Maybe Apage is okay if you have an established lawn with no weeds. Otherwise they aren’t effective at starting (or restarting in my case) a lawn or with weed control.

This past week Rolando and Julio upgraded the mulch in our garden and side yard. They were courteous and careful around new plants and left the whole yard looking great.

The berm in my back yard was upgraded and looks lovely! Mike did the original planning. The men who did the work (Ignacio, Chris, and Armando) did a great job, made appropriate suggestions, and cleaned up everything when they were finished! Thanks to all!

Great communication from the Agape team. They were prompt in responses and forthright in cost. Juan & Diego did an excellent job with the landscaping work. Looking forward to seeing my lawn next year after all the effort put in.

Agape lawn services transformed our lawn and garden areas into a beautiful, peaceful spring setting. They brought a team of four who worked very hard cleaning debris, planting bushes, and spreading mulch at our home. Just lovely!

Ignacio, Chris and the crew did a fantastic job of installing plants, mulching a lot of crowded beds, and repairing flagstones. Agape can handle landscape projects large and small!

Edited to add: It's been a year, and we are still very happy. The lawn is looking good and we just got our mulching done by Cutberto & Efrain and the service still shines. They asked us questions to make sure they knew what they wanted and then gave us the opportunity to look over the work before they left. _______________________________________________ We just switched to Agape from a previous lawn care company and it has been a world of difference. These guys are conscientious and informative, checking to make sure that they are leaving the lawn how we like it, and asking questions any time they aren't sure of what we are looking for. Although we've just started with them, I am very optimistic about how our yard will turn out.

Ignacio and Christopher did a terrific job with the sod replacement we needed. They took great care leveling the area and putting new soil in before laying the sod down.Agape is my go to landscaper!

Absolutely poor communication + poor service - do not use. I contacted Agape to do some aeration for reseeding this fall for a small lawn front and back. Their communication was slow to respond and often kept trying to up-sell me on doing a sod installation for thousands of dollars. I typically reseed myself and hire someone to do the aeration. I was going to treat myself this year and have someone reseed for me after aeration. I specifically asked for a scalp mow prior to aeration in my correspondence with them. I was quoted a higher price than most folks off of Nextdoor by a couple hundred dollars but figured I'd give them a try since their reviews were pretty solid. Aeration and scalp mowing is usually around $150-$200 for most smaller yards as the current going rate. They listed their aeration as "double aeration" (it wasn't). Once they came out their crew did not scalp mow ( which means they are laying seed to compete with what's already on the ground) the only aerated half the spots that I was quoted for. I had to visually scour the yard to see any seed that had been applied. A truly poor execution for the price. I spent the entire weekend going back over their work and putting down seed and fertilizer and covering the seed with pete moss. They also had listed putting down starter fertilizer and straw on bare patches in their quote, but they didn't do either. It appears anything that was put down was by hand and not using a spreader for any of the seeding. I was truly shocked that their level of quality and what it was billed for at twice the going rate, and worse than the people I've used off Nextdoor. an absolutely terrible level of service. I will not being using them again.

I do not often write negarive reviews, because I try to see the businesses point of view if things go wrong, but I have to write this review. We used Agape to install sod in 2022. They did a fantastic job and we were very happy. When we scheduled them to come aerate and seed last fall (2024) and they showed up weeks after we had asked for the service to be completed. We understood that maybe we got on the schedule late or that things ran over, so we let that go. (In the mean time, they do our weed and feed all year and have since the sod was laid - so we are a regular customer.) This year, we let them know early that we wanted aeration and seeding, but to please put us on the schedule for the very beginning of September. When they had not done the work by mid-September, I called and left a message. I got a return call and was told that they work would be done on September 30th. I let them know that we had asked for it do be done the first week of September and if there was any way to move it earlier, we would appreciate it, but that we would put down that they would come on September 30th. (This was all in an email as well. They sent me an email as a follow up to the phone call and I replied with what I told the scheduler.) Prior to the 30th, we cleaned the yard up really well, got the leaves and acorns off the lawn and had it ready for them. We have 5 large trees and and by mid-September leaves and acorns have begun falling. The scheduled date came and went with no work done. My husband emailed on October 3rd, when no one had showed up and we had not heard from anyone, and they said that they would be there early the following week and when they had not shown up by 5 pm yesterday (Tuesday), we emailed and cancelled the service. I understand things not going well one year, but for it to happen 2 years in a row, when we followed up 3 different times, was very dissapointing.

I just had my front lawn re-sodded with Fescue from Vandemark Farms. The installation was performed by Ignacio and Christopher. They were extremely well organized and meticulous as they removed the old grass remnants and laid down a new topsoil layer. This was the detailed part of the operation. Laying the sod turned out to be the easier part. They did an excellent clean up, leaving us with a truly good looking new lawn. I am extremely well pleased.

I have contracted with Agape Lawn Care for several years and have always been exceptonally pleased with their attention to detail, skill, hard work and care with my property. More recently, this August 2025 I was very happy with the care taken by Salomon and Ernesto with the mowing and weed trimming they did. They also moved a small tree limb that was blocking my driveway. I highly recommend Agape Lawn Care for your yard care. It is such a relief and a blessing to have a reliable yard team that takes real care in the work they do.

Customer for one year. Lawn died this summer. Could not get anyone to come out to determine the cause and corrective action. Does not seem to be a well managed service.

I had sod installed by Agape, but unfortunately, it didn't take as expected. Without hesitation, they returned and reinstalled new sod at no additional cost to me. Mike Hoy was exceptional throughout the entire process, professional, communicative, and genuinely invested in ensuring I was satisfied with the outcome. Their dedication to customer service and quality workmanship truly sets them apart. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking reliable and responsive lawn care services.

The weed and feed program is wonderful, keeping our lawn looking healthy and strong. We have been customers for 7 years, spending several dozens of thousands of dollars. We recently hired Agape for hardscape work to build two paved patios. We had a few hiccups and I initially posted a negative review. The project manager and the company owner both dedicated themselves to resolve critical issues, including a re-work of one of the work sites to correct the results. While some things are still outstanding, I am happy to see that they are eager to strive for excellent results and put in the effort to deliver on their promises, from top to bottom. We are evaluating if/how to continue on with further projects once we address outstanding items. Right now. In addition to the regular lawn services and landscaping we have always been happy with, we now enjoy a nice patio with a firepit as well as a patio in the backyard on which we have installed a gazebo.

The crew is very conscientious and professional. Thanks, Agape! Whenever they introduce a new service or have a suggestion for general customers' needs, they carefully consider whether it is appropriate - for each particular lawn. If it isn't, they advise according to the circumstance. No high pressure sales. Just thoughtful and reliable service.
