First, they were very responsive, came out to my home about two hours after I called them. The issue was squirrels eating at my roof. They came and put a trap for the squirrel. They were consistently communicating with me about the status. They returned and they caught the squirrel in the cage. They fixed up the holes that were in my roof, and I am very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them.

This is an infuriating review to write, as I have been dealing with this mouse infestation and BC Exterminating since July 18 of 2025 and it is now January 16 of the following year with no solution. I spent a whopping $1,690.70 for BC Exterminating to clear our house of mice with a 60 day warranty that they would come and re-treat the house at the first sign of any droppings or mice. This warranty would start over from the most recent sign of mice. At first, they appeared diligent and competent with outdoor poison boxes and closing out any entrances to the house. They promised “color coded poisons” that would show us where the mice nested by the color of their droppings. (I’ve never seen a mouse dropping other than black). They promised “escalated poisons” if the mice refused to eat the first round. They said “this works, we’ve got it”. Always, within a few weeks of the most recent visit, I would find new droppings throughout the house. A mouse skittered across our floor during dinner. Another one ran just past my feet as I got ready for bed. I would discover my three year old playing on the ground next to a fresh scattering of mice droppings. I only ever saw two dead mice in my house since the beginning of the treatment; one was in a glue trap we’d previously set, and the other in a snap trap near our garage. To their credit, every time I called, BC Exterminating did follow their own warranty and come to the house - always after a scheduling shuffle so that I could work from home to meet them during the window, which became a dance of its own. There started to be a shift in tone when I noted that this still wasn’t working and asked what the next step was. It was now November, winter was coming. Still friendly as ever, they’d wander through the house, say “well, I don’t see any mice”, or “I don’t see how they could be getting in”, and then would leave. They started saying things that didn’t make sense, like “those look like old mouse droppings” under my desk, which had just been vacuumed, or “maybe you moved some boxes and they were in there”, when I knew I hadn’t. I spent all of our Thanksgiving weekend clearing every closet, cleaning every corner, trying to find their nest, as BCExterminating wasn’t up for the job that I had spent so much on. There were still mice. Eventually the visits felt more social than substantive. They’d replace one empty glue trap with another, or put more poisons out, but with a reassuring, “I promise they’ll be gone by the holidays”, they’d leave. I’d joke that the exterminators were my roommates. They’d laugh, I’d laugh, and the mouse issue remained. The warranty was just a burden on my schedule - no success at getting rid of the mice. When I finally asked for a refund this morning, they refused and suggested two last visits, finally breaking the terms of the (ineffective) warranty. I’m at my wits end. I have two small kids and spend most of my life chasing mice instead of a company that I hired to do it for me. I’m vacuuming, chasing away any food I find, and unable to trust this company that said “listen, we know it’s hard, but we can handle it”. Sadly, they can’t. Their services might work for you, but know that if they don’t solve the problem in the first round, you have no recourse, no opportunity for a refund, and will host them in your home in perpetuity.

I found this company online and I am so glad I did. Lalo and his team are professional, courteous and prompt. He came to survey our issue. Solved the problem and will even do a follow-up to be sure all is good. What I like about the company is they were fast to reply and communicated at all times. That’s important for me. BC Exterminating is good at what they do!

After calling four other companies this morning to deal with a large hornets nest, BC Exterminating was the only one that didn’t transfer me around or suggest someone would “call me back” later (which they eventually did—two hours later). BC gave a clear, competitive price without pushing a monthly plan and had a technician at my house within two hours. Oswaldo and his tech were fast, friendly, and professional—especially thoughtful knowing we have kids and a dog. They removed the nest quickly, gave tips on what to watch for over the next few days, and communicated clearly by phone and text. No corporate runaround—just honest, efficient service from a locally owned business. Highly recommend.

We’ve had 2 great experiences with BC Exterminating - back in 2017 for cockroaches and then again in 2025 for rodents in the attic. Their team members have all been great on communication, showed up as scheduled, were very professional and considerate, explained things clearly, and worked efficiently (but not rushed). They came across as honest and down-to-earth. Not selling (or upselling) things - just there to help get the job done. We haven't had roaches since their service in 2017, and all signs are great with the attic too. We’ll definitely go straight to them if we have any other pest problems in the future!

I had a great experience with this company. They were the first to reply to my yelp request and were at my house within the hour to give me an estimate. The price was good so i hired them and they started immediately. They were prompt with their follow ups. Steven was polite and friendly, not to mention a professional. Oswaldo provided great customer service.

The technicians did a thorough job of inspecting and baiting my house. Although my house required several visits, the technicians were patient and determined to rid my home of the mice.

BC Exterminating Service arrived at our home the very next day after we called them about a possible wasp problem. Their technicians wore the company name on their uniforms and also the company name was on their truck, which made us feel secure. They inspected inside and outside our attic, then sprayed in the area outside where the original nest had been. Afterward they told us to be on the lookout for any returning wasps after five days have passed. If the wasps were to reappear then, the company would make a return visit to deal with the problem. We were pleased with BC Exterminating Services and we will be using them again, if the need arises.

I had the worst experience with this company. At first, I called them up due to fake good reviews and one of the salesperson called James picked up the phone and then he started upselling me multiple services without giving me the chance to explain that I needed one time treatment only. Then I asked him to setup an initial inspection and James immediately replied back that there is no need for initial inspection and that he will charge me $187 flat rate for one time treatment only to eliminate rodents and ants. So I waited for the scheduled service next day and then I had to wait the entire day before anyone showed up. Finally the tech called me up that he is here to do the job. I told him to finish up the job and then I’ll pay him accordingly over the phone. The tech did not finish the job and ran away without informing me (so unprofessional) that he had to leave immediately. Then I get the fraudulent call from Mr James who started acting like one big shady salesman and then he started his troubling sales pitch by exaggerating the nature of the problem to 100 times worse (saying that I have 1000 ant hills and 100 rats roaming around). Mind you I have a million dollar property in the most richest part of Montgomery County and this pathetic guy scared me so much that my house is going to be ruined if I don’t act soon. I asked him how much will it cost now? He came back the next day and increased the cost 3 times what it originally cost. Basically the tech guy informed the size of my house to James and he told him that he is underselling me. So he went on his shady pitch again to upsell multiple services through scare tactics and bait-&-switch method. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE! Key note below: Look how nice their customer service (as shown below) where instead they should be apologizing to me, they are labeling me as a cheap landlord! How Pathetic!
