Very bad experience, my opinion would be to go with them while they preform your inspection. I was excited hiring this company based on their reviews. But I was highly disappointed and disrespected. I was told we had termites in “Stored Lumber” at the address in question. We walked the property many times and still didn’t understand where they got that conclusion. We reached out again and asked for a little more information. They get a nasty attitude basically telling me someone removed the lumber that was never there and told me to use their business or find someone else. While taking a picture of dirt on the side of the house. I wouldn’t of mind paying for the service if needed. This was an extremely unpleasant experience. If you decide to hire this company just be aware that you should be present to ask any questions. And so they don’t accuse you of lying. We are out of 470$ but I hope this helps anyone considering this company.

Honest company to hire. This company was recommended by our realtor for a termite inspection. They handled the inspection promptly during our du diligence period. After we moved in, we contacted Eco Advantage to discus our options for a Termite bond. We went under contract with them and a crew came out to treat our home as a preventative and to place us under a bond. While they were under the house, their technicians informed us that they believe they saw a leak in the crawl space from the sewer. We had two plumbing companies come out and take a look. One of which was through the home warranty that our realtor purchased for us. Both plumbing companies, during their initial troubleshooting, informed us that the pipe was drilled through during the termite treatment. The owner of Eco Advantage contacted me and said that if it was their fault, he was going to take care of it. They worked with one of the two plumbing companies that initially said there was a leak caused by a drill. The plumbing company informed me that Eco was going to take care of and then the plumbing company came back out, dug up the area and driveway and found there to be no leak at the sewer pipe, and certainly no holes drilled into the pipe. It is looking like this is ground water that was mistaken for a leak and initially miss-diagnosed by plumbing company. The plumbing company filled the hole back in and left the concrete unpatched at my request. I requested this so I could patch it myself to keep the bill cheaper. Afterwards I was informed by the plumbing company that I owed them nothing and that Eco Advantage was taking care of the diagnostics. (EVEN THOUGH it wasn't their fault!?!?) This company looks out for their customers and I highly recommend them based on their honesty and good faith. I will be a customer for life and plan to switch to them for our rental property as well, after our current bond expires.

Derrick was awesome. He described how my lawn care and flower beds needs to change to reduce bug infestations and he provided excellent information on different types of pests in the area, what draws them in, and best practices to keep them away! I highly recommend!

We just recently bought a new home and had Eco Advantage do some work in the crawlspace. We called them for a second opinion. They were available that day to come out and give an estimate. Once we booked with them, they got us on our schedule quickly thanks to Brooks! I got to speak with the owner Johnnie which was refreshing, he was very helpful in explaining to me what needed to be done and what should be done in the future. Our tech Richie came out and completed the job to 100% satisfactory. We will definitely be using Eco Advantage again!

Great company. Great employees professional and resonablly priced

Purchasing a home and was concerned about afew things found in home inspection after eco advantage performed there inspection recieved report and was surprised they never found existing previous damage there report was lacking detail and was informed they don't use a latter so no inspection of attic or 8 ft basement ceiling. After I express my concern to realestate agent recieved a call from owner of eco advantage and was not happy with tone of conversation he was a bit angry and I felt only concerned with justifying the report and not addressing my concerns. They need work on customer relations. Hoping they take this review and work on better things

Very good place, love the owners attention to detail

Im currently in VA looking to purchase a home in NC.(we are a military family) I called Eco advantage on a Thursday and they were able to fit me in on the coming Monday between 9-11. Inspector came out (late)went into crawlspace and upon exiting went on to tell me he's a contractor on the side and for $100 more he could go in and remove insulation to look for further damage. The home was currently occupied and the inspector was unable to look at the water heater and the garage. He also claimed he couldn't move pine needles away from the base exterior of the house because he would be there too long. We eventually decided against the home due to further inspection so I receive a call to pay the bill and they want full payment for half a job. After being told my realtor needs to send me elsewhere next time to find a termite inspector, the receptionist agreed to have me pay half the bill. Unprofessional and lazy! Wasn't planning on returning for next termite inspection and wouldn't recommend!
