Every single person at this company is a waste of air especially the people in charge having these “tech” out late and didn’t even know what they were doing. Every moment I had engaging with this “pest control” company is another second I’ll never get back next time I have a problem I’ll call a real company. A service doesn’t need 10 trucks infront of my home and having my neighbors calling asking if I was okay. SMH

Absolutely horrible experience with this company the ENTIRE time after signing up. There was only a small difference noticed in the amount of bugs we seen around the home. Directly after an employee spraying a room I explicitly explained not to spray because I had a vivarium in that room I lost everything living in it. Then I moved and my new address service did the old address so that had to be redone. By this point I was tired of waisting $60 a month so I asked for services to be cancelled. Still 7 months later I'm still getting contacted and billed about my services, I have told them numerous times to quit contacting me and billing me. I have had to terminate my bank card to stop the billing and now they keep stacking and contacting me about an over do balance, and still sending services to an address that I am no longer at! At this point I'm at a loss of what to do with this company because I have tried MULTIPLE TIMES to cancel out my account and they absolutely refuse and keep stacking charges to an over do balance that I shouldn't have in the first place, and have paid hundreds extra during the past while trying to repeatedly cancel my account. This company will never service me again! Please if you are reading this looking for a company to go with go with someone else. The only reason the reviews are so high with this company is the employees beg you to leave a 5 star review for them while they are treating the property before you get to even really see any results from the treatment.

Stay away!!! They charged us without even servicing the home. We called and asked them to look into and submitted our camera footage; said they would look at their truck footage and nothing! We asked to cancel and they are still charging us. They stated the manager would call us and nothing! Only to wake up this morning with yet another charge. We have already found a new company and we do not recommend doing business with urbanex!

Really terrible experience with this business, I signed up for mosquito and general home treatment services. After multiple visits to my property, each month for 7 months, the mosquitoes are still terrible, I still have carpenter bees, and I still have ants and other insects inside. I’ve called to complain and they have come back out to service again but the treatments are not effective. So I asked to cancel upcoming services and the company wants to charge me a cancellation fee. I’ve paid over $1k to have services that are not effective and yet they still want to charge me. Worst part is the customer service is so rude. I spoke to Micah and Justin who both told me they didn’t care and would charge me fees to cancel upcoming treatments. I would avoid doing business with this company, they just want to steal your money without providing credible service.

The sales person lied to me. They hid the contract (folded over behind) below my signature for a one time credit card fee. -it was supposed to be a one time fee for five sessions. But they say I only paid for the first one and charged me again the very next month and then again every three months. They also said it was guaranteed and could cancel at anytime with no fee. ALL LIES !!! there was so much deception and double talking. And it did not work:(

Switched to Urbanex from our previous pest control provider because they promised to take care of everything the previous company was in addition to rodents. After making the switch, we saw a significant increase in bugs both inside and outside our home. We were told to be patient and wait for another treatment, but the problem didn’t get any better. The people that have come to our house to spray have missed a ton of spots. Webs and wasps nests have been left all over the place under our deck. We’ve had to have people come out multiple times because we didn’t get the full service we’re paying for. One of the correction appointments, urbanex even tried to charge us for it. We were also told if we weren’t happy with our service, we could cancel free of charge. Now management at urbanex is trying to charge us a cancellation fee for both our standard service and mosquito service. Very disappointed with this company and won’t be using them moving forward. They have zero integrity, don’t provide the service their customers pay a lot for, and won’t do anything to make it right.

If spots were missed, that falls short of our standard and we take responsibility. Anytime you see pest activity between your regular quarterly visits, we’ll come back at no cost to re-treat problem areas until the issue is resolved. In your case, the reservice request was placed right at the time your quarterly service was already due. This overlap may explain why you noticed webs at that time. To make sure you were treated fairly due to calling in for a free reservice, we went ahead and credited the full-service amount of $169 back to your account on 8/19/2025. I've had this service for 6 months or so. I didn't have any spray service other than a spray purchased at Walmart and dispensed myself last year. The pests this year have been the worst I've had in my 5 years at this home. Even when I sprayed it myself it was better and more effective. I've had them out twice to spray the pests on top of the scheduled services and they are still out of control. Had a man from their office last week come and walk around my house to see the problems. After wasting 20 minutes of my time he told me to call and tell the office. Why did he even come? Well, I asked, apparently he was a sales guy that has nothing to do with anything about services and was just wasting my time. Today I called to cancel my account and they are saying I have to pay 250 to cancel a service that doesn't work and the customer service that doesn't help customers. Everytime I tried to text the numbers "that can be text anytime for help" they tell me to text or call a different number. I spent 20 minutes just to talk to someone who claimed they were the "manager" of my account but couldn't do anything to remedy this situation. Apparently when I signed up I signed a contract. When I asked about canceling or skipping appts they never mentioned a 250 fee. I feel lied and cheated out of my money. Not to mention I'm paying them 170$ a visit. They are a scam. As far as services it feels as if they sprayed water around my property. It took them less than 15 minutes each visit also. Not sure what kind of business that isn't doing their job is ok with taking people's money got nothing in return but I am reporting them to the BBB. There is definitely something scammy about this whole situation. Beware.

0/10 recommend. The salesman LIE about not locking into contract. You absolutely can NOT CANCEL without being charged. I had a newborn and was skeptical but decided to give it a shot since he said I would not be charged, but that was also a lie. I got charged 3 TIMES in one month! Every call to rectify the situation only got worst. “Scott” who handles collections has the worst customer service and also lied. He said he would send techs out to resolve the issue but instead submitted a cancellation email and charged me AGAIN. This company will spend more time taking your money than actually helping and runnng an effective pest control business. I wouldn’t be surprised if this review isn’t left on the business page. They only post the “good” but I’ve read up on the posts who had similar issues as me. It’s unfortunate. This company is a scam. STAY AWAY FROM THERE and don’t be stuck or charged like me! The service doesn’t work and you’re stuck cleaning up THEIR mess.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – CROOKS! We were sold this service by a door-to-door rep who assured us that if we were unhappy, we could cancel at any time with no fee. That turned out to be a complete lie. Our quarterly service is $175, and after poor service and multiple complaints, we finally decided to cancel—only to be hit with a $150 cancellation fee. Every visit was rushed and careless. They’d show up, spray the outside (even after we specifically requested interior service), and leave in under 3 minutes. We had to repeatedly chase them down to get someone to service the inside. They never replaced the traps. It felt like they were just checking a box, not actually doing their job. There are plenty of better, more affordable pest control companies out there that actually do what they promise. This one is not worth your time or money. Would NOT recommend.

This company is incredibly misleading. In May 2024, a salesman convinced me to sign up by falsely claiming their service would address my mole problem—spoiler: it didn’t. He also said I could cancel anytime after the first year and that monthly visits were included for $60, which seemed fair. In reality, they only showed up once every two months for less than 15 minutes. After six months of poor service, I decided to stick it out to avoid a cancellation fee. Two months before my contract ended, I called billing to express my dissatisfaction and requested cancellation at the end of the term. The representative was dismissive and unhelpful—and ultimately failed to cancel my account as requested. When the contract expired, I refused further service, only to be hit with a cancellation fee anyway. Despite fulfilling my one-year obligation, they insisted I was still on the hook. It’s clear they’re more interested in squeezing money out of customers than actually providing effective pest control. To top it off, I never saw the same technician twice. Extremely disappointing experience.

I have used Urbanex for years and I am going to get quotes from other companies. I have holes all around my house. Urbanex was here a month ago and put granules around the house and added poison the my pest box. Now the pest box is empty and I have all of these holes. The guy told me what product to buy on Amazon to kill grubs. He says his company doesn’t use that product. He says I need to kill the grubs because I may have armadillo or shrews or voles and they eat grubs. I am also having an animal control company he recommended come next week. I spent $100.00 on the Amazon product to kill grubs he recommended. Why won’t your company use products that work??? I am definitely getting quotes from other companies and I am a very unhappy customer. The guy was great that came. The company not so great for my particular problem.
