This morning I was home and somehow missed the tech coming to the door, so honestly I was a little frustrated and called to see if he could come and complete the service. Turns out he did come to the door I just couldn’t hear over my dog barking, and not only did he comeback the same day, he did a few extra services to make sure I was totally covered with the warmer weather. He treated for box elder bugs and wasps as they are already making an appearance! Great customer service!

DO NOT USE!! This business tried to charge twice the amount that Terminex did for the same exact service. My elderly mom got scammed into believing that they could fix all the issues and they did not! Wanted 250.00 to cancel service. I old not recommend.

Don't work with this company, your pest problems won't be solved. I paid $450 plus $55 quarterly for them to place a few traps around my house and spray and that's it. I've called them twice asking them if they can help with the pests inside my home, particularly my crawl space and they've only been down there once. I asked if I could upgrade or pay more to have a higher level of service and they brush it off and won't help me. Since my contract began with The Killers Pest Control, my carpenter has found mouse droppings and dead birds in my crawl space, giant spiders everywhere despite my home being clean and clutter free, and the smell of rat urine in my basement. I have basically paid for absolutely nothing and the great part is I can't cancel until my year is up unless I pay a $250 fee, so I'm stuck with them until my contract ends.

If I could give zero star review I would. We called to have them take care of the ants, spiders, etc along with mice we had in the backyard and under the house. We paid over $1,000 for a year contract with a guarantee they would get rid of them, because they would continue to come out weekly if needed be until the problem was resolved. In the last year they came out every 2 months or so and that was only if I called irritated, requesting service. They would make appointments and not show up or call the day of to reschedule. The last appointment was rescheduled 4x and still have not seen them. A year later and our problem is still the same. What a waste of money. Terrible company and would not recommend.

Recently reached out for services regarding fleas from a previous tenants animals. I had moved in and fleas found by Killers rep in the yard and inside the home. Scheduled spray done inside and outside. I asked above moving any items and told not necessary and left for 3 hours as requested. When I returned nothing was moved so anything on the floor it was sprayed around like bean bag, foam roller, a luggage bag to name a few. Within 24hours I continued to get heavily bitten. I called the service about concerns including items like bed and brand new couches that seem to harbor the largest amounts of fleas. Was told they don't treat furniture and I could move it all into the garage. This made no sense. Came for scheduled follow up and again bites continue with the day of follow up service within 30 min was covered with bites. I have no animals of any kind and again furniture not being addressed. Called in and explained concerns and was informed spraying was applied incorrectly and furniture should be addressed, told I was a priority to correct it but have to wait7 days before they return So now I continue to be a food source for fleas and tossed to the side by this company. Will be looking for alternatives at this point including legal as this cannot be safe for myself or my child. I do not recommend this company

Flea infestations often require multiple treatments to break the life cycle and target newly hatched fleas. The number of follow-up treatments required will depend on the severity of the infestation and our typically done at a certain interval based on the life cycle of fleas. We did 2 treatments and by the 3rd follow up we did not find any evidence of fleas. We hope we have exceeded your expectations on service and follow up. I needed an estimate and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, the toxicity of the spray vapors. I have terminal lung issues and I need to be careful of chemicals and their fumes. I was told that somebody would be coming out to do an assessment and then scheduled for pest destruction. I was told that the salesman (the guy I was talking to) would conference call when the exterminator came for the inspection and that I would have to sign a contract AT THAT TIME. Without agreeing to that, they would not do an estimate. Real "Hard Ball" stuff. I told him that I could not sign at that time, period. He became angry and slammed the phone down. Feels like an exceedingly shake operation. UPDATE: The response from the owner states that, "that is how we do business" just doesn't fly with me. Imagine going to to a physician for an operation. Before they will tell you how much it will cost, the risks or the possible outcomes, you have to consent to the surgery. How about buying a car, and in order to know the price of the car, you have to sign a contract to purchase it. This may be YOUR way of doing business, but it isn't mine. My guess is a whole lot of other potential customers would likely feel the same.

The Killers are highly unethical. We have used them for 6 to 7 years at two houses in Salem. Recently, one of our houses had a lapse in coverage for a few months. When we called to set it back up they wanted to send a tech back out. The tech, Gus, came out, and informed us they were raising their prices from $495/year to $750/year. While we completely understand cost increases at times, that increase was out of control. In addition, we were getting a lower tiered service (pests but no rodents), yet it was still a 50%+ increase after being a 6-7 year customer with two houses. Our other house was set to expire the following month, so we asked him how much that house was increasing, and he said the same amount, from $495 to $750. He also said after that year is up, we'll be required to pay $85/month instead of the $750/year, which would be $1,020 a year. In short, after being loyal customers for 6-7 years, we cancelled both houses and will no longer be using the Killers. In addition to these issues, when we called the company they knew nothing about the prices Gus quoted. Shortly after, we contacted another local pest control company and they came out and sprayed and it worked just the same. The other company charged $165 in comparison. So in the end does the Killers product work? Yes. Is it worth the price and the unethical behavior of the company and their long-time technician Gus? No. And are there other local companies that provide the same successful service for a fraction of the price? Yes

I did not like their service because when caught a rat 🐀 we had to deal with the awful smell of dead rat, for 2 days because they we’re always short on staff and it’s only by appointment. They didn’t have any emergency staff, that can come help right away! So dealing with awful smell for 2 days it’s not healthy and it’s dangerous especially when I have a 3 month old baby 👶🏻 in my house!

I'm writing this review for my parents to share the frustration they have had since signing up with The Killers (Salem location).  Signed up for service on 2-8-19 first service 2-12-19.  The next door neighbor has a hedge, that rats started hanging out in.  Then the rats thought it was a great idea to go into the house crawlspaces and garages.  My parents could not deal with this problem and wanted professional help getting rid of the rats.  They had Tom out for a quote and signed up, it seemed nice and easy.  They came out and put the bait stations and traps out in the yard, under the house, in the garage and inside the house.  They said they would be back in a couple weeks to check on the bait and traps.  My mom told them they need to call first to make sure they will be home, was told yes we will call first.  My parents would be gone to doctor appointments and The Killers would show up with no call, only being able to check the bait and traps in the yard.  My mom would call and leave a message for a call back and never get one.  She would call again a few days later and the same thing would happen.  I had to drive down from Beaverton 2 different times to get rid of rats in traps for my parents, since The Killers would not call back.  This is not a way to treat any customer, but especially the elderly and a double amputee in a wheelchair US Army Veteran.

Called for an inspection to be done in our home. Appointment was set for afternoon, got a call asking to move it to "in 20 minutes". Was told no report could be written when i had SPECIFICALLY asked for one at the time i booked the appointment. My husband then called and asked if anything at all could be written, scheduled another appointment after several conversations with the company. Supposed to have an inspection today and the tech came out and told us no inspection would be done at all period due to our request of something in writing. A phone call would have been nice.. or how about not wasting our time and tell us flat out "no we will not write anything down to say we've inspected and whether we recommend treatment." Total waste of my time.
