If you are looking for a pest control company this is not the one. They will gladly take your money and not perform their standard service. Example I'm on a board for a community. Company schedules a day to come out for their quarterly service one guy shows up with only a long pole to dust spider webs. No spraying no other treatments were done. Then arete argues that the services were complete which is funny because on everyone's door camera no one is seen spraying or any sort of pest control. Dishonest company and not the first time they did a poor service. Also very unprofessional to lie to people saying they did a second sweep. Hopefully companies like this go out of business for poor practices like this. There was no second pass that same day. Like I said this is not the first time this company has performed terribly with their services. The proof is in their lack of work spiders and wasps everywhere inside and out of all the homes at gateway village since hiring their service in 2022.

We live in gateway village in pleasant grove and the company was supposed to come out and spray. We all reviewed our cameras and they didn’t spray at all. The only thing they did was knock down wasps nest. When we sent them the footage all they said was check again! They should be coming out and actually spraying after all we have been charged for a service we didn’t get.

UPDATE: When the owner saw my review below he contacted me personally and did everything he could to make it right. The same worker was sent back to my house and he did a more thorough job and used 2 methods of ant killer instead of just randomly spraying around. I haven’t had a problem with ants since. The worker admitted he was feeling rushed and had a tough day the first time he came. I appreciate their professionalism and kindness and willingness to fix the problem on all levels. If that had been my experience from the beginning I would have been really happy with this company. But I was left with a bad ant problem for a month and a half so I say 4 stars. If you want to wash your money down the drain, use this pest control company. My HOA hired them to spray outside, but I paid extra for them to come spray in my house. They over booked themselves though trying to do so many houses in one day, and so they did not do a good job. The guy was in my house less than 5 minutes. He did not spray in some rooms at all, he sprayed around some doors and windows but not others. I told him I had an ant problem in the upstairs and he did nothing to address the main problem. He said they would come back and spray around the house another day because they were too busy to do it that day, and I never saw them come back. Since they came I have had several ant infestations in my house a week. In more rooms than I did before this pest control came. I tried to be understanding and asked if the pesticides took time. They responded that it takes up to 3 weeks to do its job of killing the ants (I have never had to wait 3 weeks for results with other pest control companies I have used in the past but whatever). I waited 3 weeks and then a month and now its been over a month and a half and I am still dealing with ants. Every time its more ants before. I am so frustrated. I wrote the company to tell them it was not working and that I want them to re-spray or refund me. Its been a week and I have gotten zero response from them. Horrible service. They took on too big of a job and now everyone in our neighbor chat agrees they are terrible and no one wants to rehire them. Good for you guys booking such a big job, Arete, but you aren't going to get repeat costumers the way you currently do things.

So we have called these guys to come out a few times.. we continued to see spiders. Today they came out and didn't do nothing! I was upstairs working and told them to check in and that I needed the treatment upstairs and nothing. I'm spending money for what? Bad service. Contract is over I'm done!

Arete has been amazing. We've been using them for a couple of years. We originally had some ants and mice and we haven't seen any since they started helping us out. Very happy with their service.

We’ve used a variety of pest spray companies for 6+ years in our current home. We switched to Arete in the last year after having poor service from Edge. We’ve used several companies in the past that are contract based, but Arete treats their customer very differently (for the better). Their customer service is great and the technicians are thorough! When I voiced the spray wasn’t seeming effective for our yard and location, they immediately called me to schedule a re-service to find a solution. Very reasonable company to work with!

Tried to get these guys to come out to out house and spray. They had a 40$ special for our community. They said they would come and no one came. I have cameras and they claim someone came and knocked. They said he called yet No missed calls or anything. Super disappointed. I'm going to talk to our hoa to make sure they even did their job so we didn't pay for nothing...
