This company has no showed/no called twice now. Very unreliable and not considerate of peoples time.
Promised me a no cob web or spider service. I am currently starring at spiders in my shower. Doesnt come inside to do service unless make them. Tried to cancel and not allowed

We had pest control service recently and Jon did an excellent job. He was professional, respectful, and very thorough in his work. What stood out most was how considerate he was — he made sure not to ring the doorbell while my daughter was sleeping. That level of thoughtfulness really means a lot. We truly appreciate the great service!

Jon came out for our second home treatment and did an excellent job. He was very informative, took the time to listen to our concerns, and clearly explained the services he was performing. Jon has a great personality and was very thoughtful when walking the property, making sure everything was addressed. We really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m compelled to in this situation. To be fair, the service and technicians were great, and the sales person, although pushy, was pleasant. My one star is because I canceled service in early October. This company still sent someone out to my house while I wasn’t present to perform service after I canceled in writing. Since that point, they have incessantly called demanding payment for that service. I’ve explained I canceled in writing before service was performed and it’s on them if they still performed the service. Today I got an email from a debt collector indicating Urbanex has sold the debt to a 3rd party and will likely impact my credit report. Any business that can’t honor a simple cancellation and instead tries to generate revenue through the debt collection process is not a company I would do business with. Buyer Beware.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellation requests through text, letter, or email. This is listed in our contract that each customer signs upon registering with our services. The owner lied to me about the price of the service. I called in and asked the owner to call me back he never did! Canceling the service is close to $200 so I will finish and cancel. I would no recommend urbanex to anyone!!

They breached my contract twice. First of all, I agreed to a $175 service fee, with 0% tax. Since then, they started adding tax on top of my service fee and I was paying over $191. I called them out on breaching the contract, and luckily they had resolved this issue; however, I should never have had to call them on it. The second time they breached contract was when I tried to cancel, but this time they relied on the idea that it will cost more money for me to challenge them than to stay in the contract. Under “Cancellation,” the contract reads, “The customer agrees to pay the full initial service charge (including any initial service discounts originally provided as part of the contract) or a $150 early termination fee, whichever is greater.” My initial service ($300) including initial service discount (-$300), would have been $0, so my termination fee should be $150. Instead, they want to charge me a $300 cancellation fee, and the explanation they gave me has nothing to do with what my contract says. They also did nothing to try to understand why I wanted to cancel, so I don’t believe they really care too much about your business. This is just a big corporate entity with people who are just doing their job, and not passionate about serving their customers. For anyone who is looking for pest control services, I would recommend Rumble Pest Solutions. They had done a great job for me previously, and the only reason I had switched to Urbanex was to save money. Since then, Rumble has come down on their pricing, and I will be going back to them. Urbanex has lost me for good.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I want to first address the sales tax issue you mentioned. By Arkansas law, all pest control services are subject to state and local sales tax. This is not something we can waive, as it is required by the state. That said, we recognized that this was not clearly communicated to you during your initial sign-up. To make things right, we credited the tax amount back to your account to cover the miscommunication from the sale.As for the cancellation policy, the service agreement states:“If for any reason, at any time, the contract is cancelled before its completion and the initial service has been performed, the customer agrees to pay the full initial service charge (including any initial service discounts originally provided as part of the contract) or a $150 early termination fee, whichever is greater. This contract may only be cancelled by verbally communicating with an Urbanex Pest Control Account Manager; written communication such as email, text message, or letter will not be accepted as a request to cancel service. ”This means that if a customer cancels before fulfilling the one-year contract, they are responsible for either (1) the amount of the initial discount provided, or (2) a $150 early termination fee—whichever is greater. In your case, your home received a $300 discount on the initial service. Since that discount is greater than the $150 fee, the cancellation balance owed is $300. We truly appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify this. Please also remember that your plan includes valuable benefits such as unlimited free reservices between scheduled visits to make sure pest issues are fully resolved. And although sales tax is a state requirement, we went ahead and matched that cost back to you to ensure you weren’t left at a disadvantage due to the miscommunication at the time of sale.Thank you again for allowing us to work through this with you. We’re always striving to improve transparency and customer care, and your feedback helps us do that.
The sales rep come playlet miss informed me.We agreed for them to come back and bill me that same day later in the month. They billed me 180! It was supposed to be $55. They never came back!!! I called and they told me there’s nothing they can do.This place is a spam. A complete spam. I have never felt so duped in my life. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR CARD INFORMATION!
An overly aggressive sales rep completely ignored the clearly posted sign on my door that says “Absolutely no soliciting. Do not knock. Do not ring doorbell.” He did all three. I told him I’d need time to do my own research before making any decisions, but he kept pushing his pitch and refused to take the hint. Then, unbelievably, he came back later. There’s no chance I’d ever do business with a company that thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable.
I would never use this company simply based on principle. Dylan came to my door, despite a clear no soliciting sign, and was so incredibly pushy trying to get information about myself, my family, and my home although I repeatedly told him I was not interested in his service. His tactics are unbelievably unprofessional and inappropriate. I told him my husband handles our pest control and we already have services with another company. He then point blank asked me if my husband was at home and when I didn’t respond, insinuated that I was home alone and my husband at work and proceeded to ask me what time he would be back in the evening and what he does for work. Many of my neighbors also had the same experience with this individual being pushy, aggressive, knocking repeatedly at late hours, and refusing to leave them alone.
0/5 stars if I could. We were sold a completely different service than what we got. The rep promised one inside/outside spray every 3 months would treat the bugs and swore they’d be easy to reach if we ever needed anything. All lies. We’ve now been charged over $360, and only had one partial spray the very first visit (outside only). After that, we saw a flood of bugs inside and it was hard to get someone out here to finish what they started. Fast forward to our next treatment, a tech shows up, and says they couldn’t spray because they didn’t have the right PPE. He claimed he’d return. Spoiler alert: he never did. Just ghosted. But don’t worry, they still charged us for the visit. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and a complete waste of money. Avoid them like the pests they pretend to get rid of!!!

I will not ever use this company on principal, after an extremely rude and pushy man came to our house in Farmington today. I told him multiple times that we were not interested in hiring pest control, but he ignored me time and time again. He didn't even tell me what company he worked for. Had no company shirt or ID on. I finally told him point blank that he was not listening to me and that my answer is still no, so then he tried obtaining personal info from me about our neighbors. It's not only disrespectful, but is harassment. I finally spotted his company vehicle down the road to identify them. Do this again, I'll be calling the cops.

Crazy that all of this business's 1 star reviews are for one classless sales guy. Dylan knocks and I tell him we have a baby sleeping and he woke her because the dogs were barking and that we were going to pass on whatever he had, said have a nice day and shut the door. Now granted we didn't have our no knocking sign up so I'll give him the pass on the first knock, however, looking at other reviews, he ignores no soliciting signs so I doubt it would have made a difference. Then this dense loser knocked again, erupting the dogs yet again. I opened the door said come on man and repeated what I just said and shut the door, very respectfully, even though he didn't deserve it. I caught him on the doorbell camera mocking me as he was walking away. Little boy didn't get to do his sales pitch so his feelings were hurt. Not interested means not interested. Classy stuff from Urbanex.
Dylan from Urbanex came to our house this evening to sell us their services. First my husband told him we had a company and were happy with them, that we were good. Dylan then tried to debate him on the topic and would not let it go. So, my husband said he would talk to me and to have a nice day, in order to get him to leave. Mind you we were both working at this time. A little while later Dylan came back, So I had to stop working and I told him we had services we were happy with and thank you but we didn't want to do anything else. He tried to convince me we needed to do more spraying. I told him we did not want to and why. He then tried to argue about it with me. I did not have time for his bullshit. told him he wasn't going to change my mind. He was very smug and rude. If we ever decide to go with a different company we will not be using this one, seeing as how aggressive their sales people are. Give the impression they don't actually care about the customer, they only want your money.
