the 1st visit, Insight staff did not know what he should do, said he had "never" been in an attic before, and did not complete the job nor was there any reduction of pests with what he did do. After I told Insight what happened, Insight tried to tell me that they typically never go into attics because insects do not inhabit there because of "no food or water" to sustain them. I told him we hired them specifically because of rat sign in the attic, he said "oh, rats" and scheduled another staff to come (who was 7 hours late). This Insight staff sprayed and set rat traps. But again with no positive results. Still rodent sign, spiders and ants. Previously, I was told that if a rat was caught, Insight would come the same day to get it. I called to report the ant problem and NEVER received a call back. I doubt Insight would have come to dispose a a decomposing rat in the 100 degree heat. After these incidents, I wrote an email explaining the problems and said I did not want to continue with Insight services. They tried to encourage me to continue which I declined. Then said I would have to pay a cancellation fee if I discontinued. Then promptly Insight charged a $564 cancellation fee. This is going to be a hardship for my husband and I because we are over 70 and live on a fixed income. So please reconsider before hiring Insight. They promise and fail to deliver then charge big when you cancel.

The salesman that came to our door promised specific coverages and guarantees that sparked our interest. So much so we signed up knowing the cost this company was higher than our current company. When the tech arrived an hour later, he stated that they do not in fact provide that service. Communication with customer service is awful and even though they admit the salesperson lied, they will demand you pay the full cancellation fee, even if you call within 3 days after the contract and try to work with them. They take weeks to return calls and then hold you to timeframes and previous commitments. I'm disappointed in the customer service as I feel I tried to work with them after they admitted that their salesperson was untruthful in the end I was so frustrated with them.
