I love that Saela uses products that are safe for dogs. I also love that they will come out for free if you need help in between quarterly visits.

Semaj took extra time and effort to explain and to solve problems, gave good advice. The.other ones who came before did not seem to have as much knowledge as Semaj has, and sometimes I didn't even see them although I'm housebound due to health issues.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN THE SALEM-PORTLAND OREGON AREA. They consistently do not show up. I have used vacation time no less than 4 days (or partial days) and they never show up for their 4 hour schedule window. Not only am I afraid that I will have rodents in my house (that is very nice and clean) and have not slept of fear that they are not under control, but I have much less vacation time to use because of this horrible company. I try to contact their local number and it is disconnected. I call their central office, and though helpful (to what they are able to do), you can tell they are not from Portland. I am starting to think the local company is a scam or not ran by people that the umbrella company would approve. PLEASE DO NOT USE.

Will never work with them again. The upselling is ridiculous. I then tried to cancel for several months and I was unable to get a hold of a manager. I finally got a hold of someone and then they proceeded to try to sell me on another service for 30min. I kept asking just to cancel and that I no longer wanted service but they continued to try to offer me something else rather than listening. This occurred with a representative and then with the manager. I understand trying to save a customer but after multiple refusals, you should actually listen to your customers.

bad customer service they told my mom a set price for 12 months contract and sent over a 24 month contract instead the first guy to come out did half the job and said they would be back in two weeks to follow up they didn’t come back for almost a month my mom called them several time to cancel but the customer service kept on saying they were going to charge us for 50% of the contract cost for terminating the contract past 3 days and she called to cancel in those three days second guy came out and we told them what the first. Guy did he called his manager and told him what happened and the manager was supposed to get ahold of us and never did contacted the company back talk to a manager, and they kept on referring to the contract that we didn’t cancel within the three days Then told us about the 24 month contract and we told him it was supposed to be a 12 month contract Their customer service messed up and sent over 24 month contract not a 12 month contract so what they did was for compensation or whatever they put us back on a 12 month contract and gave us a $50 discoun Further companies mess up Now I have to pay for a 12 month contract Bad customer service bad representation Bad information will definitely not recommend this company to anybody else

Been with them for a couple of years. Very nice when they come out. Then we had wasps build a nest. I called and e-mailed. No answer for days. They say 24 hours open and when I just called they said they are closed on Sundays and open on Monday. I have a grandchild at the house and I need these wasps out of here. I'm cancelling and I'm calling around to find someone.

This company is a scam. They charge your account every money without customer knowledge. When you try to cancel your account, they will refuse and hang up on you over and over again. They will not transfer to a manager. This company is an actual nightmare.

Not sure how they got good reviews but my experience with their service has been a waste of money and time. Neither spider nor ants get resolved after one year of services. They continue to schedule services even after the contract ended. You have to call them to stop and they will delay the cancellations with all sorts of excuses and it almost felt like a scam to me. Stay away from them!

UPDATE 4-16-2025 THEY STILL HAVE NOT PICKED UP THEIR MOLE AND RAT TRAPS. THEY REFUSE TO LET ME TALK TO SOMEONE THAT WORKS IN OREGON TO ARRANGE A PICK UP DATE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I reached out because I had moles on the side of my house as well as rats starting to come from under the house. Saela Pest Control explained their services and cost over the phone and it all sounded fine. When they arrived they mentioned that the technician on the phone didn't charge me appropriately and that I needed to pay $50 dollars more. I agreed to pay because I just wanted the service to start. They put rat and mole traps throughout my property and treated for spiders and bugs (this was included in the service). I paid over $500 on the first visit. He explained they would come back 4 times within 30 days to check them and if the moles didn't get caught they would smoke them out. On the 2nd visit the technician tells me the rat traps would take 6-8 weeks before potentially working? They came out a few times and never caught a rat or mole. Here I am over 2 months later and they have not smoked them out and have not caught a single rat or mole. They are now saying they will come out for free to smoke them out. Of course it should be for free since I paid for it and never received it! They broke their contract but are refusing to give me a partial refund for the horrible service and non completion of the service that I paid for. I had been texting 3 different phone numbers from all the previous technicians that have come out for over 2 weeks and no one will respond. It even shows that they have read all the texts. Not to mention they make you sign a contract for quarterly service. I agreed to that in the hopes the services would have worked. They came out 18 days after my first visit to treat for spiders and bugs and charged me almost $200 again! In the contract it says they would come out approximately 28 days after first service for 2nd treatment. When I called they apologized and said they will give me half off on my next treatment. I agreed because that was a reasonable solution. Called them on 11-5-2024 to cancel service and try to get partially refunded. They refuse to refund anything but did cancel my service. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND PEST CONTROL TECHNIQUES. IM NOT SURE IF THEY TRULY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. SAELA PEST CONTROL IS VERY SHADY AND I RECOMMEND CHECKING OUT OTHER COMPANIES BEFORE SIGNING THEIR CONTRACT.

The service people that came out were always amazing, they would get 5 + stars, it’s the billing and account management as a company that is deserving the low ratings. I was charged for a service that did not happen and had proof from security cameras, they would not refund my money and battled me for weeks. Having multiple escalation managers or specialists call me and try to word salad me into withdrawing my fraud claim.

This is absolutely ridiculous service. Multiple texts and calls are placed telling that I don’t want someone here when I am not home. They tell me they made notes on my account but my wishes aren’t being met. I am 6 months pregnant and have appointments on Fridays and they keep showing up to my house after I ask to make an appointment before stopping by with me and not just schedule at there own conscience. I feel completely harassed. To make things worse there phone service is terrible and hard to connect with anyone about issues and you can’t cancel your service without multiple fines. Never have I had so many issues with a company. Now after not being home, I get a message to rate Randy’s service when I was in an appointment and not here to see them on my property.

**8/3/2024 - updated review** I left their service person a good review when they came out, but in terms of business practice, they are as shady as they get. I can not recommend staying away from this company enough. Here are a couple reasons. 1. They are grossly overpriced. We got an estimate from a local competitor that has been in business for many years, and their service is literally $100 less per billing period. 2. Their sales people have communicated with me about expanding my service, and when I text them back asking for how to cancel our service, they do not answer. When I called, I had to go through a whole process of speaking to their first line customer service representative, then sat on hold for 30 minutes to speak to another representative about cancelling. This is straight up bully practice. They want to bully you into keeping your service rather than acquiescing to your cancellation request on a month to month service. It's shady, it's bad business, and I swear I will never touch Saela with a 10 foot pole again. Stay far away from this company, they just want your money and don't care about actually providing you service. ---- Randy did a great job. He was really communicative before the appointment, checked in when he arrived, and took great care of us.
