Buffo's Termite & Pest Control

I was highly impressed with this company. Instead of making assumptions about the issue and then aggressively upselling unnecessary products, they demonstrated they have the necessary tools and expertise to accurately assess the problem. They recommended only what was truly needed. They are an outstanding team.

I just felt like I was vacuuming carpet not mowing my lawn! I was not told by anyone to give this review and I have thought about doing this every year for the past ten years or so and realized I need to do this because I am so satisfied. I use to fertilize and do my own pest control but never had a lot of success. My wife's friend Lisa is the daughter of the owner of Buffos and mentioned they do fertilizer and pest control. We decided to give them a try. The first time I used buffos I noticed a huge difference in how green my lawn was along with no weeds and bug problems. My lawn has looked awesome ever since. They are the nicest people to talk to and are very organized and on time with applications. I have had many people ask how I keep my lawn so green and healthy. I tell them with one word. Buffos! Now they are starting to use Buffo's Termite and Pest control and fertilizer. Now I'm starting to get jealous of their lawns. Thanks again for such a great service. Clay and Carolyn Creer.

We have used Buffo's for years. My wife signed up with one of the door knocking company's and it was a horrible experience. We were able to finally get out of that service and back to this great company. I would highly recommend them. There preventive service is great. Service Technicians are friendly and know what they are doing.

Poor Service and Questionable Business Practices! I had a very disappointing experience with this company that cost me over $1,200 with little to show for it. Termite Treatment Issues: Paid $1,200 for termite treatment despite having no active termite infestation - I only wanted the warranty coverage for peace of mind. When I contacted them a year later for the promised reinspection and warranty renewal, I was shocked to learn they considered the warranty void because I had replaced some grass in my yard and repaired a sprinkler head. These minor landscaping improvements somehow invalidated my expensive warranty, and they insisted on an additional $700 to renew coverage. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Ineffective Spider Treatment: Also paid them to spray for spiders with zero results. The spider problem persisted exactly as before treatment. Out of frustration, I purchased products on Amazon for a fraction of the cost and achieved dramatically better results doing the work myself. Overall Assessment: For the significant amount I paid, I expected professional service and effective treatments. Instead, I received expensive services that didn't work, followed by unreasonable warranty restrictions that seemed designed to generate additional fees. The fact that I achieved better pest control results with DIY methods raises serious questions about the quality of their treatments. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. Look elsewhere for pest control services.

We've used Buffo's for years to service our large HOA maintained areas. They have helped with vole and gopher issues, as well as tree and shrub pest treatments. Their prices are always fair and reasonable and the respond quickly and communicate options and results clearly. They just get the job done without hassle and without pushing unnecessary services or long-term contracts

I have used Buffo’s for many years commercially and at my home. Had them come to the house again today. They are prompt, professional, clean, respectful, and knowledgeable. We had heard a critter in our attic. They set a bait station in the attic along with a couple around the perimeter of the house. They are my ‘go to’ company for pests. Very happy with their work and highly recommend them after having worked with them for more than 20 years. I go to them every time!

The two inspectors who came out to my house were very respectful, friendly, and helpful. Performed a free inspection to make sure there weren't any pest issues and gave me tips to prevent infestations. The scheduling employee was also excellent.

Great company. Spiders are gone. Wife is happy.

They do great pest control for bugs and rodents (it works for quoted length of time), but Buffos term guaranteed is shorter than a different company I found and they charge a LOT more at Buffos. The other co. does a much more thorough insect / wasp/ spider prevention. Still, after sharing a fence with a neighbor who routinely collects junk in their yard, mice kept being spotted in our yard, and Buffos is the ONLY place out of 3 different companies I tried, that actually kept mice from ever being heard in my attic or seen in the grass. When I was quoted a $60-$80 (can't remember exact) installation fee, I thought they'd mebbe do a comprehensive approach to preventing them... Nope! No construction foam or mesh to block possible entry zones, no nada -- it cost me nearly $100 to have them take 4 preloaded bait boxes out of their car and put them on the ground. So Buffos is good and bad. No actual preventative help, but their bait seems to do pretty well at preventing. Not great for other pests (ie we had ants outside within 2 weeks of their visit, and wasps started appearing a full month before the quoted time), didn't REALLY give me any peace of mind bc they didn't do anything to try and prevent rodents from accessing potential entry points... but only rarely heard or saw rodents.

They really never told me a price, they just wanted to come and give me a bid, I just wanted to know what It might cost to get a job done but no answer

I called this company and asked for my yard and my sheds to be treated. And I'm paying over $400. And all they are doing is my eves and the perimeter of my home. What a lack of service for the cost And lack of ability to Complete the service asked for. I'm giving two stars because the person that came to do the spray was fine and on time.

Got a quote for our termite problem. We had a spot on our wall where the paint was bubbling out and we heard them in there so we knew that's where it was. Guy came, didn't even touch or open the hole, just said "yup, that's termites". I get that he has experience, but you don't even just want to look at it? Walked around the outside of the house (thought it was weird he didn't look around the inside at all). Gave me a packet to read about termites, briefly explained them, the chemicals they use, and how it works. Vaguely explained that they drill and insert the chemicals that way. Overall, a super fast, not very informative visit. This is what gets me, though. They have a 10 year warranty for their work. But, they come back once a year to "check" on things, charging $150 a visit. Um, What?? Your warranty obviously doesnt mean anything if i have to pay you $150 a year to walk around my house for 5 minutes. And it doesn't make me trust your work if you have to check on things. Found a different company, a little cheaper, 15 year warranty (no yearly checks, if we ever have any concerns, we call them, they come fix it/respray as needed for free), the guy looked all over our house and in our crawlspace, sat with me and fully explained termites, the spray, how everything works. He made me feel very informed and confident. Going with these guys!

I don't understand what has happened to this company. I have used them for 4 years, and hooked all my neighbors up for their service. This year they have not responded to 4 of my calls for service. The receptionist said they no longer spray yards without a contract. I told her twice to send one out and she has not followed through. I called them to spray my sons house. They showed up late with no notice. One month later, they finally sent me a bill, and WOW, what a price increase. Unless the owner calls me to get some feed back, I will no longer be using them. They just lost my 2 houses and yards, twice a year. A loss for both them and us.
