Alterra Pest Control

I had Terminix for a few years prior to switching to Alterra. I felt Alterra was on the same level of Terminix, but just a friendlier experience overall. Christine S. came over and sprayed, and she was great & very thorough in her spraying the perimeters. Provided me glue traps as well since i keep them around the house as an extra layer of protection. Personally, Alterra overall experience is just better from a customer service point of view, from their front office to there techs.

Keve R just finished my pest control at my home. He explained the types of bugs and how he is working to control and eradicate them. He is a true professional I loved his service very much, but the price of service my limit how long I can do this. living on a fixed income as a senior retired person. .

Santiago does a very good job. He was here for quarterly service, it rained for several days following, I noticed some bugs. He returned and did a complete do over. He is polite and courteous.

Keve R always does a great job and focused on the problem areas and we never have pest issues.

Keve R Came out to service my house and was very professional and personable. He sprayed in the garage for me and did a very thorough job in the backyard after i told him my 3 cats and 2 dogs all spend a lot of time back there.

Keve R came out today and did excellent work and paid special care to areas I told him may be key entry points for insects. I appreciate good customer service and would like him to be recognized for his diligent work. Also after the second visit by Alterra techs I have had zero issue with insects!

This being the first of my quarterly services, Christine was friendly and insightful. She answered all my questions and gave me an understanding of the process and time frame. I love my new pest control company- Alterra. I have yet to see a bug. I like that they don't have to come every month and spray. I hated having my baseboards inside covered every month. They have only had them spray outside and haven't seen anything living yet. I also don't see dead bugs all over my porch either. I am so happy. My service guy Keve R., was so kind and personable (and willing to change out all my bug pads in the garage), Thank you so much.

We are always reminded of our service. I forgot to tell my husband and we were less than prepared for our service. It was garbage day and Keve R went straight to work hurtling the trash cans we left in the way and no peep that we didn't clean up after the dog in the back yard. This is the first company that has succeeded in no bugs getting past your work! Thankful customer Keri F.

Worst company ever. Ty and Gerardo are absolutely no help. These people come out of nowhere to your home no call, no show and expect to bill and charge you. They'll lock you into a contract and try to pursue you to spend more money. Gerardo tried convincing me to keep my services by telling me some nonsense that the "chemicals" they use helps keep viruses away without an explanation about how it actually works. Okay????? Ty just makes it sound like "That's that." Horrible customer service. Sounds like she's dealed with these calls before. By trying to convince me to lower my services they kept pushing the price lower... From $99 a month to $59 a month. Okay, so if you're able to push my services that low, why didn't you charge me that price before? Gerardo the service manager even admitted that they need a "better notification system." WOW!!!!!! I am going to CONTINUE THIS REVIEW!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. These people are liars and crooks! I'm going to get my lawyer involved in this because this whole system is disorganized and they charged my account without any services & broke their word. Please safe yourself the headache and don't sign up with these people. First off, THEY CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT & NEVER SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE AKA I paid $160 for NO REASON without a signature! They claimed they came to my home without a call/notice and charged my card. They don't VERIFY a day with you, they just come and charge your account. Guess what? Originally I was paying around $99 a month, when I complained to the manager Gerardo he said he would bump my payment down to $59 a quarter/yr. I said OK, sure. But.... why weren't you charging that originally? At this point I didn't want to cancel my membership, but wow am i disappointed that these people charged my card for the cancellation fee and cancelled my account when I agreed to keep it for $59 a quarter/yr. Please find yourself another pest control company and save yourself the headache.

Terrible service. They provide a quarterly service for the same rates as a monthly service. Service unfortunately does not last the full 3 months and you have to call for essentially monthly "retreatments". So if you want a pest control company that does not get rid of your pest then you should call Alterra - oh and if you threaten to cancel they will not come out to do a retreatment even though you have already paid for the full 3 months and they do not plan on refunding you the money.

Quick service and reasonable prices and explained everything well. Giancarlos Rojas, the Alterra service professional arrived on time and did a great job.

The customer service representatives were cordial.

Tyler L & Michael both were pleasant to work with and they asked if there were any areas of concerns. Look forward to future work by them.

very deceiving selling practices. Was told that cost would be $89 per quarter for monthly service. Turned out to be $89 for once every quarter service.

Had a very good first visit with Alterra. Tech Christine S. was very polite and friendly, explained everything clearly but not overbearing and got the job done quickly and efficiently even with the 110 degree temps outside! Thanks again. - Katherine S.
