Billing service is questionable. No humans to speak with, bots only. And really no results evident.
I never write negative reviews but I feel fairly disappointed in the level of service received. I paid close to $250 dollars for them to come out for a one time visit and spray for bugs with an emphasis on the spiders located on our back porch. I’m not even sure if they had even sprayed the entire perimeter and if they did, had not put the attention to detail they had noted in their report. The tech rang my door around 8:07am. I left to go back inside to attend to my kids and would glance out the window at the service truck here and there. I noticed they had left around 8:36am. It was 30 minutes of service which I noticed most of that time the tech was in the truck. When I called they said the tech’s notes said they did a thorough job and did spray the entire perimeter. When I asked how long a service like this usually last, they told me an hour to an hour and a half. This was quite a surprise to me as I barely saw a half an hour of service and they told me the report says service was complete around 9:05am. Since I was inside I’m assuming they were thinking I was not paying attention. It would have been in my best interest to have monitored the work. I can not completely verify if they did a complete perimeter job and if they did it was rushed. When I received a call back it felt as if there was no interest in making things right, similar to another negative post I had seen. I would not recommend this business and if you do use them, I would recommend monitoring the work that is actually done.
Matt from Sound Pest Control is absolutely the best! He is professional, reliable, and truly knows his work. He has been serving us for four years. He takes his time to explain everything clearly and answers all questions with patience. I highly recommend this company and if you’re lucky enough to get Matt you won’t be disappointed.
Mr Yoan was very helpful and friendly he explained every question I had. I would definitely recommend him to do this kind of service to everyone I know and will do it again with him.
I’ve used them for years but not sure but when called this year I’m not sure they must have changed hands! Not professional, rude and not on time No Show! Highly suggest finding a legit company. I will no longer be using them!

These guys are great ! I tried to handle my rodent problem myself and after 2 years of war and not knowing if I was really winning I decided to bring someone experienced in to take a look, my efforts had helped but I didn’t have the knowledge to be completely effective or even know what route to take.Richard is prompt friendly professional and knowledgeable he quickly made a plan and performed some tuff repairs and Now I can relax knowing were doing everything we can to win this war Thank you Sound pest control !
We had a carpenter ant infestation that started last week, completely out of the blue. I called Sound Pest Control on Monday, and they were able to send someone out to my house on Thursday. Born was very personable and professional, explaining every step he would take and why it was important. He injected poison into the walls of the house where the colony had set up residence, sprayed in the crawl space, and did a perimeter spray. Boy, was that effective! Yesterday we killed over 100 carpenter ants who fled into the house to escape the poison, and thankfully the numbers have tapered off quite a bit today. I shudder to think of the damage they could have done to my house if unchecked. Thank you, Sound Pest Control!

I had them come to my house for a year and had no problem. Everything was great. Then two technicians came out. I was home as well as my spouse. They did not spray around the house. They just left. But I was charged. I called, and the owner said they did spray, and she blew me off. I checked outside, and there was no spray around the house. There was no offer to come and spray to make it right.

Sound Pest Control came to our house this week. Richard explained the plan of action to get rid of ants in our kitchen and critters in the basement. Relieved and so glad I called! The peace of mind is worth the expense!

I had my house inspected for a rodent problem a few weeks ago. I set up a follow up appointment to have them make repairs and take care of activity. I called the day of to confirm the follow up appointment. The guy on the phone told me the exterminator that was on my file no longer worked there and things got "jumbled around" and they couldn't come out that day. I told him I moved things around and set aside time to have them come out and then I had to go out of town for the weekend and I was very concerned about the situation and I basically got an "I don't know what to tell you". We got back in to find out that they chewed a hole through the cieling. During our initial appt I asked if he was going to check the attic and he didn't seem to think it was necessary. It's clear that it was and this could have been caught sooner. They had two opportunities to fix this. The first time was checking my attic when I asked, and the second time was showing up for the follow up appointment. I now potentially have a very costly issue and these are the professionals that I trusted to help me out with this issue. I now have a massive problem and they definitely have some blame in this.

You know why I don’t have ants, rodents, or very many spiders… because I have the Sound Pest Control maintenance plan! Best purchase ever after dealing with ants one summer. My wife would never let me cancel the service because she knows she hasn’t dealt with insects on the house for three years now. Great company that I highly recommend!

James came to my home to help rid our home of the rodent problem we've been suffering with. He showed up on time and answered the many questions I had all while remaining friendly and kind. Having rodents in your home can feel embarrassing, but both Suzi whom I spoke with on the phone, and James, made me feel comfortable and not judged. Really down to earth people!! Would really recommend this company if you too have pests in your home.

Their specialist, Born, is very capable. He is a down-to-earth professional who is courteous, optimistic, knowledgeable, articulate and gently persistent and persuasive when he believes he knows where a difficult problem entry point is. He offered additional services to the owner’s rep, but was agreeable, and even helpful when the owner wanted to handle the work instead.

We have had nothing but ISSUES with sound pest control. At least 3 times we have had an issue with billing where we are invoiced one amount, which we pay, then we are issues a notice because there is just magically more that we need to pay (that wasn’t on the hand written invoice). So we get handed a bill for $70 something dollars, but get told there’s still $50 owed by someone on the phone. Multiple times we have called to address this issue and get told oh no, this is what it shows on our end you owe, at this frame rate in time we’ve paid on the same bill twice now. Every time we’ve been on the phone with them it’s to address billing issues and inconsistencies with their service. If you want to get randomly billed, have charges added on, and be nothing but frustrated with the service, then use Sound Pest Control.
Charged me almost 500 dollars for their tech to be on site for 30 minutes during the initial service then came back for a 15 minute follow up. Did no inspection of the interior, especially the garage where we said was the main trouble area and place two bait trips in one bedroom that I could have purchased for 5 bucks. During the follow up they said they could not locate the two bait stations they place around the exterior perimeter and quoted me 30 dollars to replace them. I never saw those bait stations anywhere after the initial service, therefor I do not believe they were ever placed. Also quoted me 1,000 dollars to cover some holes and change my crawl space entrance. All things I am able to do myself for under 100 dollars. I have cancelled my service with them after just 1 follow up and will be looking for a new service provider.
SPC has been amazing to work with. They are knowledgeable, honest, fair, and respond quickly. They have been so accommodating scheduling us when we need service. Highly recommend!

I just got off the phone with Sound Pest Control, and they will not come to look at my property to give me an estimate. Apparently, they only give estimates over the phone. I want someone to physically come to my house and walk my property to see what they recommend. How can someone know what to estimate if they haven't seen the job site? They don't know where or how big my garden is. They don't know what kind, or how many, fruit trees I have. They don't know anything about my landscaping. They don't know about my 4 car garage, my shed's, or my 3 patios. There are so many variables. How can you estimate a job you haven't seen?

We contacted Sound Pest Control to eliminate our mole problem. The representative came out, treated the mole tunnels with CO gas then followed up with repellent granules. We faithfully followed the procedure for watering the repellent into the soil. We were disappointed to find the very next day after the treatment we had mole hills popping up in the treated area and they continue to appear. I called the office and shared what happened although they said they would get back to me they did not. Pleasant people to work with however their service didn’t work.
I used Sound Pest Control for ants and had an unfortunate and frustrating experience. I don't usually write comments about businesses unless its pretty bad. The gal on the phone was super nice but the technician who was sent was 2 hours late and was super sloppy. He didnt take off his shoes and stepped in some really sticky Terro product and tracked it all over my bathroom, hallway and mudroom. Its been two days of cleaning my master bathroom floor and the company gave me a $30 off (off a $350 price tag - for spraying for 20 minutes! - the price is another problem I had!). Worst $350 Ive ever spent

Saw this advertisement on their website: "When you choose Sound Pest Control for your bed bug needs, our expert bed bug control exterminators will be at your home to provide you with a free inspection within 24 hours." When I called they informed me the inspection would cost $85. The lady informed me that this had been the case for quite some time and that their website might need to be updated. I told her it was false advertising. She said regardless it was going to be $85. They should still have honored the free inspection and then ensure their website had the correct information on it. I will never use a company that doesn't honor their word. To me it shows a degree of dishonesty and untrustworthiness.
