Critter Control of Dayton

I was hoping the whole siding board would be covered, there were some gaps that still weren't covered, and now I have another hole on the other side of the siding board just 15 inches away from what was covered as there was still a gap there,

Critter Control came to my house in less than 24 hours when I called them. There was hole in my roof, around the fireplace chimney, half covered by a shingle. That afternoon, I heard noise, or sounded like squirrels or worse yet...raccoons! Pete came out, set traps on the roof and group, where they remained for about 5 days...until today (11-13-25). No animals took the "bait" inside the traps and it was clear that Pete needed to repair the hole. Pete came by every day and left the note on my door of what time he checked the traps and the status of them. I am extremely pleased that there were no "critters" found in the attic or the traps. Thank you Critter Control. As I told Pete, it's been great...but I hope I don't see you again for a very, very long time!

Always in time. Always professional. The service was a bit pricey, but the results were definitely guaranteed to work! I tried to trap a pesky groundhog on my own for almost a month. Critter Control came and caught it the first day!! That is a hallelujah praise to God and Jesus!!

Tom and his team did remediation on the building next to mine and had to enter my garden to take care of the front of the neighbors building. He spoke with me to advise what access they needed, that a ladder would need to be used so I asked him to put down coverings because I had just reset my bricks and mulched. They finished up with no issues to my garden. I will definitely use them when I have critters!! Thanks Tom!

We are very pleased with the service we received. We had a family of raccoons that decided they wanted to be roommates. Jack and Pete came to the rescue to help us. They were very professional and explained all they were doing every step of the process. It appears my initial concern has disappeared but like the idea that you will return no charge if the ground hog reappears to trap it. We have captured a few squirrels bit nothing to exterminate…

We hired Critter Control of Dayton to remove a raccoon that had entered our attic. I was removed (not exterminated) and the trap was monitored for ten days to make sure no other animals were present. Very satisfied with the service.

Jack was very thorough with inspection and correctly identified my intruders as bats (I thought it was squirrels). He provided excellent information about humane interventions to eliminate them and then implemented those steps promptly and professionally.

Jack Lewis did a fantastic job ridding my house of various critters and setting it up for future prevention. He explained things thoroughly and made helpful suggestions. I highly recommend him and his company.

Did a good job.

They caught the one male raccoon.. but for 500 bucks I would look elsewhere... this was literally the price for catching the animal.. no repairs.

Bait and switch! The reason we hired Critter Control was because they claimed they would remove an animal AND repair the damage it caused to our house. Well the caught the raccoon but after several months of stalling now they refuse to complete the repairs the quoted. Now we will have to find another company, pay the inspection fees, and wait until they have availability. Don’t trust this company, they will obviously say anything to get the work but won’t follow through.

Hired them to catch a groundhog living under our shed. Paid $250 plus tax, they were only suppose to come out for 2 weeks but they didn’t catch it.. came out for 4ish weeks, still didn’t catch it. We’ve seen it around it’s burrow, so we know it’s still there. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The office has provided great customer service however we are disappointed that they have been unable to catch the groundhog.

Would not recommend, I am out of state and had family assist, neighbors watched as the person setting trap would drive by never getting out of the vehicle, they did not bait traps as far as we could tell. They stated they would clean up animal feces and never once did this. Job was left as "Completed" but still have the animal issue.

Removed nest but did not seal the entrance. The birds came back the next day despite the shiny flag stuff.

Disappointing to say the least. I am hoping this review may help save someone else some money. We had squirrels getting into our garage roof and I hired this company to help resolve the issue. My expectations: the company would come, humanely flush out the squirrels, and block the entrances. The fixes could have even been temporary, just so long as the squirrels could not get back in. What they actually did: Took $260 and set traps on the roof. Then charged $60 for each squirrel they caught. They did catch one. But we have about 50 squirrels that bounce around the neighborhood. I wasn't interested in catching all of them. After about a week, I told them it was enough. I wish they would have been more honest and stated that their services wouldn't really help us. The squirrels that were getting into our roof weren't even passing by the traps they set. My husband and I have had better luck just banging on the roof to scare them out at night. When the roofing company comes, that is what we will do to make sure none of them are trapped inside. This company is probably great if you have a rodent problem in an enclosed space where they can set their traps, but otherwise, not really a solution.
