What a lovely experience with this local company. They were kind, efficient, personable and did not once oversell me. They came out for an inspection of what we thought were carpenter ants and within seconds provided us factual information and details on next steps. While I hope we never have pest issues going forward, I’m genuinely sad I can’t use Ohio Exterminating Company for all home repairs.

Called for a termite inspection. Spent 10 minutes on the phone only to be transferred to another rep who had zero information from the previous call. When I pointed this out, the response was “I don’t get it” — no accountability, no attempt to understand the issue, and no acknowledgment that this was their problem. The transfer tactic feels deliberate — exhaust the caller, reset the conversation, and the next rep covers for the previous one. Completely unprofessional. Wasted my time. Will not be using this company.

Very professional and timely service. Easy scheduling. Since the bees were in the ground and no nest removal was done I felt the price was too high. Service only required water and spraying of chemicals. 🤷 I paid over 200.00.

I don't believe in bad reviews, but I believe in honest reviews, so here it goes: I signed a contract with this company, and the first time they sent a guy out all was great. He was very detailed and did a good job. We had an ant problem and it took two treatments, but it got resolved. Then, after three months, I got a very unfriendly call from a lady who informed me that they would come out to our house on.... time.... We h ad plans, and I dared to let her know about it. The 'meeting' got postponed. The guy came out and ask us what we wanted him to do, which I found odd. Shouldn't he know what to do? Isn't there any paperwork? He did the job, not sure how, though. Then today, two months later, I got another call, which I missed. I called back. A very unfriendly lady informed me that they will be at my house in two days. No questions about my schedule or availability. This time I had enough. I canceled the contract, told her that I didn't appreciate the way this all worked and informed her that I can't just drop everything and for the exterminator. She hung up! I would not recommend working with this company until they teach their people how to answer a phone politely. Also, perhaps they need a reminder that the customer is still the one who should have a say in the WHEN meaning date and time.

We needed help with rodents in our shed. We called Ohio Exterminating and they had someine there the very next day. Its been three weeks and no new activity after the first week. Great service and people.

We have been a customer for Over 25 years. We have been very satisfied. But the best thing as far as I’m concerned is the technician Don. He knows his stuff. That’s why he’s the only person I expect to be at my place ALL THE TIME.

Ohio exterminating is awesome. Came by around 4:30 in the morning to remove a huge hornets nest in my tree! Always will use them/ not sure if Jim came by this time but I saved Jim’s card after the first time I used them - great company

Came out early in the morning I never even heard them. They took care of a very very severe yellowjacket infestation in my home. They guaranteed if it wasn’t handled correctly the first time I could call them back indefinitely until it was… However there was no need. One visit And it was all taken care of. And the young lady on the phone who takes your information and set the appointment is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend a service because I’m telling you I had a serious problem they were inside the siding inside the concrete brick And I haven’t seen one yellow jacket since they treated the problem.

He returned to seal the nest area and explained exactly what to expect (activity should drop within a few hours to a day). Two days later, there’s no visible wasp activity—exactly as promised. Nick’s professionalism, safety focus, and communication were excellent throughout. After a frustrating experience with another provider, Ohio Exterminating was a breath of fresh air: prepared, methodical, and effective. If you need wasp removal done right the first time, I highly recommend Ohio Exterminating and Nick.
