Jacob, from Pure Turf, came to do the Spring application to our lawn. I stopped and spoke about a couple things and asked questions about a couple more. Jacob was courteous and answered with what he knew. Took photos and was kind the entire time. Great visit. Great service. Looking forward to the lawn continuing to be healthy and full.

EDIT: It was Mr. Chandler I have emailed prior regarding my concerns before I decided to put this review on Google. He never responded to my email. I also sent in information follow-up to you all following your response on here and still have not heard anything back. I am not sure what to make of this now. - I used this service for about 6 months and did not see any improvement in my lawn. The weeds were out of control when the treatments started and the weeds never went away. I felt like I just wasted money. At one point and time, a service I paid for was performed in pouring down rain. I was informed that would not affect how well the concentration performed, but who knows. It did not make sense to me. I am giving a 2 star, and not a 1 star due to the customer service. The employees I have talked with were friendly. I was offered a free upgrade to the aeration service, but completely disengaged regarding how I advised that I spent nearly $1,000.00 on services that showed no results.

Even if you don’t want us to make anything right, your feedback would still help us improve our processes.<br>One important note for context: if your program began only 6 months ago, the lawn hasn’t yet gone through a full aeration and seeding cycle...which is the only way we can meaningfully increase grass density. Without that step, weeds will always outcompete thin turf. That said, we understand how frustrating it feels to invest and not yet see the results you hoped for.<br>Our team is proud of being responsive and doing the right thing, so if you’d be willing, please reach out to us directly. I’m guessing this review won’t be one featured on their website. :( I had high hopes for this company as they seemed different. These pictures are my lawn after an entire season of care and $2500 investment. Best thing about them was our sales rep, Stewart who’s a great guy. Unfortunately, everything else was as bad or worse as all of the other lawn care companies in the area. Ultimately if the field techs aren’t trained well or motivated then it doesn’t matter what plan was developed for your lawn. I’m convinced that some of these techs just hold a hose. Over the summer, our lawn was overrun by crabgrass and the tech informed no one. Apparently, it’s up to me, the guy who’s paying the bills to tell the office that we’ve got a weed issue, not the tech? As a result, I now have the worst lawn in the neighborhood, after they had to take drastic measures to kill the weeds off that I was paying for them to prevent in the first place! Perhaps the most telling thing about this company is that despite many issues, several of which I didn’t even explain here, I never once heard from a manager or owner reassuring me that they would make it right. Save your time and frustration. Go elsewhere.

Hey Lance,<br>We’re disappointed by this review, especially since Stuart did a fantastic job communicating with you this summer and our team went above and beyond...including upgrading you at no charge to our premium aeration and seeding program (core aeration, liquid aeration, and fungicide).<br><br>It’s important for others reading this to know that we just started working on your property this spring. Dallisgrass , a perennial weed , was already present in your lawn before we began treatments this spring. This type of weed often comes in with sod and cannot be selectively controlled and is not prevented with spring pre-emergent. The photos you posted are from areas we spot-treated with Roundup (at no charge) after Stuart explained the process and what to expect. Those dead spots are part of the recovery process, not neglect, so posting them without that context is disingenuous.<br><br>Your lawn also faces unique challenges: poor soil, brutal afternoon sun, and a narrow strip between sidewalk and street where heat stress is unavoidable. Growing grass in Middle Tennessee is far more difficult than in places you’re more familiar with like upstate New York, where conditions are naturally more favorable. Those environmental factors play a major role in results.<br><br>The good news is that with the premium seeding already completed, your lawn is actually in position to do very well going into winter. We recommend irrigating daily for the next three weeks and mowing at the proper height. If that’s followed, by mid-November your lawn will look dramatically different and we’d encourage you to share updated photos then for a fair comparison.<br><br>We have multiple customers on your street, who receive the same program, and have excellent results, which shows how much hyper-local conditions (sun vs. shade, soil, mowing height, proper irrigation) affect lawns here in Middle Tennessee. We’re proud of the results we’ve achieved for thousands of lawns across Middle Tennessee, and while not every lawn responds the same way, our goal is always to be transparent and to give our customers the very best path forward. We are always looking for ways to get better, so your feedback is appreciated and we wish you nothing but the best moving forward in your lawn care journey.

This was the first time I used Pure Turf and they may have done a good job fertilizing but weed control left me disappointed. They are suppose to come back and treat for the weeds they missed.

Trae did a great job of treating my grass. However, the salesperson promised that they would be out to treat my grass two weeks ago and no one showed up. I called Chris the salesperson and he told me if they don't come out Thursday or Friday they would be out the following week. I tried to call the saleperson again and he didn't answer the phone call and he didnt get back to me until the next day. With that being said the salesperson told me Trae would be out at my house within the hour. Trae didn't get to my house until an hour and a half. That wasn't Trae's fault it was a miscommunication between the salesperson and the applicators. Trae did say that I fell between the cracks and that it wouldn't happen again. I hope that Trae can deliver on his promise because Chris didn't deliver. Also think about this I signed up over a month ago. Hopefully this doesn't happen again because then I will have to find someone else to treat my grass. PS.Trae you did an amazing job let's hope your promise will not break. One more thing when i was trying to get an estimate I didn't get one on online never received an email I had to call the next day. Please try to improve on your COMMUNICATION to everyone in your company. This could lead the company to losing customers. Thanks Troy Coisman
