I made a very poor choice to pay Expert Pest $106 to tell me what I already knew (I had termites). What I did not know was the astronomical charge if they were to treat the pests (over $2,000) and that treatment only came with a one year warranty. If I wanted the five year warranty I would need to have an annual inspection (over $300 each year). Needless to say I have sought other options and found them to be much more cost effective. Scott and Mark came out to secure my home. We had a new roof installed recently, and I'd heard some suspicious activity up there a few months after. They did a fantastic job of showing me photos of all the places that were vulnerable, up and down to the foundation, even sealing with concrete a cracked gap in my front steps where critters were trying to enter. So please to give an honest and positive review for this family business. For a house that was infested with bed bugs and was told the worst infestation ever they went above and beyond communication, follow through, the way they conducted themselves in a courteous and business like manner on top of the affordable pricing given. I was so pleased with the help that I received from McVeen & Sons'! Not only were they professional, but they truly cared, and reassured me that all would be well (and it was!). The tech, James, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and had an abundance of patience with my elderly father. He was very thorough with the treatment and even inspected the house for any evidence of additional issues. My father said he “can sleep through the night again” now that the house has been treated.
