Ecoshield with their 12 mo program includes an annual inspection (I had forgotten and the office staff called to remind me I had that free service with my package). Complete inspection inside and out, including attic and crawl space checking for any pest infestation and even pointed out 4 spots around electrical wires for my new heat pump where we had holes in wall for necessary wiring, that needed calking to prevent pests from getting inside the wall. My inspector, Peter, was very helpful, informative, and explained things so I understood. Very pleased with my annual contract. I hired them last year when I had wasps inside my front siding by front door that attacked anyone coming to the door. Also a family of mice in my garage. Same day the wasp nest was treated it was done and within a couple of weeks no more mice. And there had been many. Having this service makes me confident I won't have any more unpleasant surprises. Plus it's all safe for my fur babies. Peter (my inspector) was excellent, the quarterly staff that come check in for any concerns, as well as the office staff, are also good people, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.

This company is a SCAM, stay away. They lock you into a contract where they charge $200+ visit to set a bait trap with poison (they lie about that), knock down some cobwebs outside, and set a couple more traps, maybe. The kicker is when they show up and perform an inspection and then tell you that you need $20,000 in work in your attic or crawlspace. They wanted $4000 to build a new crawlspace entrance door LOL Good thing they offer payment plans so you can pay interest on the $20k

Horrific. They didn't cover anything specified within there website and contact. After 2 sessions I asked for termination of contract and asked for money back. Was never contacted again by the company. Won't answer calls. Was very disappointed. Also they put glue traps out after they were told to there faces not to. They also put our several bait stations with poison around the house calling themselves eco/animal friendly. Found a rat dying in my backyard where my dog could have gotten ahold of it and died as well. Expressed concerns and lack of care and tried to defend there unethical practices. The rat bait they use can be purchased on Amazon and doesn't attract as specified. Services were a joke , each tech was trained in the same babble and answers per question as the techs were never the same per visit. When first called to cancel there was massive pressure to continue to contract saying you will get bugs in the summer it's going to happen and it would be a shame to restart so just stay with us. With reluctance I stayed for 1 more session, however on that next visit the treatment became less to the area. Just checking exterior bait traps (2x) then leaving but charging $200!!!!! So cancelled and asked for our money back due to unhappy and unsatisfactory services. -----NO RESPONSE OR REFUND!

Have canceled multiple times and they keep showing up. They don’t do a good job all they do is spray. Had another company come in and do it for half and actually set humane traps and get the job done. EcoShield charges $150 plus to walk around your house with a sprayer for 5 minutes.

We were customers of EcoShield for several years. When we signed up for the quarterly service, we were told that rodent control was part of the service. We were also told that any potential points of entry for rodents to get into the home or crawlspace would be addressed upon signing up for the service. During our last quarterly service, we were told that there was a lot of rat activity underneath our home in the crawlspace. We had an inspector come out, and we were told it was going to cost over $2000 to remediate the rat problem. I asked why this issue had not been caught earlier during prior quarterly inspections, and why the entry points had not been sealed, as we were told they would be. The inspector said that the quarterly service only covers “trapping“ of rodents. Again, this is not what we were told when we signed up for the service. We did end up paying $2300 to Ecoshield to have this problem addressed. However, we then canceled our quarterly service. I called multiple other pest control companies to inquire about their quarterly service options, and I was told several times that it was the “industry standard” to seal up entry points for rodents upon signing up for services. Multiple other companies also told me that my rodent problem should have been remediated for free by Ecoshield, as it was their inspection deficits that ultimately led to the rodents being able to cause such issues in our crawlspace. I also want to point out that Ecoshield’s services have dwindled over the years. For example, about a year ago, they stopped applying products to control spiderwebs. Also, if you call them, you never speak to someone who is in the United States, and I found that in general, language barriers were always an issue when trying to communicate with them via telephone. Another thing they started doing, was asking us to tip the technician who came to our home during the quarterly inspections. I have no idea why they thought asking for a tip was appropriate. Altogether, I think that they are just another greedy company who will lie to you in order to get your money, and then will just do the bare minimum.

Service area was Gig Harbor. I sadly paid for this service, in retrospect, for 5 years. When I realized that the service probably doesn't benefit much and most of the time do not address the things I had asked for (spider webs on outdoor back patio, etc.) it was time to cancel. I work full time as a surgeon and do not have the luxury to call during business hours to cancel service. I tried for 3 months when the opportunity arose but never an answer. I had quarterly service in Aug 2025 where I was charged 163$. I disputed the charge because the company MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO MANGE ACCOUNTS OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS AND WEEKENDS. I was unable to physically cancel this service. Of course like a poorly managed, immoral bunch of cowards who lack common human decency and empathy, they sent my balance to a collections agency in CA. I called EcoShield the next day to talk to the first line customer support, then her supervisor "Jax" who admitted that the lack of account control was not ideal but the internet and IT world is "ever changing". Never the less, I asked to speak with his manager who was not available, and was supposed to call me back that calendar day so I should "keep my phone line open." Would you believe that I never received any phone call. After discussing with my legal friends, they advised that there is little chance this will hold in small claims court and reimbursement for service cannot be held because of a poorly run business with poor principles and even worse customer service. So I paid the 163$ to rid of this headache. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMMEND NOT STARTING WITH THIS BUSINESS THAT (1) LEAVES VERY LITTLE MEANS TO HAVE AN OUT WHEN NEEDED NOR THE PLATFORM TO MANAGE ACCOUNTS, (2) LACKS THE DECENCY OR THE MORAL CHARACTER TO ACKNOWLEDGE CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION AND (3) REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY.

Had a terrible experience with these guys My wife(acount was under her name) and I Signed up with them because it sounded good. Had them come out and go under the house. They broke several vent screens and said they “found” a mouse and then left it outside for my kids or dog to get. Nasty. Then we go to cancel because the service doesn’t even work at all, we had even more bugs, all they had was excuses of this or that. Complete BS. It’s $250 to cancel which we knew but it’s the sales tactics used. if we will drop the price from $160 to $90 would you wanna stay and continue the service. To me that’s shady and unacceptable. Why wouldn’t you offer that price to begin with. Even there reply’s to bad reviews are terrible and robotic. They don’t care about good service. 100% would never recommend them. They suck. BEWARE

Service is a joke. Techs don’t arrive on the scheduled times. They are here for 5 mins and didn’t even treat my whole house. The last tech that was here told me “we will never get rid of the spiders. You have to many trees.” So why am I paying for a service that will never work. Highly do not recommend. Absolute joke.

We were told during the sales pitch and initial service that spider webs and egg sacs would be removed as part of the treatment. That was one of the main reasons we signed up, especially at a price point of $220. Unfortunately, after the visit, there were still many visible spider webs and egg sacs left untouched around our home (photos attached). If this was something the technician simply overlooked, I shouldn’t have to point it out… especially when it was part of what was promised. The service felt rushed and incomplete, and based on what was delivered, it doesn’t feel like we’re getting what we paid for. Unless this is addressed quickly, we’ll likely be canceling the service.

To all people looking for pest control, look somewhere else. I assumed that having a large presence in lakewood would mean they understood our pest issues. I scheduled them to come out, and I took the whole day off they never bother to call and notify me that they are on their way. They never knocked or rang the doorbell. He split the tag on that he had taken care of the outside and that we have to reschedule the inside care. He didn't even take care of the outside per their slip he should have taken care of the webs and barriers of the outside house. Attached are picture if live ants and webs, so they will just charge you 175 dollars for basically placing a slip on your door that they worked. What's the point of scheduling the appointment if they are not going to complete it and just reschedule with discussing it with me first, which will require I take another day off.
