Run!!!! Do not hire this company!!!! As a military spouse there are times that I have to handle all accounts and concerns. My husband has previously called and added me to the account because appointments should be confirmed with me it seems that over the months this communication was lost and they couldn’t have the manager contact me directly and wanted to only speak with husband. I have been calling for the past 3-4months for re-sprays and they do but I still see live bugs. I have voiced my concern to the technician and his response “the rain washes it away” like it’s no big deal. We’ve been with this company since 2022 and have only recently started having the reappearance of bugs. When I called today the receptionist responded with “we have no records of your complaints” I’d imagine not especially since there is no record of my husband previously adding me to the account.

I have reviewed your account and you did call in June and August regarding having excess pest activity. We apologize your account was not notated on these occasions. That was completely on us. We did schedule visits on both occasions to try and correct the pest problem. We do not want to lose you as a pest control customer. I would be happy to send our technical director by for a free callback service. We try and use these times as the opportunity to provide additional training because sometimes it does take a second pair of eyes to get to the root of the problem. Mrs. Penichia Blue does a fantastic job keeping our building at Farmers Furniture in Fairmont NC spayed for bugs and rodents....we very seldom see any bugs throughout the the store and never see any rodents. We are very pleased with her work performance and would highly recommend her to anyone else.

From initial contact to a job WELL done! Clegg's employees were courteous, professional, and straight forward. BEST service for prices cheaper than the other guys. Can't go wrong with a family-owned business when it comes to customer service. :)

I can tell you I'm very disappointed in my installation service. They installed the dehumidifier and didn't turn it on., it has been under my house for almost 2 months and it wasn't even running until Nicholas came the other day to do my quarterly inspection and discovered it wasn't turned on. You need to train your people better. I don't know if there would have been any damage having the dehumidifier not even running for 2 months, having All the vents sealed off. Nicholas assured me there wasn't but how am I supposed to know. I am certainly not crawling under my house, that is your job. Someone should have come out right away after the installation was done and made sure everything was running fine, not two months later Again if I could give cleggs a zero Stars rating I probably would. Their service department is disgustingly terrible!! Sitting here waiting for a technician to come and apparently my time was changed. I called the Fayetteville office to complain about where are they, and apparently they were here at 1:08 this afternoon my appointment was between 2:00 and 4:00 so I have been sitting here waiting. There has been no indication that anyone was here or any kind of report. I've had nothing but terrible service since this dehumidifying system which I think is a total rip-off was put in my house. $5,000 and I have no proof that this thing is even working properly wouldn't recommend cleggs for anything

I’ve been dealing with Cleggs for 5 years. I really appreciate the service they provide, I love all the technicians & they do an amazing job each time! I wanna thank them for always keeping my home pest free. I’ll definitely recommend anyone who is looking for quality services, but also honest & respectful “bug killers”!!

I've been in public housing for 21 years I've lived in 4 of the 5 projects and never had cockroaches until this year same guy came until this year a woman is doing it now she barely sprays the place so all the apts that are looking for a good pest control you don't want to pick this company where it was a 5 Star for 20 years it's not anymore

Scheduling is awful, they did not reach out to schedule appointments but just showed up. When we weren’t home they completed half the treatment but wanted to be paid for the entire treatment before coming back and completing the job. They reported they cal and provided treatment and wanted payment for an appointment we were not home for and our video doorbell shows no record of them being at our home that day. When I called and disputed they did not change any of the charges and continued to bill Us for treatments that were not completed entirely or scheduled ahead of time.

We have definitely struggled with staffing over the last year but we tried very hard to not let that affect our customer's experience. We do offer a free callback between monthly and quarterly general pest control plans so I apologize that this option was not communicated with you before we lost you as a customer. If you would ever be willing to give us a second chance, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
I’ve given this company way too many chances. After being stood up MULTIPLE times the manager Larry reached out to me to give them another try and assured me this behavior isn’t normal for them. He set up one spray that went well. After that it took weeks to get someone to call me back for my next spray appointment. When I finally got to place an appointment and when the day came, guess what? I was stood up again. No call no show. I called that day and left a message asking for someone to call me and explain to me what happened. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t heard a word. I’ve never had a business ignore me and stand me up ever like this one has. It’s mind blowing. I really tried with this company but they blatantly don’t respect their customers. I’ve always been kind and never caused issues so to receive this treatment is upsetting. I don’t recommend them at all. Go to Orkin or anywhere else.

We do not believe in making excuses and you are correct, we provided you with terrible customer service. We have put new training and protocol practices in place to improve communication and service internally and in the field. We do value our customers very much and I apologize that we did not deliver on the excellent customer service we promise even when you gave us a second chance.
We had cleggs come out to give us a quote on pest management in our attic, where the use of a ladder was needed. We understand accidents occur, as the tech scratched our wall and told my husband he would be back to fix it. Not only did we not receive the quote, but we have also been ignored regarding the incident he agreed to fix. Would strongly urge to take your business elsewhere.

Clegg's would like to apologize for not leaving your residence in a different state than when we arrived. I will bring this to the attention of my service manager to ensure this does not happen again.
This agency provides poor customer service. They will schedule an appointment without prior approval, give you less than 24 hrs to decline services or approve and will bill you. They will give you appointments based on “their availability without any consideration to the customer”. I brought this to their attention and they continued the same behavior. They will also misrepresent their billing/services they provide. They renews my contract without my permission and lied about it. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

We apologize for the delay in responding and the customer experience you have described here. We have made many improvements in training our customer service team and also software enhancements for scheduling and communicating with the customer in case you shouls ever decide to give us a second chance.
Poor communication, gave run around on day David/shorty was supposed to come I canceled. Also I was told my payment would come out day before service from Shawn and it came out 3 days before service date. Luckily I had two company I spoke. They should get more techs and better communication training. I was was told my refund would take 2 weeks... Definitely nothing professional about this company nor the corporate office in Durham.
This company is a total scammer. We got scammed twice. When my husband contacted them last summer, they told him they would come out quarterly to spray our house. They came the very first time and never came back. When I called them this summer not knowing it was the same company (I would have never called if I knew), they told me they would come semi annually and do the treatment. I agreed and I paid the money in full on the spot. After the first treatment, the technician told me he would be back to do a follow up. When he came for the follow up, we both agreed everything was looking good, so he left. He didn't do anything but walking around. About a month later, I called the company because I'm having issues with the ants (way more than I did before the treatment). When I asked if they can come out and redo the treatment again, they told me my contract was just one time treatment and a follow up, and they don't do the treatment semi annually. And also, because I said everything looked good during my follow up with the technician, the lady on the phone said I denied the second treatment and I should have still let him do the treatment as if it was my fault. How was I supposed to know that they were going to count the follow up as a treatment when there was no treatment? After talking on the phone with the lady, she said "out of the courtesy" they will send out the technician again in two weeks. The appointment was yesterday, and no one came. I waited, but no one showed up to my house. We got scammed twice. Not once, twice. I also know their chemical isn't effective because I got the ant treatment and I had bigger and more ant hills than I did ever before. If i can give this company a 0 star, I would.
Really disappointed in their service and lack of communication. The initial inspector informed us they would do two separate treatments to remove the moles in our yard. We paid $450 for mole removal service that was not thorough and completely a scam. Their "service" consisted of one technician using a hand-held seed spreader to spread grub around the yard. That's it. When I contacted the company a couple days later, they stated that their service was no guarantee and that was on the contract. I understand there is no guarantee, but to charge $450 for a service that I have already done with a $20 mole grub from Amazon is ridiculous. We hired a professional for a reason because of this. Additionally, the technician did this between a rain storm and by the time he finished going around the yard with the seed spreader, rain/wind started again and he left. So, the grub was washed away immediately. Please do not trust this company. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Waste of money.
