Do not recommend. The place is a scam. The service is way overpriced for how little it works so we went to cancel it, which cannot be done online, you have to call to cancel. The guy on the phone said we have a year long contract that started in September 2025, which is odd considering we started getting service from them in May 2025. We were also told when signing up that we could cancel at any time with no penalty and that it was NOT a yearly contract. The guy on the phone told us the sales guy lied. I asked why the contract started in September when our service started in May. He told us that they sent us a link through email (on the third visit for some reason) and once you click it, it automatically signs a contract. I told him that makes no sense and quite frankly, sounds illegal. He was getting agitated and said that every customer says stuff like that. Obviously people say that given that's not how people sign contacts. You need to be able to see what you're signing before given the chance to sign it. Then he hung up on us when I told him that. Also, we looked back at the emails we got in September. We never even opened the contract email from them. Stay far away from this scam.

Bad experience, be careful for charge on your account they have away to charge without letting you know. Never recommend it for any one I paid almost 500$ for no reason and against my contract for the year.

Horrible took $500 for a year without providing any service. We called them, but they didn’t even bother to give us a refund. They charged us for a service that they didn’t even perform. Please avoid using this company. Find a different one.

This company provides the worst customer service provided by rude individuals who are not truthful. There are several overseas call centers that give you the runaround and transfer you from place to place. I am currently trying to cancel my service and having trouble doing that I advise you strongly not to do business with this company. I feel so strongly. I’m going to find other places to post this information so that other unsuspecting individuals don’t receive the poor service and the rude Customer Service that I have experienced.

Terrible customer service they don’t show up on time and they do little as they can and then send you some bs pictures saying they are done! When you complain, they say fine. We can just cancel your contract and charge you $200 without you agreeing.Do not waste your money!

Careless technician sprayed my Vivint cameras - Have video proof. If you have expensive outdoor equipment, do NOT let Aptive near your house. During my last service, the technician was completely careless and sprayed commercial-grade pesticide directly onto the lenses and housings of my outdoor Vivint security cameras. ​I have the video footage saved from the camera showing him spraying it, along with photos of the residue left behind. ​Anyone who works with electronics knows this is a massive mistake. Vivint explicitly warns against this because the chemicals in bug spray (like DEET and other solvents) eat through plastic and strip the delicate protective coatings off camera lenses. ​Thanks to their "service," my camera warranties are likely voided, and I’m risking permanent foggy lenses because the technician wasn't careful enough to avoid my property. When you hire a professional service, you expect them to have the training to not hose down electronics with chemicals. Complete negligence.

I don’t like approve because they tell you when they are coming to spray and if it’s not a good date for you they tell you to reschedule. You go to the page to reschedule and there is NOTHING available. Then you try to find a way to reach them to inform them you won’t be home and there is no way to reach them. I wish I had never left Orkin!!

Overall I am very displeased with our service from Aptive. Our first appointment no one ever showed and then no one ever communicated with us why. The appointment was just rescheduled. I would have expected someone to call and apologize because we had set aside our whole day to be present. Then the second appointment the communication was very poor. I was not updated on ETA. Tech was late. Over the phone I had expressed that I wanted the inside treated. When my husband met him outside, tech confirmed only treating the outside. My husband had asked him to check in with us before he left just in case there as something we thought of that needed treatment. Tech left without checking in. I am going to be looking for other bug services. We will maintain our contract until that is in place or unless our service improves. I have never been more displeased with any service than I have Aptive.

I asked them to CALL me to let me know when they were coming to my home - they never called! They did not spray the inside of my house - they said they knocked and rang the doorbell but no one answered - I was at home the whole time - the doorbell never rang and my dog would have barked if someone knocked! This is the 3rd time this has happened!!! Their service gets an F+ on following customer care and service!!

Originally gave them 5 stars when they first came out. They did a great job after the door to door sales man was here. Then we found out they lied about the monthly payments and told us we were locked in for a year. They still havent been back to spray because they canceled the appointment the day of. I would NOT recommend. They seemed great but don't trust what they say. I should have read the contract closer. Lesson learned

If I could give zero stars I would! I’ve been with this company for a year and twice I’ve had to call in because they were not doing the job promised to me. They were suppose to inspect the inside and outside of my home and help clear all pest and spider webs. I still have bugs crawling everywhere as if the situation has gotten worse, and spiderwebs are still all around my home. I’ve killed at least 5 spiders since spring and summer is just starting! On top of that, today with the last inspection they charge me for a service I clearly did not receive! The guy never showed up to my home but lied like he did and I was charged $109 for it. Then once I asked for a refund and a cancellation they told me that they had to have a card on file to refund me my money, but I never removed the card. The rep then told me that if I even mention the words wanting a cancellation they automatically remove the card and I would have to add the card back to get my refund….as if they can’t automatically see which card was charged and just click “refund customer”. I highly advise anyone to stay far away from this company as possible, because they will waste your time and money! Do not sign that contract because if you cancel early they will charge you a $200 fee! This was the worse mistake I ever made.
