Tried others Senate was the best. Gas company dug up the sidewalk in front of several homes and it causes mice to invade our homes. I tried 2 other company they failed. Senate came in set up a schedule plan 👏 and cleared up the problem. It was affordable and I still have a quarterly plan and no critters and they're pet conscious. Keep your pets away from treated areas for a hour everything is good. You may have to pick and choose the workers. As in everything some may not be that passionate about their work. Just let Senate know if you have a preference and they will assign that good worker to your account. ☆ Affordable pricing!☆

Sam was great. He was timely. He was very deliberate and conscientious on how he check each termite monitor. He replaced two or three monitors that outlived their useful life. Sam was great, very efficient and explained what to expect and next steps.The team came in and within a week, the raccoons were gone, the old insulation, and what ever mess they left, was gone, the space was cleaned and disinfected, the entry areas were covered and the new insulation was installed. Everybody was helpful and professional. I work from home and I was not distracted at all. Great job!

I highly recommend Senate! I had a great initial vist by Mr. T. Lyons, who was absolutely amazing! Second visit was by Sam, who went above and beyond to make sure process would be a success, and he was equally amazing! If I could, I'd request him for all my follow-up visits! LOL! Please read entire review as I updated thus the one star. My first initial visit. John came and was Extremely professional, respectful of my home inside and out. I saw one little mouse and I freaked out! Once called he came out within a day and did an inspection under my house and inside. He came back a few days later to treat. John was simply awesome and was very kind and made me feel at ease. He explained everything in detail he went above and beyond and did such a great job as I was freaking out because I’ve never had any pest problems let alone a mouse in my house! He assured me, showed me and explained everything in detail how they get in houses etc. He put my mind at ease took his time treated inside and outside and said he or someone from the company will follow up in 2 weeks. At first I thought this company was great because John was so nice and professional. Please read my update below…. Update: 28 February 2026 No one ever showed up for my 2 week followup it was supposed be in December 2025. I just figured that’s all there was and I heard John wrong on his initial 1st visit and I let it go. Until 2 months later I got a tag on my door saying they are sorry they missed me for my 2 month followup. Too funny if you ask me! They never called or text to let me know they weren’t coming for my 2 week followup and again this time no call no text to let me know they were coming for my 2 month followup. I called and they apologized for not showing up for my 2 week followup way back in December 2025 and they sent someone else to come back and do my 2month followup today February 28 2026. He showed up 4 hour’s early ( he did text to see if he could come earlier he did say in the text if he couldn’t he might not be able come at all but because I was doing things around my house I didn’t see his text) He was very polite. Stayed about 10 minutes and said all looks good and he left. Although the persons I spoke with and saw at my house from this company were very kind. I most likely would not recommend this company due to lack of reliability/accountability. ☹️

Unfortunately in this industry the good technicians are hard to come across- and i’m talking about the ones who do not leave a puddle of pest spray on your floor or half spray your home or is too lazy to place shoe covers over their shoes/boots and not to mention peak season is terrible in the pest industry- everyone needs them but there simply is not enough service techs to meet the hight demands - then when u get a tech they are trying to move too fast to get the job done and one to the next that the service quality is poor. Thank God for good customer service when I call in - we’ll for the most part - The End

Do not use this company. They blew insulation all over a place in my storage room where no insulation should have been and then reluctantly came out to clean it up. They promised me a $75 credit for a maid to clean the rest up and Brian the manager in gaithersburg will not e mail or r call me back. They also promised me an energy efficiency letter for my tax return and no one will send me that after several calls and emails. Brian is nit professional and is condescending. Sales person rick called the owner and brian several times but they do not care. I will NEVERA do business with them. Angi’s list should vet their companies a little bit more. Horrible service. I paid $8000 for this service.

Please beware. My family pet ate some of the bait they placed and suffered terribly before dying. Senate didn't even apologize or express any condolences at all. They also continued to bill me without providing any services inside my home for almost a year. I would come home and find a service ticket on the porch. I asked them repeatedly to contact me prior to coming so I could arrange to be home. I miss my fur baby so much :(

Sam arrived and we talked about where I was finding a couple of roaches after 1 treatment. he sprayed and put down powder, offered to move the fridget and a cabinet. He did something few do, he suggested a follow up session in 2-4 weeks to ensure we get it done right. I was impressed. he did an area that I suggested away from the kitchen. No questions asked. Sam got it done. He seems to understand good customer service translates into business. Great guy

Awful. The initial consult and visit was fine but after that it was just down hill Multiple instances of "visits" being claimed but a technician not being seen or only doing half of the job (front of home but not the back). We even had a mouse issue that we had to handle ourselves. Tried to cancel the service but was told that there'd be a fee to do so. It'll be cheaper to let the contract run out, so for the next few months I'm stuck - not like it'll make much of a difference since we never see any actual service anyway. Don't waste you time or money.

I’m giving four stars simply because the work was completed this morning and I want a little time to confirm results. That said, I’m very happy with the service so far. From my initial call, I was quickly scheduled at a time that fit my needs. The team thoroughly reviewed my case, explained their findings clearly, and recommended appropriate services to resolve the issue. Once recommendations were made, all work was completed within 48 hours. I truly appreciated the sense of urgency shown by both the inspectors and the technicians. They understood my situation and acted promptly, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Fingers crossed for a fast resolution, and thank you all for being so responsive and professional. Update- 2nd visit due to issue and tech was amazing, polite and addressed all my concerns.

The technicians that come out are usually ok to sometimes exceptional. Calling the office is always a pain because they don't do what they say the first time and I have to call back and push the issue to get a resolution. It doesn't help that they have pretty bad attitudes. Fortunately I don't have to call in very often. If I did, I definitely wouldn't keep them as my pest control service.

I happened to be home today when the technician came. I was on a work call so I couldn't answer the door. The guy sat in his car for 5min then got out rang my door bell poured chemicals around my fron door so the smeel would be there then left. Then they charged me $89. I used to be a bug man in AZ and I sprayed the outside all the wway around the house then put granuals in the yard. If they had mesquito problems I would spray the yard as well. The company may be good but this technician is scamming the system. I have lost trust in them to do what they say and would not recommend them to any of my friends.

Working with Senate Termite & Pest Control was a smooth experience from start to finish. Having a wood-siding & wood-framed house, I wanted to be protected against potential termite issues. Reaching out to the company was simple & expedient and I was able to get on the schedule for their inspection within the same week. Once the home & property were inspected and guidance offered on which services would best suite my needs (thanks Rick!), I was able to be quickly scheduled for the treatment the next week. On the service treatment day, the technician, Sam, arrived on time promptly and was very cordial & professional as he answered some of my additional questions. Sam then got right to work doing the necessary process to treat all around the foundation of house. I was impressed by the speed, diligence, and professionalism from beginning to end, and would use their services again.

Story is lengthy but necessary. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are very good at pulling you in as a new customer and communicating with you to set up new service. I had total attic remediation done in July, 2025. The company they subcontracted to do the work came out and completed the job. The same day in the evening through the present, my upstairs has reeked of a very foul and unpleasant odor. It smells like rotten cabbage mixed with bowel. The only way to get the smell out is to have the windows open. Once I close them, the smell is back. I've lived in my home for almost 15 years and never smelled such a thing. I am a very neat and clean person. I contacted the owner, Nick. We had a pleasant conversation, and he arranged for someone to come check out the problem. The gentleman arrived and smelled it instantly. He said he smelled something but wasn't familiar with the smell because he was not in the "installation" department. He was in the department that identifies dead animals....smh. I'm not sure why Nick sent him especially since I told him there wasn't anything dead upstairs or in the house. The smell was coming from the so called "new" chemicals and installation they installed. Fast forward, Nick requested to have someone from the contracted company that installed the installation to come out. Well, this gentleman said he didn't smell anything was more concerned with checking my vents....smh. Yet, another wasted trip. I've called Nick several times, 10 times to be exact within a 3-week timespan. He has yet to return my calls, and it's September 25th...smh. That is not behavior of a President of a company that stands behind their work. I left a more reputable company to go with Sentate. The WORST mistake I could've made. Senate might be good with other services but definitely not attic remediation. I'm thinking the installation and chemicals used were CHEAP. The sad part about this entire experience is Nick's lack of communication. As the owner, he definitely should've done something to make sure that I, the customer, was happy.

I was quoted $1100 to treat my entire foundation for termites. They came and treated 6’ of my front wall in 19 minutes then left. If that’s all it takes that’s fine, but $1100 is unfair. A picture of their handiwork is attached. Don’t hire Senate.

Really really disappointed with the services. I hired them to take care of a raccoon problem and their customer service is just awful. They were supposed to come over pick up a raccoon and set the traps. They came and pick up the raccoon but left an empty broken crate without any bait in it. I tried to call thousands of times with no luck. The same happened last Saturday. Communication among employees is inexistent. Very amateur.
