We're are a local pest and weed control company serving the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque area since 2011. We specialize in kid and pet friendly pest and weed control services. General pest control includes control of ants, roaches, spiders, scorpions, centipedes and more! Weed control service involves spray applications with either pre-emergent or post emergent produtcs on either xeriscape, lawns, or even bare dirt lots. We also offer rodent control services and tree/shrub spraying for pest protection. Ricky came came by did a great job spraying my big back yard and front/sides too. I'm not sure how inflation just ignored this company but I've been paying the same price for I think 4 years now! There are not many services out there one can say that about. Cheers!

Proactive has been taking care of pest control in our home eversince. And we only have good words for them. They call to remind us to schedule and call just before heading to our place (as per my request). And they do a good job. Special mention to Mike for his efficient service plus respectful demeanor. We highly recommend Proactive.

Almost $300 for product that lasted less than two months. Now, they want another $150 for another two months. I was only 5 days out of "warranty." All the weeds I have are obviously older than 5 days. Oh, well, there's plenty of other companies out there who might treat me better and who are not all about the money. Or better yet, I'll just pull the weeds on my own.

I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your results. You were serviced on 3/4/24 so were actually 10 days outside of your warranty. I try hard to communicate clear expectations. With all of the rain that we have had this Spring your results are very typical. Most of our customers have their weeds sprayed each season. I hope that you find a service provider that you are happy with. I'm sorry again that we have let you down.
Had the property sprayed for weeds, and the tech sprayed the weed control product all over my dog. Last time they came out, the tech sprayed it all over two of my vehicles as well.I would not recommend this place to anyone, If I could leave zero stars I would.

Your dog was not sprayed by our tech. The pre-emergent dye is a deep bright orange color. If your dog had been sprayed it would be obvious. Your dog was outside while we were spraying and it does appear that he got some residue on his white coat. Fourtunatly, our products are pet friendly, but we do recommend keeping pets inside until the spray has time to dry in order to avoid this scenario. We will be sure to notify your landlord of all future sprays so that you can have your dog inside.

Be careful with their contracts, I had another service here in town that I had used for over 4 years and was currently using them with no complaints or issues. I was visited by someone from Proactive that wanted us to change our service to them. I explained I was moving soon and did not want a long term contract because the agreement I currently had in place was simply month to month. I have had two services since agreeing to change the service. My house then sold and I attempted to cancel the service and was told that I had to buy my way out of the current agreement. The gentleman that sold me the service was very nice but obviously the contract did not align with what I was told.

I'm very sorry if there was a misunderstanding in what you signed up for. We do not normally require contracts. You chose to take a promotional option in which we performed your 1st for $100 off of our normal price, contingent on you completing a 12 month service agreement. I'm not sure why you choose the 12 month service option either given your plan to sell. However, that is what you indicated on your agreement which you signed off on and initialed as having read. Breaking that contract is also very simple and straightforward, you simply reimburse the $100 discount which ends your obligation to the agreement. I'm not sure what we could have done to be more clear or forthright. I take customer satisfaction very seriously and we strive to please all of our customers. If we have let you down in anyway please feel free to reach out to me, Jedediah, personally so that I can make it right. While we are not perfect, it is always our aim to please. Customer satisfaction is very important to me.
Before I say how disappointed I was with this company I do want to mention that Jebediah is very personable on the phone................ I am so happy that I switched to Greenway instead of Proactive Pest Solutions. I had issues with rodents and had done what I could to alleviate the problem by reinsulating our entire home and filling and patching any entrance points when we bought our home. When we got Proactive they set up bait boxes but not traps that would catch or kill these large rats that we were dealing with because one had gotten into the wall and I'm pretty sure had died because the stench was horrible and was the whole reason I had called for help. (They didn't do anything for this problem, did not go into any of my attics and set traps, didn't get it out of my wall, nothing, and just said that it wasn't a big deal and that the smell would go away on it's own. It did, but still.)The rodent problem got much worse because there was bait boxes, but not a trap or killing mechanism big enough for the problematic rats. I also had them for weed control and that was a joke, after having them out twice and needing them a third time that's when I switched to Greenway. However, Greenway doesn't do weeds so I just hired someone to come every other week to just upkeep our yard. Anyways, Greenway has gone above and beyond to solve my rodent problem, by crawling up all my attics, setting traps, filling every new hole these pests have made to the exterior of our home and caulking anything else seen in the attics. I'm just so thankful that I now feel like I'm in good hands!!! Thank you, Zac and Andrew from Greenway Pest Solutions!!
