About Excel Lawns & Landscape
Excel Lawns & Landscape is a family owned and operated lawn care and landscaping service company in Des Moines. During Excel’s creation, our goal was to provide our customers with a reliable, affordable, turnkey landscaping and lawn care service. Because of this, our customers can reclaim their time and spend those nights and weekends doing what truly matters. Everyone’s idea of a yard is different. Our hope is that your property and space functions the very best way for you, as you are the one who sees it the most. My idea of a yard has changed over the years now with a special needs son and a 3- year -old daughter. The yard is a place for rolling, slides, and water toys. But, at this moment, that is what is needed for our family.

This is extremely tardy, but last fall Isaac did a wonderful job aerating and overseeding our lawn. He took the time and explained the process and was very professional and pleasant. He even insured our backyard gate was closed tightly to keep our dogs from escaping and wreaking havoc on the neighbors. Great experience, will be recommending to friends.

Joe, Isaac, Juan and Andrew did a fantastic job removing the leaves from my property. I would say they removed about 99.6% of all of the leaves on my front and backyard. I was not expecting it to be so perfect because the leaves were wet and heavy. All for these gentlemen were hard-working, polite, friendly and did not complain about the extra effort they had to put in because of the conditions. I hope to see them again next year!

Ryan from Excel lawn.- landscape did an outstanding job on our fall clean up. He showed up on time. Introduced himself to me, then we went over the project. He went to work and had everything completed in 3 to 4 hours, which would have taken my wife and myself several more hours to complete the project plus the sore backs and thighs that we would have for several days. We would recommend Ryan and Excel lawn - landscape.

I have worked with Michael at Excel Lawn & Landscape for several years. He and his team have always been thoughtful, courteous, and professional. Isaac was my latest technician. The yard was very dry and he did a wonderful job running the aerator; clean, neat, and no plowing up the grass. Michael is a veteran who I thank for his service.

They do a great job with their annual aeration and overseed Isaac was attentive to our lawn markings and made sure we had everything we needed before he took off.

I have to say that excel has been doing an extremely good job at keeping my lawn looking good. As much as I enjoy mowing my own yard, I will definitely keep using them and enjoying the time I get not having to mow. I highly recommend giving excel a chance at making your lawn look fantastic. I will also enjoy not having to shovel this winter as I will let excel take care of that for me as well. Keep up the good work

Had a concrete patio done by Excell lawn and landscaping, it was the worst concrete job I have ever seen done and as the home owner now I'm stuck with a product I'm not satisfied with at all !!!!

Terrible company pushes snow in to roadway in front of cars very dangerous and illegal
