I don’t like giving bad reviews but everyone needs to know this. I worked out the state 3 months. They come to my house. I pay them $59 for service. I keep getting nonstop text while I’m working long hours. Another bill owed. It went from $59 to $89 to $99 then to $177 in late fees. They are the pest! Highly don’t recommend.

Would give 0 stars if I could. These people are SCAMMERS! We happily had another pest company we were using and they approached us to switch to their company and offered us a lower rate. Sounds nice, right? Wrong. They then offered a “free pest home inspection” and found mice droppings in our attic and several holes/ entry points that needed to be closed which scared us. They quoted us $2500 for this. We were trying to save up to have this service done thinking we had a large issue in our attic that needed immediate attention… we then got a second quote only to find out they were a SCAM and absolutely nothing was wrong with our home and they said pest control companies do this when they aren’t making money… BEWARE. Can’t believe they were going to charge us 2500 for absolutely nothing

Update. Trying to cancel their service is not easy. They signed me up for a 12 month contract (my gut told me not to enter any kind of contract with any kind of door to door solicitor but I didn’t listen) and when I went to cancel 15 months later, they tell me I signed an 18 month contract! So if you sign up with them, keep allllllll of your paperwork bc they will try to screw you at the end. The first person I spoke to about cancelling even said she saw on the contract that it was, indeed, a 12 month, not 18. The young man that came to our door to advertise was so sweet and polite. Every time I need to call, they’re always so professional and kind. Aurion was very helpful and professional.

Absolutely horrible company to have a service with. Issue, after issue, after issue, so I canceled my service. I would get a text saying service was completed, when the Technician never actually showed up. When they did come, they'd complete the wrong service. They would put out granules instead of spray which I specifically requested they not do because I have free range chickens. They'd service one property when they were supposed to go to another. I don't understand how a company could be such an absolute cluster. So I canceled my service in April of 2025, but Alta kept charging my credit card for one property, and billing me for the other. Called and spoke to a supervisor, left voice-mail, emailed... Nothing. Called again today , and the representative (Elizabeth) confirmed that the notes show i called April 18th 2025 to cancel. I am CURRENTLY on hold right now - which im pretty sure the representative "Kinkley" has left me on hold intentionally for over 30 minutes. He just chuckled and said "sorry for all the trouble" - okay? So what about the $90 I've been charged every since April !? They kept taking money from my credit card, and now wanting to send the other bill to "collections". DO NOT DO BUSINESS with ALTA. They are in the business to take your money and could care less how many times you call or email to remind them that this service was supposed to be canceled.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst customer service. They schedule appointments then cancel them without notifying you. I had a appointment scheduled for today waited around all day. Called the office to see what time they would be coming they told me the technician had 2 stops and then she would arrive. The technician called to notify me scheduling department took me off her schedule. I called the office back and they said they had to reschedule due to some scheduling issues. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I will be taking my business somewhere else. This company will take your money but won't do the work you pay for.

Do not use this company, they will steal your money. They were scheduled to treat our home, got a text at 9:30am that they were on the way. No one showed up at all. ( I have Camaras watching the front and back of our home ) . I waited till 2pm then called customer service, and was told service was posted as complete. Needless to say I'll be contacting my lawyer.

They dropped off a young door to door sales rep in our subdivision with a clear sign that said ‘no soliciting’. He was told by numerous residents, including me, that there was no soliciting. He continued to tell me that he wasn’t soliciting business for Alta. He stayed in our subdivision well after dark, ringing doorbells and knocking on doors. Unacceptable in a 55 plus community. I made a complaint to corporate. I saw him leaving an elderly widow’s house. Again unacceptable! Their business model poor at best! Are they licensed, bonded, and insured? I would never use them for pest control not to mention that I told him we already had a contact with another pest control company. No matter what I said, he kept trying to sell me. Wrong, wrong, wrong!

Overpriced scam. We were “locked” into a very expensive contract for a year. I did not see any improvement in ants, which was the reason they were supposed to be coming. I attempted to cancel with a month left in our contract, which technically meant we lost money as they did not come out the last time. They were adamant that I had to pay the additional $60 to cancel my account. I explained the math both by email and phone that they had actually made money off of me by not coming the last time and making the final payment. However, they were insistent on getting their money. Absolute scam and would never recommend them.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! This is the WORST pest control company you can EVER have. First time the technician came out he didn’t knock on the door I had to go out and get him. He asked where are the ant hills my eyebrows raise and said all over the yard. So I had to point out every ant hill to him. He then “treated” the ant hills with a chemical and stomped on them then tracked them in my house. Sprayed the same chemical he had sprayed outside on the inside. This was the first occurrence. A week later there was still a bunch of anthills in my yard if not more than when we had signed the contract. So obviously I called they said give it a week. We will call back. Alta then never called back with a supposed “follow up call”. I had them come back out a week later for the appointment they scheduled. Still a bunch of ants. Recently I found a cockroach in my house that my indoor cat had killed. I called Alta and vented my problems with them about these pests and how I thought Alta is supposed to be a preventative pest control service. The guy I spoke with said he would “refund the service for the month”… which he didn’t come to find out after just getting off the phone AGAIN to tell them the reservicer didn’t come out at the correct time and didn’t even get to go inside and never called… The technician was supposed to come between the hours of 3-7pm to service my property. I had the guy on the phone put In the notes I needed my cars moved to spray some ant hills and to spray the inside of house. Apparently the technician didn’t receive the notes cause the technician came by when I wasn’t home at 12, couldn’t come inside or get under cars, never called to say he’d be 3 hours early or anything. I just want to cancel services cause they don’t fulfill any pest control needs. This is a horrible company and I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Full warning to anyone who even thinks about getting a pest control service DO NOT business with ALTA. I’m very disappointed with anything and everything they have to offer.

We moved into a new construction community, as we moved in a lot of sales reps were about. I had a young man come to our house and talk to me about Ardent and their services. Now around this time we had issues with spiders and other insects in the backyard. We have two dogs so it was important for us to have a safe backyard. I agreed to the contract WITHOUT being told that they had a cancellation fee of $200. After the 2nd service we wanted to cancel because there was not much difference in the yard and we had plenty of bugs still. They offered a free appointment which I didn’t not want but was forced to agree to. The guys they sent out walked the yard just randomly spraying spots. I had to go out and point all the areas that they were missing. Forward to now, I was trying to cancel thinking I had used up the 5 services but unfortunately had only used 3. The manager Jacob felt that they could reach a solution with me, while all I wanted was to end service because it is POOR and UNRELIABLE. It’s a waste of money. I could easily pay someone to go to Walmart buy some bug spray and do the yard for me at a cheaper cost with better results. After I refused to respond to some of the emails, Manager Jacob felt the need to add on the extra $50 that were discounted at the beginning of service which ending up being $250 to cancel service. In my opinion its better to pay that then waste anytime with them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid their services.
