Cook's Termite and Pest Control

I love this place.. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years.. Their products are amazing!!

Edit October 3, 2023. I see the owner responded to my review 2 years after leaving my initial review of her hateful and disrespectful attitude. I also see there is another review of Cook’s left about 1 year ago who had the exact same experience with the owner Kathy. Her rebuttal of my review couldn’t be any farther from the truth. I gave this company 1 star only because of the terrible customer service by the owner. We were having a problem with yellow jackets under our chimney which is attached to our crawl space from the outside. I was stung 5 times all at once. They sprayed but did not locate the nest because they would not pull back the installation which was just laying against the wall in the crawl space. (When i called to schedule the appointment they said if the insulation was not attached they could try to locate it). The tech sprayed 2 areas and when he was leaving we asked about a warranty and said if we see more will you come back out. He said they would come back out. So 3 days later I began seeing yellow jackets in my basement again so I called and asked about them coming back out and the person who answered the phone handed me off to the owner Kathy and she immediately started yelling (and I mean yelling) at me saying they don’t have a warranty and she is sick of people like me trying to get services for free and that she will refund my money. I told her I wasn’t asking for a refund I just wanted the yellow jackets gone. I was in tears. So I left a review of Cooks explaining what happened and she went off on my review saying I was looking for free services and lying about asking about a warranty and that it’s people like me who hurt small businesses and that she refunded my $200. I own a small business and I am a huge supporter of small businesses. Cathy’s customer service that day towards me was unacceptable and degrading. I spoke calmly with her and afterward left a negative review. And just an FYI- I never asked for a refund, but she stated she gave me one - but that was a lie - I never received any type of refund.

After paying for services that were not fulfilled, called to follow up on matter. Was greeted by both an employee and a lady who identified herself as the owner. Both were very negative, nasty, unprofessional and insulting. The technician who initially came out was very nice, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. But the customer service afterward and speaking to the owner was terrible! She literally yelled at me while being rude, disrespectful and would not extend the common courtesy of listening to my complaint without continually interrupting me and at one point even using foul language towards me. I originally chose this company based on a previous patronage of the company, but it won't happen again. I would not recommend Cooks termite and Pest Control to anyone based on the customer service I received from the owner.
