The technician came to my house on time, listened to my issue carefully and then explained the entire procedure and set my expectations properly. SCAMMERS!!!! I hired All Platinum Termite & Pest Control and paid $525 for mice treatment on our floor. The agreed scope of work included poisoning inside the walls, treating the attic, the garage, and a small indoor area in front of our main door. When the technician Anthony arrived, he began working only in the garage, which is a very small area used for electrical meters. He sprayed only twice and did not close or seal any visible holes. When I asked him whether he was going to close the holes as part of the treatment, he said no. I explained that we had agreed on a full treatment and that simply spraying a small area without sealing openings or providing any guarantee would not solve the mice problem and would likely require additional treatments in the future. At that point, I asked him to stop the work and requested a refund, and that I would pay $50 for the two sprays, he agreed. The technician then put his equipment back in his car, made a phone call, and left me waiting outside in snowy weather for more than 10 minutes. He later returned with a paper stating that I owed $75 for an inspection and $350 for treating the garage. I informed him that at no point-either during the phone call when booking the service with Kathy or in person —was I told there would be a separate inspection fee. I also explained that charging $350 for such a small garage area was unreasonable and inconsistent with the total agreed price of $525 for treating the entire floor. The technician then got into his car and attempted to leave without resolving the issue. I called the police because I believed this was a scam. The police advised that the matter is a civil issue and should be handled in civil court. UPDATE!! I attached the receipt showing the full amount I paid, along with a screenshot from the same date when I had to call the police. They wasted over 3 hours of my day, caused unnecessary stress, and I paid $525 for absolutely NOTHING!

Our records show that we visited your property prior to this visit for an inspection and a quote $425. To drill and rodent proof you’re apartment (under the pretense that you were going to do a rodent proof job that you had no intention on paying for as a tenant) your landlord declined responsibility the payment you then call the technician directly as opposed to the office and offered him $100 for the service that was quoted $425. which was declined based on our company’s standard pricing and inspection policies.<br>While the discounted price agreed was for $525 to cover your apartment, attic and garage the visit in question was interrupted when expectations about the scope of work, particularly regarding sealing holes. We are not contractors we do not have materials a contractor has such as cement, sheet rock …<br>Our technician, Anthony, treated the garage as part of the outlined service. However, when he pointed out openings in the garage needed a contractor due to the size of the openings you requested that he stop the work, he complied. He should be paid for his time, inspection and treatment of the garage. You wanted it for free. He told you to call the office and speak to the owner , you became irate and irrational . He tried to leave because you made him very uncomfortable . you physically jumped on the back of his vehicle Creating a serious safety concern. This is not acceptable behavior under any circumstance, and we had to call the police. You called the office screaming and yelling <br>Your issue should be with the landlord, not the exterminator trying to help, I sincerely believe you are beyond help as wasting our time on multiple phone conversations asking the same questions , multiple visits, service provided , dealing with police <br><br>Do not ever call us again!<br><br>--

Terrible service - I found a roach 12 days after the service and was told that they provide no guarantee - mind you I had only called because I found one roach in my home and had sought service to prevent this becoming a more serious issue. I called again today after one month because I just found second roach last night and now they are refusing any service. I regret giving the service technician a $20 tip as I feel that he didn't do enough at my house.

You also told us you have a one family but it turns out you have an illegal rental apartment downstairs that you failed to tell us about!! Then you tell us while we treated your roaches two months ago we brought in rats to your home !! You give us a bad review but basically your a nut renting out an illegal apartment and are not practicing good sanitation and you want us to come back for free!!! All Platinum managed an infiltration by mice 5 years ago, so I called them again. The office person could not tell me what the charges would be, despite having treated my house before. She said that the agent would let me know from the house, after he had done the inspection. What actually happened was that he called me 20 minutes before the inspection, demanding a payment of $125 for the inspection (paid by ZELLE,no way back). This had NOT been explained on the phone. It felt tantamount to extortion. I paid the fee, he came and did the 15 minute inspection and then gave a quote that was nearly double what they had charged 5 years before. I find the approach, unprofessional, misleading and dishonest. I did not engage their services.

So we could not give you a price till we saw what was going on! You had a choice not to pay and not to except service. I inquired about a consultation bc I saw a roach in my home and the rep said she will see if they are able to reach me through email I wasn’t demanding a quote immediately I was simply calling to see what the next steps were and was met with hostility. My review wasn’t about your performance but about your poor customer service and this response is a reflection of that. Have a good day ! Called to inquire about their rates had difficulties getting through eventually someone calls me back and the attitude I received as if I was a burden to them LOL as if I was an inconvenience not a potential customer. This is directly for the Staten Island branch, fix the attitude problem and you won’t be losing potential business.

AVOID use this service. They do NOT get the job done, no matter how many attempts. I decided to go with them because I wanted to go with a smaller local business versus and Orkin or some larger company and im filled with regret. I first contacted them about a mouse problem in our duplex apartment. First guy that came only treated our kitchen and dining area (per his direction) because that was the only spot we were seeing droppings. VERY fast service with zero result. Failed attempt number one. They were apologetic at how bad this guy was and assured us that the next guy would do the job. Second time they sent a different guy who was "their best guy" or the manager of the rest of the guys, whatever story the customer service lady told me to sell him. He came and wanted to treat our whole place, but we had him focus on the kitchen dining again because we had a 13 year old dying dog and 1 year old baby and wanted to not put mouse poison all throughout our house if we could avoid it. He begrudgingly agreed. We kept finding droppings. I had separately called a handyman to come and get behind our dishwasher and place some of the traps they had provided us. He came back again, criticized the placement of our dishwasher, placed ONE steel wool under a hole in our sink, and grunted and moaned the entire time and made me feel so uncomfortable. This was another attempt (the third) in vain, as it did not solve the mouse problem. We kept seeing them in our kitchen and living room. At that point our dog had passed, our baby had turned 2 and I said ok lets treat the whole house. They sent a different guy, Corey, who was really lovely and kept telling me that no one ever called him back because he got the job done and he was "personally guaranteeing his work" -- famous last words! He seemed really diligent, went around our whole apt stuffing steel wool wherever he saw fit, placing poison behind our fireplace, etc.  He was by far the most thorough of the three guys they sent. He told us to wait 2-3 weeks for the poison to work, we went away on vacation (this is now July 2024) and when we came back (a week after their "30 day guarantee"), we found MORE DROPPINGS! When I called them they told us they would in fact charge us for service and that he would be coming by on Sunday (same guy as the last time, Corey). Long story short, he never showed up, he never answered calls and I am not bothering to contact them again because I should have just gone with a more professional company. Lesson learned, do yourself a favor and dont give this place the $1,000+ of we have now paid them for this whole saga and put them towards another pest control place that will get the job done in a real way. SEE MY ATTACHED PHOTO FOR MY LATEST INVOICE FROM THEM, SINCE THEY CAN'T SEEM TO KEEP TRACK OF PROPER RECORDS, EITHER!

I had used this company twice before without any issues, but my last experience was a complete scam. I had an appointment scheduled, and Kevin texted me confirming his arrival. I replied "OK," assuming everything was proceeding as usual. However, when he arrived, he called me asking, "Where are you?" I reminded him that during the last two visits, the service was completed while I wasn’t home, and I asked if my presence was necessary this time. Instead of a simple clarification, Kevin became upset over the phone. I told him to hold on, as I could be there in about 20 minutes. By the time I arrived, he had already left, claiming he couldn’t return for another hour. At this point, I explained that it was strange because the previous two treatments were done without me being home, and everything was fine. Then I waited over an hour, and I couldn’t wait any longer, I let him know I had to leave. Suspicious of the situation, I parked five houses down and spent the next 15 minutes watching my house. Then, Kevin texted me saying he had just completed the spray—yet I had a clear view of my property the entire time, and no one ever showed up. He tried to have me pay him for a service that was never performed after he wasted over two hours of my day. As you can see from the screenshot, our conversation was in July 2023, approximately 1.5 years ago, I don’t know why my last review was taken down, but the owner is clearly mistaken or straight up lying in his response about his statement of Kevin not working there for 3 years.

Please don’t waste your time and money with this company.The product they used will not kill cockroaches plus they have horrible costumer service.I hire this company to fumigate my kitchen after almost 3 weeks after fumigation I still have the same cockroaches problems .I contacted them to let them know that the product they use it didn’t kill any of the cockroaches. they want to charge me again 150 dólares when I all ready paid 254 dollar to fumigate my small kitchen.After several arguments with the owner asistence she refused to try to provide service with out charging again . I contacted the owner of the company directly after several arguments he agreed to fumigate again free of charge He told me that someone was going to contact me to schedule to an appointment.they scheduled the appointment them self with out notice .The exterminator send me text Sunday morning saying that he was going to be at my apartment at 8:45 with out me knowing that I had an appointment scheduled for that day I let him know that I was not home.he told me to contact the office to reschedule.I contacted the owner again I explained to him that they scheduled and appointment with out notice his assistant was lying about she contacted me to schedule me. she tried to scheduled me for Sunday I told her that I’m not home on the weekends I let her know that I’m available Monday through Friday she told me with a nasty attitude she didn’t have availability and this was going to be the last time scheduling free of charge when they never came before after the first time I heard the owner telling her to tell me they were going to be on vacation but she kept repeating her self that this was going to be the last time with out a charge .When I told her that I’m not home on the weekends she didn’t even try to be accommodating with a time and day that works for bough of us she makes me feel like I was asking for a favor I feel and believe that they made it difficult scheduling again for them not to provide the service again I will not tolerate that any one talk to me in a bad way specially when I paid for a services.Any one that is seeing this review if you don’t want to waste your money and don’t want to deal with arguments and Someone treating you like you are lying don’t used this company service you will do your self a favor

Roaches typically need multiple treatments before they are completely removed if there are unsanitary living conditions either inside or outside of the dwelling. We have treated thousands of customers over the last 25 years for roaches and rarely have any issues if the homeowner makes sure to not leave food or clutter around. AVOID! *Update Edit* Read entire post for more info. In less than a week of my husband putting a cage with different bait himself, we were able to catch the squirrel. I called the company every week (for about a month) that the bait they used had not been touched. They never came to switch it out or check on it. I hope this posts prevents anyone else from being ripped off $500.. We also have not received the fee for the cage back. If you're using this company to trap an animal you're basically going to pay a "professional" $500 to put a cage up, throw a honey bun as bait, and never come back. TOTAL SCAM! Within the first week of having the cage up I called the office to inform them that the animal in question was not taking the bait . Almost immediately they said they'll come back and take the cage (without offering other alternatives or having switched out the bait). I called again after another week with the same response " we can come get the cage" which had not been touched and had no animal trapped. After that my husband checked himself to see what animal we were dealing with. The technician that we paid for did not...(initially the company assumed it was a raccoon). We found that it was in fact a nest of squirrels. After getting the run around from the company that we paid to do absolutely nothing for 4 weeks, I call them to inform them it's squirrels and not a raccoon in hopes that they can provide a more specific approach now that we knew what animal we were dealing with. What do they do? Come and take the empty cage away with the stale honey bun and tell us to hire someone to close up any openings.... I call to ask for a refund, they Do Not give refunds (which I can understand) but because absolutely almost no attempt was actually made to catch the squirrels, yes I feel the request for a refund was valid. They claimed the same cage to catch a raccoon is used to catch a squirrel....a squirrel cage is much much smaller. Take a trip to Home Depot or Lowe's and save yourself from being scammed by this company. *EDIT* The technician never came back to check the bait as they claim. He came only to set the trap and to remove it. He was friendly and gave suggestions to have someone close any openings. However no real attempt was made to catch the squirrels, the work that was done is easily a diy, not $500 worth. I called their office several times to update them and each time was met with a nasty toned woman saying "what do you want us to do?" "We can take the cage back". I gave plenty opportunity to make it right but when you rip people out of $500 don't expect kind words. I suggest anyone looking at reviews check their Yelp reviews which are more accurate to what we encountered.

Initially we did not know if the animal in your attic was a racoon or squirrel. The cage and bait we put in the attic traps BOTH animals. The cage is large enough for most wildlife. We also informed you that the root cause of the problem was the many holes and openings in the wall. The squirrels hide and come in and out through any opening that can fit its head. A contractor was recommended to properly seal off all the holes around the perimeter of your attic space to stop the problem for good.<br>Our technicians came over your residence 3 different times to monitor the bait and activity. Unfortunately the amount of holes and patch work needed made catching the squirrels a very challenging job. We always try to make our customers happy. Needed someone out on a Saturday and this was the 3rd place I called and only one that did Saturday calls. Guy came out, plugged some holes with steel wool, put a couple of $10 box traps down and said "yup no other signs of mice and that mouse you saw it definitely gone" and charged me $575. As soon as he left it ran out and I caught it myself. Wish I charged it on my credit card instead of paying cash, I would have done a charge back. Felt like I got robbed. Definitely wouldn't recommend for the NJ area

Sir you called us for an emergency job and we responded right away. You called three other companies and no one would help you! We sealed all your entry holes which allowed you to catch that mouse on our traps and then you turn around and give us a Bad review!!! Be aware! They seem professional and show up to do the job when you call however it’s not what it seems. They charge a lot of money ($400!) to spray for five minutes with promises that with one spray all your bug issues will be eradicated. The exterminator Chris gave me his personal cell number just in case I need to be in touch. I should’ve known that was too good to be true because the amazing spray didn’t work! The bugs showed up again! I texted Chris since I had his cell number and to his credit he came again, sprayed and didn’t charge me. We continue to have a bad chemical smell in the house three weeks later, but of course the bugs returned!! When I tried reaching out to Chris once again to see if he had any other suggestions to get rid of the bugs, I got NO RESPONSE back!!! I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried again, but it’s a week later and guess what I’ve been ghosted!!! This is NOT how you treat customers…..how disrespectful!!! Like I said be careful because they appear professional and knowledgeable and are happy to take your money, but when things get too difficult or they have no other solutions to offer they just disappear and ignore you.
