Beware of this company's practices as they target vulnerable people. My grandmother was recently targeted as they called without being prompted and asked if she would like yard services, which she declined. Regardless, they showed up and performed yard services without her authorization and attempted to bill her for said services. Again, beware of this company. They prey on vulnerable people to sell their product.

Sold out to trugreen. There is a reason I got rid of them 10 plus years ago due to the driver sitting in the truck and leaving an invoice without ever applying any chemical. Way to portray yourself as a family business and sell out. Hope it was a good payday.

No Longer Turf Point. I have used Turf Point for a couple years now and was quite happy. I discovered weeds within the last couple weeks. When I called to ask about them addressing it I found out they sold out to TruGreen at the end of July. Well I have some history with TruGreen and you should read their reviews. I will not be a customer once this contract expires.

Rarely keeps lawn application appointments and I have to call them back frequently to keep rescheduling.

To expensive for what you get

UPDATE #4: My apologies to Turf Point and especially to Jacques for the tardiness of this update. After working with Jacques and identifying the issues. One issue was from the accidental burning by Turf Point treatment which was outside temperature related and the second was my over watering the yard our lawn is BACK. IT HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS GREAT! Thank you Turf Point for a great lawn. UPDATE #3: My yard is starting to bounce back as the supervisor stated. I posted pictures of it being burned and I will post pics once it has returned to what it did look like but they may not show everyone on the review page. So I've changed my rating to a 3 star. UPDATE #2: It took 3 calls to Tur Point to finally get a supervisor out to look at how they burned the lawn. So I rate them down on customer service. Also since the guys applying the herbicide did not stop to think at 90 degrees outdoor temperature would burn the lawn I lower their rating. But on the upside when supervisor did come out he wait for me to return home, accepted the responsibility for my lawn being burnt, explained what happen, and finally promised to reseed my lawn if the lawn did not grow back. For that reason Turf Point 5 star is now a 2 star but they have the chance to win my trust again. UPDATE: I made contact with Turf Point yesterday about how my beautiful green lawn is now brown 2 days after a recent treatment from their company. I was told a supervisor would contact me today concerning the issue. Well I'll wait until 1 pm before calling back. Photos to be posted later. PAST POST: Recently I switch from Tru Green to Turf Point. For two years, Tru Green could not get my lawn completely GREEN. In one application Turf Point has our lawn as GREEN as it has ever been. Thanks for NOTHING Tru Green. By the way, over the two years, Tru Green continued to offer us FREE services to maintain us as clients. Just because it's FREE does not get your lawn GREEN. Turf Point promised results and delivered with ONE application. Turf Point has an exclusive mix for homes in the Carriage Trail area. Once again, ONE application and Turf Point delivered as promised. after paying for 3 rounds of application and over $150, my neighbors yard, with no treatment, looked better. Canceling my service was like jumping through hoops and 3 months later they are sending me new bills because they are so unorganized.

Disgusting lack of communication!

These guys made a believer of me. Within the first year the lawn was greener, fuller, AND completely free of weeds. Had an okay lawn to start with, but despite best efforts it had weeds especially in summer. Turf point treatments = no.weeds.

I switched to Turf Point this year (2020), because I was encouraged by all of the reviews. I have since come to regret that decision. I paid about $98 for one treatment, to try them out before paying for the rest of the season. Not only did that treatment fail to kill and stop weeds from growing, but they killed my grass in five spots by applying too much chemical. When a manager came out because I raised concerns about the lack of weed control and other damage to my yard (their application vehicle slid on a hill in my yard, creating a couple bald spots), he admitted those five brown patches in my yard were caused by them, and that the grass was dead. He reseeded the areas mentioned above, and told me in 10 days they would come out to reapply their product to take care of the weeds that remained, which was all the weeds that were there before plus new ones. They offered me free future services, but I turned them down. I wanted them to prove they could actually get the job done in my yard first. Fast forward 10 days (16 June 2020) and they come out to reapply. Fast forward another 10 days and you see the pictures below, current as of 26 June 2020. I am now seeing weeds grow in parts of my yard never before present in the 3 years I’ve lived here. I called and asked for a refund for the original application. The lady I spoke with on 25 June said she would forward to an owner for approval. The lady I spoke with on 26 June said she had no records of a refund request. I explained to her the situation and she said “we already provided you free seed touch up and reapplication.” The company already states, at the time of sign up, if their treatment doesn’t take care of weeds, they will come back free of charge. So this wasn’t some out of the way expense they provided to me personally, it’s a warranty they offer built into their business model. Same as any defective product you buy from a store. As for the seed touch up, that was done because they killed my grass. Again, not them going above and beyond. They were attempting to make up for a mistake THEY created. Also, all they provide is seed. Paying for the water to help the seed grow is up to the homeowner. Lucky for me, I live in a part a Dayton with one of the highest costs for water. No, they don’t help cover the water bill. So after explaining everything to her, she said all she could do was forward it to an owner, the exact same thing the lady said the day before. I’m going to keep calling for my refund, because as of now, all I did was pay Turf Point $98 for the pleasure of killing my grass and letting weeds grow.

Schedules a service twice no call and no show When i called to see why they did not do the service or called me to reschedule. Their respond was Idk maybe they’ll call you now and they had to reschedule it because of the wether. Bad customer service

I had by far the worst yard known to man, in my opinion. After just one application my yard starting filling out and grew like a weed, with NO weeds! I am hooked after just one app, won't go with anyone else nor will I let my yard go untreated ever again!

Our lawn has had issues, to say the least! We have kids running and playing on it and three large dogs that play all day long and they had taken a real toll on it. Turf Point came out numerous times, working with us to get our lawn back into good health. This year our lawn looks incredible! It’s lush, full, healthy and just beautiful! Turf Point techs were patient with all our issues, letting us know they were confident they could get us where we wanted to be. I can’t say enough good things about this company!

We were using a lawn care service that we were very happy with, then all of sudden this company came in and took over. Last fall i was home and i noticed that they took out a four wheeler from the truck and loaded it with fertilizer and ran all over our yard, throwing fertilizer on both my front and back decks, and the sidewalk. They did not try to avoid these areas, or clean these areas up, as we have 2 dogs and they area aware of them. Then they came back at the end of the season and aerated the yard without inquiring if we wanted it done, leaving a dug up mess in our yard that this spring was still there. I called at this time and spoke with a lady in the office and told them what had happened and that we were not happy and did not want their service any longer and not to come back in the spring. March 2, 2020, Turf Point came back while we were gone, they did not call and let us know they were coming just showed up, and did an "Early Spring Application" on our yard and left a bill of $56.00. I came into the house and called them and spoke with Andy. I tom him that I cancelled our account with them in the fall of 2019 and that I had spoken with a lady but could not remember her name, and that I am not going to pay for this treatment. He said he had no notes about this in his system. I told him that this was not my fault and that I was not Paying this bill and that I had already hired another service. He said that he would take care of this and we hung up. Last week before Easter this company called stating that they would be coming out and wanted to know when they were going to get paid for the last treatment and I again told them that I am not going to pay them for that service and that I had told Andy, in his office this, and that I do not want them back on the property. Great company. After the first year my grass looks fake it looks so good. Keeping them again this year. Plus side it is safe for the family and pets. Had no issues with my dogs or kids with egzama. Keep up the good work.

This is a great local company that really cares and does an amazing job! Way surpasses all the like companies I've used in the past. You really can't beat the customer service, and Quality!
