Ace of Blades

We used Ace of Blades in 2025 and had a great experience. However, that has completely changed in 2026. I have been trying for 3 months to get in touch over email, text, phone call, and even opened a case with them on their website to discuss my services. Since I cannot get my questions answered about why my prices have jumped 50% year over year, I have asked to cancel my services and they continue to send out their crews to treat my lawn while I am not home. They continue to bill me. I think I will probably have to drive to their office in person at this point in order to get in touch with them. I am so frustrated and don’t really have the extra time to worry about my lawn care this much. I don’t understand how their great customer service in 2025 has changed this drastically. It’s very bad!

Paid for a full year of service. Still waiting. Sales experience was great — rep Tyler was knowledgeable and professional. Signed up and paid for an annual plan. They completed one spray, then scheduled a lime treatment for 3/12/26, charged me for it, and never showed up. No call, no text, no email. I had to reach out myself — and the person I spoke with seemed genuinely confused about why it was missed. Promised a reschedule ASAP. That appointment was missed. Then the next one. Three no-shows on a service I already paid for. I submitted a support ticket through their own portal. It was closed with zero explanation. I actively choose local businesses over national chains whenever I can. I want to support them. But being ignored after paying in full isn’t something I can let slide quietly. If you’re considering signing up — just know that getting the service you paid for isn’t guaranteed. And if something goes wrong, don’t expect communication. Ace of Blades — I’m still waiting. Make it right

I told him to spray my yard in Jan-Feb. in the past that allowed me to begin lawn moving till May. He sprayed in March and I must begin mowing now. Young kids just do not listen.

I have been an Ace or Blades Customer for over 4 years and after their recent acquisition last year I have seen the quality of their service take a major hit. My yard no longer looks as good as it once did and I have had issues getting in contact with anyone located in Arkansas and am routinely outsourced to offices in Dallas or Kansas City. I tried to renew my services earlier this year and have been quoted multiple different prices and have had to follow-up 5 times on my own. Bad customer service and the lawn care worsening at the same time is not the best combination.

Terrible experience with Ace of Blades. We canceled their service, but they continued to show up multiple times despite all phone calls and emails. Customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. Overall, it was very frustrating—be cautious if you decide to use them!!

Technician spread fertilizer granules, but I did not see him spot treat any of the weeds in my yard.

Tech was very polite and professional. He went out of his way to answer my questions and went searching for an answer when he was unsure.

I had heard great things about Ace of blades. However, their service has been terrible. I called multiple times within a couple of weeks to have them come and reservice my weeds and it was impossible. They continued to tell me they would escalate scheduling, but it never happened. It seems they do not have enough technicians to keep up. I had high hopes, gave them multiples chances and was let down. I have since cancelled.

We had Ace of Blades come out to treat our yard for mosquitos. Jamal arrived and let us know he was on-site and proceeded to do his work after. He made sure everything was covered in the yard and did an exceptional job.

I used them for nearly 6 years. It's dependent on the tech. I had the same tech for 5 years and they switched to someone else about 6 months ago, back in October I received a text saying that Ace of Blade applied pre-emergent to my yard. I work from home and saw no one show up that day, i didn't have an invoice on my door like i normally do and they didn't leave their little sign in my front yard. I went to my back yard and i saw zero evidence that anything had been applied to my yard, my gate was still shut and latched, you can't latch the gate from the other side after closing it. I received a text message saying my property was going to be serviced on Tuesday, truck showed up and sat in front of my house for 20 minutes before leaving. It happened again Wednesday and finally Thursday they "serviced" my lawn. This time their was an invoice on my door. I looked at it and it said he was at my house for a total of 3 mins. I checked my backyard and again no evidence showing anything had been applied. I called Ace of Blades office with my concerns and they called the tech. The tech said "yeah, i didn't do the back yard this morning. I'll swing by later today to finish it"........This tech would have never came back to finish my yard if I had not called. When he showed back up to do my backyard, I went out and asked him why he didn't do it earlier and his response was "I thought I had". I asked if he was the one who serviced my yard back in October and he told me no, which was a lie. I have the invoice showing his name from the October service that I got from their website before they updated to their "new customer portal". I guess technically he didn't lie because he in fact did not service it. I would not recommend Ace of Blades unless you want to "baby sit" their techs to make sure they're actually doing their job or install cameras pointing towards your yard. Edit: About 6 weeks since my original post. Front yard is covered in weeds. Their price has gone up since my last application. I called this week to cancel. Senske Services bought this company 2 years ago and the quality/performance has gone way down. They will do spontaneous price increases, techs will straight up not do their job if they think they can get away with it. Their new customer portal is trash. It only shows dates and the price, doesn't say anything about what they did during that service; such as what was applied etc. Already signed up with another company and its nearly half the cost. Stay away.

I scheduled Ace of Blades to treat my lawn, provided payment, and scheduled summer long treatment. They cancelled 5 days in a row. I give them star for emailing daily to say they were coming but never showed. Needless to say I will not be using their services.

Poor customer service they will not return calls or respond to web contact. They also did not treat yard as stated in the service. Since they sold out a couple years ago the service has been terrible. We have used them for the last 8 years, but this is the last service I will have with them.

I have been an Ace of Blades customer for 7+ years, but their service has gone downhill ever since their previous owner sold to Senske Services in 2023. They killed the fescue grass in my backyard and part of my front yard due to their negligence. They applied pre emergent herbicide only a couple of weeks after aeration and overseed was done. I made multiple calls in the weeks after to have them come look and provide a solution to the problem but with no success. I am not one to leave one star reviews, but I have spent over a thousand dollars on their annual yard maintenance plan over the last couple of years, and my backyard is now the worst it has ever looked.

One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with y’all might want to think twice before having them come take care of your lawns and your flowerbeds. I hired them to come kill weeds in my flower beds and around my tree beds and they did that all right. they killed the grass and then tried to tell me that it was normal that the grass died because they were trying to kill the weeds. That’s not normal. had somebody else do it before and they did a great job so I canceled them because of their Customer Service and nobody could seem to get their act together. When they were going to come do the yard after telling them not to come out, they still came out. I was being charged full price and only part of the yard was getting done. I canceled them at the end of October 2025 they were supposed to send a refund to me. We are in the middle of January 2026 and they still don’t have their act together. No refund one person says it was because of the holidays a different person is like well let me reach out and I will get back with you and they never get back to you. Beware.. My next step will be the Better Business Bureau.

I had a very disappointing experience with this lawn service. They showed up without knocking or informing me, and I watched as they didn’t spray either my front or backyard. Despite this, they left a bill for services I did not receive. I expected a professional service, but it seems like they didn’t even do the basics—no communication, no actual work, and yet I’m being charged. I reached out to the company to resolve this issue, but there’s been no response so far. If you’re looking for a reliable and honest lawn service, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Initially (Mid-Late Summer) I had to call to check-in on why my lawn wasn't being regularly serviced. Starting October, they started to rush services - scheduling appointment for the same service frequently to get billing ahead of the winter season. I had to call them multiple times to ask them to cancel the scheduled appointment and remind them that they had just come in for the same application not too long ago. The representatives reviewed the account and agreed and said a supervisor would call me back - I called in multiple times over three weeks to discuss this. No supervisor reached out to me but they continued to schedule appointments. I would not recommend this provider.

First two years with Ace of Blades in 2023 and 2024 was great—our lawn came in with grass, not weeds, for the first time. In 2025, they must have changed their formulation because our lawn is FULL of weeds now (crabgrass, nut grass, spurge, dandelion, lespedeza). We have moved on to another service provider.

I saw couple lawns maintained by them 2 years back and was really impressed. So decided to choose them when we moved to new house even though their price was significantly higher compared to other vendors. After couple of treatments itself I saw weeds coming up and complained about it . Someone came to visit and said they will all go after spring cleaning. I never missed a treatment and paying a very high price. Weed just continued to grow and now it’s all over my lawn. Each time I complained about this they came up with some excuses. Now after more than a year with them I have decided to cancel their service as my lawn is in pretty bad shape and no one in this company cares other than giving silly excuses. From my experience they are just below average service who charges significantly higher price . Disappointed !!

The past two summers, my yard had light streaks and dark streaks during June and July. They said I was mowing it unevenly and my soil was compacted? Nut grass all summer this summer. And then spilled clumps of fertilizer the other day. Great company for four years. The past two years have been really bad..
